Greetings all, welcome to another installment of The Wrestling Tapes, no wait I mean another episode of We Just Want To Talk About Wrestling, no wait .. it's The Tubi Tuesdays Podcast! Borrowing from some of our other shows, we decided that for the next few weeks it would be Wrestlers Theme month! This week's episode our Patreon's voted for the film we'd watch with Batch curating the options. Since Body Slam (1986) won with a landslide, we figured why not make a theme leading up to the special Wedding episode next month. Anyways all four co-hosts are back and ready to rumble!
Body Slam was directed by Hal Needham, it stars Dirk Benedict, Tanya Roberts, Roddy Piper, Lou Albano, Barry Gordon, Charles Nelson Riley, Billy Barty, Sam Fatu, John Fujioka with appearances from John Astin, Afa, Sika, The Barbarian, Bruno Sammartino, Ric Flair, Sheik Al Kaissy, Alexia Smirnoff and Classy Freddie Blassie.
If you have never listened to a commentary before and want to watch the film along with the podcast, here is how it works. You simply need to grab a copy of the film or load it up on Tubi (you may need alcohol), and sync up the podcast audio with the film. We will tell you when to press and you follow along, it is that easy! Because we have watched the films on Tubi, it is a free service and there are ads, however we will give a warning when it comes up, so you can pause the film and provide time stamps to keep in sync.
Highlights include:
* Welcome to Wrestlers in Movies Month!
* Kraven sad sings!
* Tobey and Louise are here!
* We definitely talk a lot about wrestling!
* Kollin has his HR jacket now!
* Did we mention Kraven sings? Kollin may have joined in.
* What's Batch and Kollin smoking?
* Bede always finds a nerd to yell at!
* Plus much, much more!

DISCLAIMER: This audio commentary isn’t meant to be taken seriously, it is just a humourous look at a film. It is for entertainment purposes, we do not wish to offend anyone who worked on and in the film, we have respect for you all.
