This week on the podcast, I'm talking to Reika Shucart who was a student in the Clarity course last year. She's sharing all of her wonderful accomplishments with her yoga business this year including how she was able to secure a 4 month teaching contract at a Yoga Teacher Training in Peru this past summer.
Reika's Bio:
Reika was born in Nepal and grew up in Japan and the USA, giving her a multicultural upbringing. She has traveled extensively and gained diverse life experiences from living in various countries. Reika holds a master's degree in Sociology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, where she discovered her passion for yoga.
Driven by her love for yoga and a thirst for knowledge, Reika has completed many yoga teacher trainings over the years and has also worked for a yoga teacher training school in Peru, where she taught 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) courses.
She is dedicated to promoting inclusivity as a Trauma-Informed and Accessible Yoga Teacher, creating a welcoming space for people of all backgrounds and abilities. In her classes, she encourages students to stay present on the mat, fostering self-inquiry and exploring the connections between alignment, breath, and the mind-body-spirit relationship for a conscious yoga experience.
