It's a fun, casual and lighthearted podcast aimed at beach-loving, wine-drinking couples over 50, although as we chat about today, their travel advice is perfectly relevant to anyone. They spent much of the past year in Spain, and it holds a special place in both their hearts and their series of episodes. Learn about all kinds of fascinating corners of the country, from Marbella to Asturias, Valencia to Oviedo. And of course Barcelona and Madrid.
The podcast was inspired in part by a dearth of information in audio form about different parts of Spain, beyond the regular tourist routes, as well as an opening to speak to their demographic. It's a common theme on this show, where we've met travel podcasters filling voids and creating the shows that they want to listen to.
But Beach Travel Wine is not exclusively Spanish-focused, indeed their initial episodes start off in Paris and London. The new year should see them spending quality time in Mexico, working on their Spanish, as well as exploring more sights around Australia and New Zealand. And who knows what else! The spontaneity is part of the adventure.
In our conversation today we share some excellent advice on taking action, just getting started and not letting technical hurdles get in the way. We talk about the importance of regular promotion, and to not hesitate to regularly post reminders of your show, because the algorithms mean not everyone will see it right away anyway.
