Welcome back to the podcast, friends!
If you're new here, I'm so glad you found my show and we're now connected!
I apologize for not releasing a podcast episode last week, technical issues with Sound Trap occurred unexpectedly for me. I thank you though, for your patience with me. I never take your patience, kindness, or support for granted.
With that being said, we're already at Christmas Eve somehow! I'm feeling a tug to have an honest conversation about boundaries, especially during the holidays, so that's what we're doing friends!
In today's episode I share the importance of having boundaries and protecting yourself, some of my own beliefs surrounding boundaries, and share three tips for those looking to set (or strengthen) them.
I also share a message for anyone really struggling right now. I have lost people around this time of year (including just days ago, we lost my last living aunt on my mom's side on the 19th). If you need extra love and support at this time of year, I hope I'm one person you can get some from.
If this topic resonates with you, please feel free to DM me on Instagram (@thisiskaitey is my handle) so we can connect more! If you know someone who needs to hear this episode, send it to them or share it on social media so I can thank you for spreading the word about Triumph After Trauma. I'm so damn grateful that we're connected <3

The Male Room with Dr. Jesse Mills
As Director of The Men’s Clinic at UCLA, Dr. Jesse Mills has spent his career helping men understand their bodies, their hormones, and their health. Now he’s bringing that expertise to The Male Room — a podcast where data-driven medicine meets common sense. Each episode separates fact from hype, science from snake oil, and gives men the tools to live longer, stronger, and happier lives. With candor, humor, and real-world experience from the exam room and the operating room, Dr. Mills breaks down the latest health headlines, dissects trends, and explains what actually works — and what doesn’t. Smart, straightforward, and entertaining, The Male Room is the show that helps men take charge of their health without the jargon.
