Ananta Ripa Ajmera (00:07):
Welcome back
to the True to Yourself
podcast.
My name is Ananta Rita Ajimera, and I'm so happy to be joined
today by George Lisos, who isthe author of Protect Your
Light, a practical guide toenergy protection, cleansing,
and cutting cords.
It's a really empowering guidefor empaths, especially to be
(00:32):
able to really protect ourselvesas we go through different
situations in life andespecially in the digital scene.
It's really unique to have thiskind of a resource for how to
protect our energy, especiallywhen we are interacting and
engaging online.
So, welcome, George.
So wonderful to have you today.
George Lizos (00:54):
Thank you so much
for having me, Ananta.
It's such a pleasure to havethis uh chat with you.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (00:59):
Thank you so
much.
So I'd love to dive right in.
What is energy protection andhow do you define it?
George Lizos (01:07):
So the way that I
define energy protection in
Protect Your Light is thatenergy protection is the art of
being energetically authentic.
It's about ensuring that what'sours is ours and what's theirs
is theirs.
Essentially, it's aboutcreating a boundary between us
and the external world so thatwe choose what comes into our
energy field.
In other words, if we don'tspend the time to consciously
(01:30):
and daily and consistentlyidentify, cleanse, and shield
our energy, then we run the riskof allowing other people's
thoughts, emotions, and behaviorto affect ours.
And at some point, we end upthinking other people's
thoughts, feeling other people'semotions and behaving in ways
that are not in alignment withwho we really are and following
essentially other people'spurpose.
(01:52):
So when we take the time totune in and protect our energy,
then we ensure that whatever'scoming from us is truly coming
from us and it's not coming fromall the other external
energetic attachments.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (02:04):
That's
amazing.
I've definitely experiencedthat of absorbing energy that is
not my own or was not my own.
And I wonder how would youguide someone who's new to
understanding this concept, evento know whether your energy has
been infiltrated by someone orsomething from the outside?
George Lizos (02:25):
That's a great
question.
Now, if you're a completenewbie, just start by being
mindful with how you feel momentto moment.
So let's say, for example, you've just woken up in the
morning and you're gonna go towork.
Notice how you feel when you'vechanged the environments.
You're at home, and then maybeyou're in the car, and then or
maybe you're in the tube, likein the metro or in a train, or
(02:46):
maybe then you arrive at work.
So notice how your emotionalstate shifts from the diff from
space to space and frominteraction to interaction.
Because the way that yourenergy shifts, and by energy, I
really mean emotion here, is theway that you're affected by the
by the by the external world.
Let's say, for example, you gointo a room and then immediately
(03:07):
you feel drawn to certainpeople, and then like you feel
appalled from like certaindifferent people, and you know
exactly where to go, where tosit, who to talk to.
That's you interacting withenergy.
So by starting to be mindful ofwhat's changing within us, we
can get a sense of, oh, okay, somy energy dropped.
I'm feeling a little bitdifferent, a little bit worse
(03:28):
than I felt before.
That means something hasshifted energetically within me.
Maybe I picked up some kind ofenergetic attachment from a
person or from a space.
And by spaces, I also meandigital spaces, because digital
spaces are also spaces.
If you spend like 10 minutes onFacebook and then suddenly you
feel like really monkey withwacky within, then that is the
(03:49):
energy of the ethericattachments within the digital
sphere, the landscape affectingyou.
So that is the easy way to getstarted.
Now, if you're a little bitmore advanced, and what I teach
in the book, I guide you throughthe first step of the process,
which is all about turning onyour psychic vision, which is a
(04:10):
fancy way of saying your innereye, your inner vision, and just
tuning in and scanning yourbody and your energy field to
identify all the differentenergetic attachments that I
talk about in the book and howthey are cluttering your
energetic field so you can clearthem.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (04:28):
That's
amazing.
Really, really helpful.
And you know, it's reallyinteresting that you mention
different kinds of energyshields and protection that are
connected with the five greatelements because in Ayurveda, we
work a lot with earth, water, fire, air, and space and ether,
(04:49):
basically, as another word forspace, to be able to balance
ourselves at all levels,physically, emotionally,
psychologically.
So I loved reading in your bookabout how we can work with
these same five elements on anenergetic level and an emotional
level to really protectourselves and to cleanse
(05:10):
ourselves, to transmute, youknow, the energy that is coming
in.
Can you talk a little bit aboutthe connection of between
energy protection and the fivegreat elements?
George Lizos (05:22):
I would love to
talk about that because I'm so
passionate about teachingearth-based energy protection
practices.
I believe that Mother Earth,Gaia, she's the OG energy
protector.
She's been here for 4.5 billionyears.
She's seen it all, she'ssurvived it all.
We've been here for a hundred, like a few hundred thousand
years, a blink of the eyes inthe earth's timeline.
(05:44):
I, my first degree was ingeography.
So I studied the earth'spractices from a like scientific
level.
And what my teachers alwaystaught me is that it's not
really about saving planetEarth, it's about saving the
human race.
Because planet Earth willsurvive.
She has practices to cleanseout the impurities and
revitalize herself and findbalance.
(06:05):
We are those impurities if welet ourselves be that.
And we've been doing so.
We've been doing a great job atdestroying ourselves by
destroying the earth.
Because look what happened in2019.
COVID happened, wiping us out,essentially.
So the earth is always gonnatry, strive, and success,
succeed in finding her balance.
(06:26):
So it's very important to, aslight workers, to lead the way
away from distracting ourselvesvia distracting the earth, to
partnering up with the earth andworking with the earth's
elementals and the five elementsto help create heaven on earth
and therefore create heavenwithin us as well.
So in Protect Your Light, Italk a lot about how to partner
(06:49):
with the earth and work with theearth's cleansing and shielding
qualities to cleanse and shieldour own selves.
I also make the point to talkabout how we have all the power
we need to protect ourselves, our physical bodies, which are
made out of the earthessentially, and all the five
elements, our own bodies are allthe tools we need to cleanse
(07:14):
energy, to give intuitivereadings, to do whatever we want
in the energetic world.
All these different spiritguides and tools that we use are
complementary to our ownprotection power.
So by working with the earth,by connecting with the five
elements, we remind of our ownpower in protecting and clearing
(07:34):
and shielding energy.
So I have processes about usingwater and working with the
water mermaids, which is a fancyway of saying with the spirit
of water, or working with fireand the fire dragons, or with
the air and the air silks, orworking with the ether, space,
as you call it, and theunicorns, or working with the
(07:56):
earth element, of course, andtherefore working with the tree
dryads and the gnomes, and justbringing all these earth
frequencies into our energyfield to create protection and
to create this sense of safetywithin ourselves and within our
planet.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (08:13):
That's
amazing.
And I also really appreciatedhow you kept bringing this point
up throughout your book abouthow it's ultimately through the
power of intention that we healourselves, that we shield
ourselves, that we protect ourenergy from ill for ill
infiltration or attack from theoutside.
(08:36):
So, can you just highlight thatpoint a little bit more for
listeners about how important itis to really remember that it's
us that has the power to beable to put into practice this
whole protection mechanism?
George Lizos (08:52):
Yes.
What energetic and spiritualnewbies have a hard time
understanding is that all energywork is, is using your
intention to manipulate energy.
So when you're using, let'ssay, for example, a wand to do
like a spell, for example, orany kind of tool like your
crystal or your sage bundle or aPalo Santo, it's not the smoke
(09:14):
that does the clearing.
Yes, the smoke has something todo with it, but it's the
intention that the smoke isclearing your energy that's
clearing your energy.
If you want, you don't have touse any tools and just focus
your intention on clearingthings and you're clearing
things.
Now, intention manipulatesenergy, and every single person
expresses their intention indifferent ways.
(09:36):
Some people are visual, theylike seeing things and
visualizing and things changingand shifting and seeing
frequencies and spirit guidescoming in and performing like a
psychic surgery.
Other people, they they likespeaking out the works.
And by saying a mantra, youthen you create cleansing and
you create protection.
Other people are just they theyfeel so that they want to feel
(09:57):
the energy around them.
Other people just want to writeit down or just demand it like
with their their thoughts.
So it's really important offinding our own ways of
expressing our intention.
And why not bring it alltogether if you like combining
different practices?
That's why in Protect YourLight, I share so many different
tools and different tools atthe same time, because I want
(10:21):
people to find what works forthem.
You don't have to use everysingle tool in there, it's
impossible to do so.
I wrote the book and I daily, day in, day out, I go with my
with three different tools fromthe book.
And I've been using themconsistently for years.
And I don't switch to differentones.
Sometimes I do if I'm inspiredto, but usually I stick to the
ones that work best for me.
(10:41):
So do what's best for you, findyour own way of relating to
energy and manipulating energy, and that's how you start
mustering it.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (10:51):
Very
interesting.
So I think what was interestingalso in the book was that some
of the techniques may be thingsthat people are already doing,
but may not know that they'reactually energy protection
tools.
For example, I love the breathof fire.
It's a yogic pranayamapractice, which I have been
doing not consistently, but Iknow it and I have embodied it.
(11:16):
So I feel like, oh, great.
So when I'm in a situationwhere I'm experiencing energy
that needs some fire element totransform it, I can, you know,
use this and I already know it.
And then I loved that youtalked about you working with
crystals and working withessential oils because we do
work with essential oils, especially in Ayurveda, and just
(11:39):
the sense of smell itself isvery grounding for our energy
and brings us into the presentmoment.
So I really appreciated thefact that people may already be
doing these things, but not knowthat these are ways to protect
ourselves from feeling attackedby someone else's strong energy
(12:01):
coming at us.
Can you talk a little bit aboutthat?
George Lizos (12:04):
Yes.
And another one that's so easyto use is what I call in the
book the unicorn shower.
So whenever we are showering, like because we all shower
daily, it's visualizing again, using our intention to allow the
water flowing through us to notjust wash our physical body,
but also wash our energeticbody, wash our chakras and the
seven layers of our aura, andjust allow this energy to
(12:28):
completely cleanse us andrejuvenate us.
And the reason I call it aunicorn shower is because we
call upon the unicorns who areelementals of the element of
spirit.
And the way that I seeunicorns, they are spiritual
extensions of our soul.
It is our soul essentiallymanifesting in the form, in the
portrayal of a unicorn, just sowe can have a more direct
(12:49):
communication with it.
And then asking this highestversion of ourselves that
manifests as a unicorn to fillthe water in our shower with the
rainbow ray, which is a highvibrational frequency of light,
and then allow that rainbow raywith the water to wash over our
body and cleanse whatever it iswe've attracted in our day.
(13:11):
Another practice is the candlecleansing.
So I have a candle with meright here so I can demonstrate
it.
So you basically get yourcandle.
Now, the flame of the candle isa fire elemental, the
salamander.
Okay, and it has been definedlike that, like for eons.
And then you just consciouslyconnect with the element of fire
and you can call upon theoversoul of fire to come in and
(13:35):
ignite the energy within thiscandle, and you can visualize
bonfires and lava and the sunand the the warmth and the fire
within you.
So you're finding the essenceof fire, the oversoul of fire.
And then once you've done so,you connect with the specific
fire elemental within thiscandle and ask it to cleanse
your energy at the end of theday.
And you uh candle showeryourself by by scooping your
(13:59):
hand around, getting this warmthand with your intention,
getting it and washing it aroundyour energetic field.
I do this usually at the end ofmy day because I love candles
and I make these myself so it'sextra special.
And and it has like essentialoils of rose.
So at the same time, I'mgetting the essential uh, sorry,
the the the power and thefrequency of the rose within my
(14:20):
energy field.
And I'm not only clearing myenergy, I'm also infusing my
energy with the energy of roses.
So I'm both cleansing andshielding at the same time.
It's a wonderful practice toend your day with.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (14:34):
That's so
amazing that you shared that
because I grew up visiting theHindu temples in the community
where my parents live.
And in the Hindu temples andthe Vedic spiritual tradition,
we do something called Arti, which I've written about in my
book, The Way of the Goddess, where we're basically offering
(14:56):
the light of a lamp or a candleto a certain deity in a circular
motion.
And then what happens afterthat is the priest actually goes
to each of the devotees in thecommunity, and we actually are
taught to take our hand over thefire, just like you were
showing, and put it over ourhead.
George Lizos (15:18):
Exactly.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (15:19):
So it's
actually like part of the
worship ritual that we have.
But I had never ever thought ofthat as being an energy
protection or cleansing orshielding practice.
George Lizos (15:32):
Here's the thing
new age practices are really old
age practices that we're justrediscovering because there's
look at you, like you'repracticing the way of the
Ayurveda and like Hindugoddesses.
And I'm a Greek pagan priest,so I draw from the ancient
Greek.
So through two differentcultures, practicing similar
practices.
So it's amazing how we how wewe go back and look to our
(15:55):
ancestors for this kind ofguidance and we are resurfacing
and rebirthing essentially theold way.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (16:01):
Yeah, yeah,
no, that's really amazing
because yeah, you do come from adifferent tradition, but it's
the exact same thing, basically, what you're showing.
And that's so cool.
Can you tell us a little bitabout your background and what
brought you to learn all ofthese energy cleansing and
shielding techniques?
George Lizos (16:21):
Yeah, well, I'm
gonna take you back to when I
was 13 years old, or even beforethat, growing up in a little
island in the Mediterranean,Cyprus is where I'm from and
where I'm currently based.
And growing up, I was alwaysvery sensitive.
I was always sensitive toenergy and to plants and to
nature and to the earth, verydifferent from other kids my
age.
(16:42):
So from a very young age, I hadthis sense of I'm weird.
I stand out, and therefore Ihave to work hard to fit in, and
therefore I have to changemyself to fit into other
people's stereotypes.
So I learned how to peopleplease from a very early age.
And then growing up, doing thisand getting really good at
changing myself, at 13 yearsold, I realized that I was gay.
(17:05):
At a time and in a country thatwas very homophobic, that gay,
being gay was had been legalizedonly a few years before.
So it was a huge taboo to be acertain way.
I didn't even know what it was.
But as soon as I realized, I'mlike, there's no way I can
accept this about myself.
So I put myself through helltrying to change me from gay to
(17:30):
straight, trying to monitor theway I walked and the way I
talked and the way I expressedmyself, denying my nature.
Two years of this, I was such awreck emotionally,
psychologically, physically.
I reached such a lowpsychological point.
And I'm like, you know what?
I try to change, I can'tchange.
What is the point of living?
(17:50):
And that's when I had my lowestmoment when I decided to take
my own life.
And it was in that moment, right before I did it, that I
had an epiphany that changedeverything for me and got me on
this path.
And that epiphany was you knowwhat?
Fuck what people think, fuckwhat society thinks, and just
learn to love and acceptyourself exactly as you are.
(18:12):
And I had no idea how to dothat because all I knew was
judgment and self-loathing andbullying myself and from others
as well.
But my willingness to changeand to learn to love myself
opened me up to all thesedifferent spiritual tools.
And then step by step, Ilearned how to forgive myself,
(18:32):
how to forgive my bullies, howto love myself, and I got onto a
spiritual path of healing andgrowth and transformation.
Years later, I realized thatessentially what I was doing, I
was teaching myself how toprotect my energy.
Because had I knew how toprotect my energy back then, I
wouldn't have to go through allthis hell and go to that low
(18:53):
psychological point because Iwould know how to maintain
boundaries between other peopleand myself.
What's my thought, what's theirthought, what's my emotion,
what's their emotion, andmaintain my energetic
authenticity.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (19:08):
Wow.
Yeah, that's amazing.
And what would you say beingtrue to yourself means to you?
I know you just described anincredible moment in your life
where you were true to yourself.
And how has that evolved foryou over time?
And how are you practicing thatnow?
George Lizos (19:27):
For me, it has to
do with tuning into my the
energy of my soul.
And I consider our hearts to bethe doorways of our soul.
So whenever my energy is clear, wherever we clear our energy
and we find alignment with whowe really are, because that's
why that's the whole point ofenergy protection, is to bring
ourselves into a state of beingat home with ourselves and with
(19:48):
the world.
It's alignment.
Okay, so when we findalignment, then our truth comes
forth.
So for me, leading this pathhas to do with maintaining
clean, pure energy so that I cancommunicate with my soul's
musings, essentially, hear whatmy soul wants me to do, and then
(20:09):
follow the guidance.
And it's it showed me a path ofwriting three books and
starting podcasts and teachingcourses.
And you know what?
It's a humbling experiencebecause you never know what's
going to come next.
You think you're a certain way,and then something happens and
you're taking a whole differentpath.
Last week I started a newpodcast that I never thought I
(20:32):
could uh could start, which is agay sex and relationships
podcast, completely different towhat I'm doing, but actually
not, because it's taking me backto my beginning, to how I
wanted to help gay men findfulfillment and find happiness
and stop limiting themselveswith different stereotypes.
But I I went down a differentpath and I thought, you know
(20:53):
what, that is my path.
And then all of a sudden I'mhaving an epiphany.
I'm like, okay, but if I wasn'tconnected to my soul, I
wouldn't have heard this calland I would have suppressed it
and stayed on the same path.
Does that make sense?
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (21:09):
Yeah, wow,
wow.
So it's just expansion andbeing open to whatever kind of
life brings our way.
George Lizos (21:17):
Exactly.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (21:18):
That's so
interesting.
Another interesting point thatyou talk about in your book is
about whether we even need tohave energy protection and
whether that's feeding intofear-based beliefs, right?
Because some people don'tbelieve that it even exists.
Like if we believe that we areall one and we are all part of
(21:40):
the source, then what is thereto fear in terms of outside
influences?
Because they are just amanifestation of that one soul.
So, how do you respond to thisidea?
George Lizos (21:52):
Yeah, great
question.
So there are two schools ofthought when it comes to energy
protection.
As you said, one school is likethere is no such thing, there's
no need for energy protectionbecause then you're buying into
this fear, and therefore you'reattracting attack if you're
believing that you need toprotect yourself.
Because when we are one andwhen we experience our oneness,
(22:13):
nothing can attack us.
And then there's the otherschool of thought that says, you
know what, if we need toprotect ourselves, like people
are out to get us, and we needto find a way to like stay
protected.
I believe in both schools ofthought, and I believe that
there is a balance there.
And here's a balance.
Yes, it is true that when weare in alignment with who we
(22:34):
really are through our spiritualpractice, nobody can hurt us
because we have naturalenergetic defenses that protect
us when we are in alignment.
That being said, we are alsohuman.
That means we have emotionsthat are different from just
love and happiness and joy andbliss and euphoria, and
(22:57):
therefore the emotions that wehave when we are in alignment.
So when shit happens in lifeand we lose ourselves and we uh
we stray away from home and weget out of alignment, then we
need energy protection tools tobring ourselves back home.
All energy protection is thereare practices that help us find
alignment, which assures ournatural energetic protection.
(23:22):
If we were meant to just belove and light and be totally in
alignment, we wouldn't havebeen born in the first place.
We chose to be born into aworld of egos, into a world of
polarity, into a world that hascontrast so that we can play
with one another.
So we're just using and workingwith our own physicality, with
(23:46):
our own double nature, with ourown duality rather than denying
it.
And I feel that there is aschool of thought in the
spiritual community that theydeny the physical nature.
And it's all about oneness, oneis one is one is one.
I'm like, yes, that's greatwhen you are there, but what
happens when you're not?
(24:07):
Not all of us can go and bemonks and just be in this total
constant space of bliss all thetime.
Many of us are families andhave desires and we we mix with
one another, and and stuffhappens that upsets us.
And we interact with peoplethat sometimes they are in their
ego, sometimes we are in ourego.
How do we negotiate this?
(24:27):
So these are tools that we canuse to negotiate that.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (24:33):
Very
interesting.
And I'm curious if you have anyguidance around how people can
deal, say, with dark entities orwith a feeling of you know,
like I've I've heard the storybasically of someone who got
taken over by their connectionwith a certain goddess, and it
(24:58):
was a really sad story becausein the end they ended up getting
taken over and they took theirown life.
And they, I think, might havethought that it was like a
sacrifice to this deity orsomething, but I know that some
of these things can happen topeople and it can get a little
confusing where the dark energyjust takes over a person.
(25:24):
It's not their own, it's comingfrom something external, but
it's quite a scary thing.
So I'm just curious if youcould talk about it and talk
about how your energy protectiontools or your practice could
support that, or how do you knowwhen that has happened to
someone?
George Lizos (25:43):
Yes.
So in Protect Your Light, Italk about spirit attachments.
And therefore, when externalspirits, whether it's a deity or
whether it's a different typeof spirit, attaches to our
energetic field.
Now, there are different levelsof that.
Okay.
A spirit attachment isdifferent from a demonic
possession, for example.
When we're talking aboutdemonic possession, and
therefore we have inhumanspirits taking over, there are
(26:06):
usually three stages.
It's the infestation processwhere they're messing with our
thoughts and we're hearingthings.
It's the oppression stage, thesecond stage where they're
moving things in the house andwe see really like supernatural
phenomena happening and itbecomes really intense.
And the aim of that is toexhaust us energetically until
they possess us, which is uhstep number three.
(26:26):
Now, spiritual possession isvery rare.
I've never witnessed it in myin my life, and I've spoken with
many other people who do thiskind of work, and it's a very
rare phenomenon.
What is not rare though isinfestation and oppression.
I see it almost weekly now withmy one-on-one clients, where
they come and they're hearingthings or things are moving in
(26:49):
the house, and it's a matter oflike infestation or oppression.
So essentially what we need torealize is whatever we attract
into our lives is has to be avibrational match to our own
kind of energy.
And the interesting thing here, the key word here is there's
the our consistent vibrationalfrequency.
If we're consistently on a lowvibe state, then we're gonna be
(27:13):
a vibrational match to low-levelspirits and low-level energies
in general.
So the best way to protectourselves from spirit
attachments is to maintain aconsistent positive vibration
within our house and within ourown body.
That's why it's important tohave a daily spiritual practice
and a daily energy protectionpractice because it's your way
(27:35):
of tuning in and clearingyourself and maintaining a high
vibe state so you don't attractthese kinds of spirits.
So it's it's very in the book.
I share a seven-step process oftaking ourselves through this
journey of connecting with theearth and connecting with our
protection power, identifyingwhat's there, clearing it,
(27:56):
shielding ourselves, creatingdifferent shields around us that
protect us from this kind ofspirit.
And also part of this processis scanning and identifying what
type of spirit attachment maybe in your energetic field and
how to protect yourself from it.
And I also shared about thevulnerabilities.
There are many things that makeus vulnerable to this kind of
supernatural phenomena, such as,for example, excessive drinking
(28:19):
or eating or obsessive thoughtsabout anything, they create
vulnerabilities within us.
And there's way more than thatthat I talk about in the
beginning of the book, actually.
So when it comes to spiritattachments, we can have a
spirit attachment of someone whoused to live and now is like a
ghost, for example, who passedover.
(28:40):
It could be a spirit from theastral world, it could be an
elemental kind of spirit, itcould be a demonic spirit.
It could also be an objectattachment, which is a charged
object that someone has given usthat has some kind of energy
that attaches to us.
Think about Harry Potter andhow in the second movie Jeannie
(29:00):
uh had this Tom Riddle diarythat was a charged object,
essentially, that was a proxyfor Voldemort.
So she did the object hadaccess to her energy.
That is an example of an objectattachment.
So when we are aware of this, then we know how to recognize
them.
But what I really wanted tomake sure was that people don't
(29:22):
get scared with these kind ofthings.
So I keep the the the quoteunquote negative part of the
book brief because the longer wewe spend time thinking about
this kind of stuff, the more weattract them.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (29:35):
So it's
focusing our energy, so not to
stay in these kind of darkerspaces or thinking about these
things too much, but just tryingto keep our thoughts onto the
higher.
George Lizos (29:49):
Exactly.
And the most important thing todo so is to have a daily energy
protection practice because ifthe energy pile up, then it's
gonna be harder for us to clearit.
Like for those people who whoare clearing their energy for
the first time, it's gonna be along session of doing so.
And by the way, I have afreebie for everyone.
(30:10):
So when you when people orderthe book, if they go to
protectyourlightbook.com, whenyou enter the order number, then
you're gonna get a freeworkshop, a two-hour workshop
with me, where I guide youthrough the process of turning
on your psychic vision, scanning, and identifying.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (30:29):
Wow.
Yeah, that's that's reallyhelpful, really, really
important and interesting.
What is the role of mantras inenergy protection?
And can you explain how theywork?
George Lizos (30:42):
Of mantras.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (30:43):
Uh-huh.
George Lizos (30:44):
Yes.
So mantras is basically anotherway of using our intention to
create energy and to manipulateenergy around us.
So if you have a mantra such asI'm safe and protected,
instantly, when you feelvulnerable to energy attack, you
can say a mantra to instantlybring yourself back home, to
instantly create a shield aroundyou.
(31:05):
So instead of visualizing ashield, you can tell yourself
that you know what?
The violet flame, I'm gonnaactivate it as soon as I say a
mantra.
And you can say like a littleprayer like, I turn on the
violet flame around me and allowit to transmute all negative
energy.
So you're saying this mantra, this kind of affirmation that
activates the energy that youwant to create around yourself.
(31:27):
And it's great to have mantrasbecause they're easy to
remember.
And instantly, as soon as wesay them, we we feel a sense of
connection within us.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (31:38):
Yeah, yeah,
I think it's really, really
powerful because I thinksometimes even like black magic
spells, for example, they oftenoperate with words, right?
George Lizos (31:49):
Yes, they operate
with words.
It's basically other people'sintentions that are stronger
than our intentions.
So all black magic is, is weare vulnerable because we
believe in it, first of all, andbecause their intention in them
hurting us is stronger than ourintention in us feeling
(32:11):
protected.
And that's why energyprotection feeling protected is
like a muscle.
So the more you do it, the moreyou affirm that I'm safe and
protected, this the the moreprotected you are, and the less
other people or entities areable to affect you.
Let me tell you really quicklyof my my encounter with a
demonic entity.
(32:31):
So a few months ago, I waswatching the conjuring, the
movie.
And then I'm like, hmm, I dothis kind of work, and then I
never had an interaction with ademonic entity.
I should do some research intoit because it's my kind of work.
So I called it in essentially.
And then a week later, Istarted having nightmares.
(32:53):
Whereas in my dreams, I wouldbe visited by this spirit, which
I recognize as a demonicentity, and I would get scared
or attacked by it night afternight after night.
On the third night, shit gotreal because I was sleeping and
I was having this nightmare ofthis man who was the entity
chasing me.
And then it managed to catch meand then it leaned over and bit
(33:15):
me on my belly.
In that moment, I woke up, Ijumped out of bed, searing pain
on my stomach.
I pull my t-shirt up and I seea bite mark with blood on my
stomach.
And I'm like, okay, this is theobsession, by the way, stage of
like, okay, this is not real.
So I'm like, it's time to callupon the seven-step process of
(33:39):
my book and just pass this away.
I realized in that moment thatmy belief in this spirit hurting
me was stronger than my beliefin my protection.
So there was something withinme, and this is something that I
took in in Protect Your Life, which is really important.
It's really important to do theinner work to identify the
fears and the limiting beliefsand the traumas that are
(34:01):
creating an opening, that arecreating a vulnerability,
because energy work is notenough.
We then have to go within andsee, okay, what within me has
drawn has drawn this in.
What limiting belief within mecreated this energetic
vulnerability?
So I went within and like, okay, this is what's happening.
I can see the sphere that'scoming up, and I need to work on
(34:22):
it.
And I worked on it.
But in the moment, I used amantra.
I strengthened my belief in myprotection by telling to this
entity, get the fuck out of mybody.
I am in control of my energy, you are not allowed in, and
being assertive.
So I used a mantra, but bydoing so, I strengthened my
belief in my protection, so muchso that nobody could mess with
(34:47):
me.
And it was gone.
I never thought of it before.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (34:54):
That I mean,
that's quite an experience to
just out of the blue wake up andhave you know blood on your
stomach after having this wholeencounter.
I mean, I have had oneencounter with a living being
who didn't have great intentionstowards me.
So I can experientially totallyaffirm what you're saying that
(35:16):
it was, I didn't know thisvocabulary to say it, but I
intuitively now can see how I,with the mantras, with my
continuous practices ofspiritual practice and you know,
repetition and consistency, Ijust built up my protection so
much that it was more than whatthey could, you know, bring me
(35:39):
down with.
And I can totally see how thatwhole thing works and how it
does destroy these evil spiritsand evil intentions in other
people, even through the powerof also not coming from anger or
revenge or giving them backanything that they're bringing
(35:59):
in, but just let me be thelight, let me, you know, affirm
the light, let me transmute outany negativity or darkness
coming in, and let it just belight for them, also.
And I think that's also reallyimportant because if we feel
like we're battling somewherewith someone else's energy,
(36:21):
right?
Or their evil intentionstowards us, their desires to
hurt us for whatever reason, usually out of jealousy, then
we're going to be moreempowered, I feel, to continue
on with the journey.
Otherwise, it's too exhausting.
It's really, really draining totry to fight an energy vampire
(36:41):
with hatred and revenge.
Would you agree?
George Lizos (36:44):
Yeah, it just
amplifies their the hurt and
their attachment becausewhenever someone is feeling
jealous or or we and we'reinvolved with that and we're
feeling that and we're allowingthat, that means we have
energetic force that I talkabout in the book, the toxic
energetic force of attachment.
So the more we perpetuate thisfighting by by giving it back,
(37:06):
the more we strengthen thatenergetic cord and allow that
energy to multiply.
So in those moments, it's justthe wiser thing to do is to just
cut those chords and let it go.
Many people are like, oh, cutthe chords and send them love.
But sometimes sending them lovecreates another chord that
allows them to send energy backin.
It's not about sending love,it's just being really assertive
(37:27):
and saying, you know what, stayaway.
There's no love coming here, just stay away.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (37:33):
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's so true.
Because it's that which createsmore chords.
And eventually I do feel thoughthat it's important to clear it
with forgiveness and love.
But I feel that that's part ofthe longer journey.
That's part of like you're veryfar away from the direct
(37:54):
situation and you know thatyou're safe and out of harm's
way, then I feel that kind ofdeeper forgiveness and sending
them love also is a way forhaving closure.
But it is a good point thatyou're making to not get caught
in that trap or that illusion, which can create more chords and
(38:14):
more of an attachment to thatparticular person or entity.
So yeah, I really appreciateand resonate with that.
George Lizos (38:22):
There are
short-term practices and there
are long-term practices.
The short-term practice is, youknow what, be assertive in the
moment.
And then once the emotion hasdissipated, then you can do your
forgiveness a year down theline, a few months down the
line, in your full moon, burn itaway and let them go.
Ananta Ripa Ajmera (38:40):
Yeah, yeah.
Wow.
It's so, so amazing to learnthese things.
I really appreciate what you'redoing to empower empaths,
especially, because it's so easyfor us as empaths to just
absorb, like a sponge, otherpeople's emotions and fears, and
insecurities, and jealousies.
And more than ever today, Ifeel we really do need to
(39:04):
protect ourselves and be able toshare this ability to do so
with other people.
So, where can people find yourbook and you and the ability to
