An Environment for Nurturing and Discovery: Brian Clemons, President & CEO, Valley Christian Schools
Born and raised in San Jose, California, Brian Clemons grew up in a strong Christian home and attended Valley Christian Schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Brian combined his passion for science and entrepreneurship by building, owning, and operating a local aquarium shop for 15 years. In 2008, he followed God’s call into education, beginning his teaching career as a junior high science teacher.
In 2012, Brian returned to his alma mater, Valley Christian Schools, as a junior high science teacher and chaplain, where he also founded the high school marine biology program. Before stepping into administration, he earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, equipping him to strengthen both teaching and learning practices.
Over the next seven years, Brian served as Junior High Vice Principal and Principal, and he now serves as President and CEO of Valley Christian Schools, leading the K–12 system with a heart for Christ-centered excellence, innovation, and community impact. He is currently completing his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at Liberty University, focusing his research on strategic frameworks that sustain Christian education in an evolving educational landscape.
Brian has been married to his incredible wife for 31 years, and together they cherish two beautiful daughters, a wonderful son-in-law, and the sweetest granddaughter imaginable. He finds joy in family time, working out, swimming, walking, and leading worship each week—continuing to live out his calling to serve God through faith, family, and leadership.
