Bailarín clásico de formación, Padilla estudió danza, con muchos sacrificios, en Nueva York y en México; se presentó en la antigua Unión Soviética, Cuba, Francia, Alemania, entre otros países, y dedicó toda su energía a abrir el camino para todos aquellos que vieran en la danza una profesión seria y una forma de expresión inigualable. Hasta hoy, continúa impulsando las artes escénicas y la actuación.
