The sermon revealed that what the people of Israel refused at Mount Sinai (drawing near to God out of fear), Jesus has made possible for us at Mount Zion through His sacrifice. We no longer need to send a "Moses" in our place—we can approach the throne of grace with confidence because of Christ's blood.
