But there's a logo, national truck appreciation week

They have shirts and hats and mugs that
kind of thing that you can buy. I
assume you're getting them as a company and
you'd give them out to your drivers or
you know, whatever you're doing staff in the
office. No idea.

But you can do that. And so that's
all great. Because we know we love the
American Trucking Association, nobody does more for trucking.
Right?
So when you look at the bot, I
can't even believe I barely saying this stuff.
When you go to the bottom of the
page, there are sponsors for national truck driver
appreciation week, and there's like gold level and
civil, there's different levels of sponsorship.

These 2 companies have single handedly done so
much damage to trucking,

mean, it just doesn't happen.
They have done so much damage to trucking.

So many drivers have been run out of

And I know of many of them. They've
written to me, many drivers they'll send me
their videos because apparently, you can go online
and look at your videos which I never

Sam, any camera driver, if it's driver facing
camera in your cab,
I personally,
would recommend you don't have anything to do
with it. I wouldn't look at their videos,
wouldn't comment on them or do anything to
them.
But regardless of that,

have done so much,
then they go on there and they are
sponsoring national truck of appreciation week.
I guess the only reason they appreciate drivers
is because all the money they make, getting
drivers fired wrongly
or getting drivers you know, in some kind
of trouble or in other ways.
Because there's no really no good that they've

done from the industry,
And sure. And sure, people are gonna say,
well, mark,
some companies just use it for forward facing
camera. Okay. You don't have to have linux.
Or any of these other cameras to have
a forward facing camera.
You can have a 20 dollar dash camera
in the truck, do the same job

And for any of you,
executives or whatever that listen to this,
if you are there thinking, oh, well, mark.

Unless you have a dashcam in your car,
you are a liar. As Okay. Simple as
that, if you thought for 1 minute
that these cameras

mark the camera just or for safety, and
it makes you safer, than you'd have 1
in your car, and why don't you record
your wife driving around and go criticize her
at the end of the day and see
how that goes for you.

People like me and drivers that have been
driving a long time.

We know that we've been driving all these
years without the assistance of cameras and all
these other aids that they have in trucks
like all these lane keeping and all these
radars and all that. And so we don't
have any problem with it. And then younger
people that come in,
you know, they want that stuff.
And that's

They are asking for it? Hey. Why isn't
what about this? Do they have this?
What about this kind of technology? No. How
about this? Drive the dang truck?

There was just an accident I was just

reading about a truck. Another truck. This happens
more often than you would think.
Has an accident and is dangling off and
overpass, and there's a picture of it. Now
the truck is still up there, but when
it went over the overpass the driver was
ejected out of the truck.
No
seat belt.
So I am gonna encourage you to wear

a Seat belt, and this is just like
the
the T thing. Do I think it should
be the law? No.
Do I think you should wear it? Yes.
But I give you the freedom to not
wear it because remember, if you don't have
a choice, you don't have freedom.
So without choice, there's no freedom. So, yes,
you get a choice, but then,
You have to accept the consequences that you

might die in an accident that you could
otherwise live through. Because the truck really didn't
have them much damage on it, it was
just hanging in a weird way, and the
driver was ejected right out, and they commented
no seat belt.
So sorry about that to that driver.
But you gotta have freedom.
