On this episode of Totally Exposed I got to re-interview one of my favorite guests Dr Brad Reedy about how attachment styles show up in our current relationships. Lately I have been digging deeper into attachment styles and how they are showing up in my life...I am an anxious insecure attachment and most all of my relationships are avoidant insecure attachments. In talking with Brad, I originally was going in to the interview wanting to dive deeper into each of the styles but as the interview unfolded it went a different BETTER direction and I feel like this was a true organic conversion which came down to...are you insecure? Or insecure?
Dr Brad Reedy is a Co-Owner and Clinical Director of Evoke Therapy Programs, an experientially based therapy program for adolescents, young adults and families. He is a public speaker and ha been invited to deliver keynote addresses at conferences, private events, nationally syndicated radio shows and universities on experiential therapy, mental health issues treatments, childhood issues, and parenting. He is the author of 2 books The Journey of the Heroic Parent: Your Child's Struggle and the Road Home and The Audacity to be You: Learning to Love Your Rotten Self. He is also the host of the podcast, Finding You: An Evoke Therapy Podcast.
