In 2004 21 year old Maura Murray left her dorm room at UMass, withdrew all $280 left in her bank account, purchased some alcohol and drove to northern New Hampshire. Around 7 pm she lost control of her car and ended up in a snowbank. Witnesses offered help but she begged them not to call 911. Sometime in the 7 minutes a witness saw her and when the police arrived she vanished and has never been seen or heard from again. This case is as fascinating as it is frustrating and tragic. Listen along as we discuss the days leading up to her disappearance and theories about what happened to this promising young woman. Music by Gioele Fazzeri from Pixabay.
