Ep. 3 Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen

The book that inspired a cult-classic film – Girl, Interrupted! In 1967, Susanna Kaysen visits a psychiatrist she hadn’t seen before, after which she is put in a taxi and sent to McLean Hospital to get treated for depression. There she spends 2 years, in the ward that was famous for its clientele, people such as Ray Charles, James Taylor and Sylvia Plath.
