Jorge Font era un deportista decidido y, desde los 7 años, decidió que su vida estaría en el agua, específicamente en los esquíes. Como atleta de alto rendimiento, entrenaba, competía y ganaba. Hasta los 19 años cuando tuvo un accidente y se rompió el cuello, quedando inmovilizado. Aceptar que su cuerpo no volvería a funcionar como antes, que tendría que vivir de otro modo y aprender a reconocerse física y emocionalmente como una persona distinta, le tomó tiempo, dolor y esfuerzo. Pero lo logró, y en ese logro hubo muchas lecciones. De éstas, aprendió que la culpa hay que dejarla atrás, que el amor de la familia y amigos cura y que la fuerza de voluntad es la mejor medicina.
