LIn Green is the author of Enough with the Secrets, Mama: An Immigrant Woman’s Story of Overcoming Failure, Equipping Women with the Skills Needed to Enjoy a Fruitful Life Free of Maternal Heartache.
Lin Green is a writer, advocate, blogger, and public speaker based in Orlando, Florida. As a community advocate with a background in criminal justice, public administration, crisis intervention, and crisis counseling, Lin currently has a long-standing role with a government agency, spanning over fifteen years. During this time, she has also volunteered with children overseen by the Department of Children and Families. As the former Program Director for a mentoring program she co-developed for young ladies in Seminole County, FL, she understands the challenges faced by families in transition. Lin addresses these issues publicly at various venues, including Human Trafficking Conferences, the local Sheriff’s Office Community Law Enforcement Academy, the local University of Central Florida, and other community forums as needed. Furthermore, Lin has traveled across the country to support crisis incidents as a member of the Florida Crisis Response Team. She is part of her county’s Domestic Violence Task Force, the Sexual Assault Response Team, and serves as a liaison for the Greater Orlando Human Trafficking Task Force (GOHTTF). Lin has been featured in Orlando Voyager Magazine as a “Featured Change Maker.”
