Dr. Cy Smith is the Superintendent of Mansfield Christian School and a national leader in Christian education. He has served in key roles with ACSI and other organizations in Ohio, helping schools and school leaders strengthen their effectiveness in biblical worldview and mission. As host of the Clearly Christian Podcast, he challenges cultural drift, highlights the importance of Christian education to turn that tide, and argues that the only way we're going to change directions in our country is to increase the number of people who hold a biblical worldview. Dr. Smith is passionate about expanding the reach and success of Christian schools, while inspiring leaders to train the next generation to stand strong for what is right and true.
Dr. Smith is a Colson Fellow and has degrees in Educational Leadership from the University of Toledo and Ashland University. He is a conference speaker, executive coach, and school board consultant in addition to his role as superintendent of his alma mater. Dr. Smith has served at Mansfield Christian [MCS] for 34 years; he and his wife, Joy, have two grown children who are both graduates of MCS and Cedarville University.
