Por influencia de su padre, Robina decidió dedicarse a la administración, renunciando a la arquitectura, pero esta decisión tuvo magníficos resultados. A lo largo de los años ha sido fundador y presidente de distintos fondos inmobiliarios, siendo su cargo más reciente Director General Adjunto de Fibra Uno, el primer y más grande fideicomiso de inversión en bienes raíces en México.
