We sit down with larger-than-life retired SWAT team negotiator, motivational speaker, and author, Terry Tucker. In a spirited discussion that could have gone on for hours, Terry entertained us with fascinating tales from his time as a SWAT team negotiator, and his involvement in athletics including playing alongside Michael Jordan in college. His views on communicating with curiosity and in simple language, and his perseverance in the face of very real health challenges he has endured. Articulate and energetic, Terry shares how solicitations for his advice resulted in the culmination of his thoughts packaged in a book he wrote entitled, "Sustainable Excellence, Ten Principles to Leading Your Uncommon and Extraordinary Life". Terry also dives into his views about divorce and what one can do to better himself in the process. In addition, Terry is a proud dad, beaming over his daughter's resilience in overcoming learning challenges to graduate from the Air Force Academy and joining the elite Space Force, and emotionally sharing his "Too Dad to Quit Moment" with us. Terry's job is to motivate, and he certainly accomplishes it in this episode! Contact Us to Share Your Story: https://toodadtoquit.com/contact

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
