Speaker 1 (00:53):
If you missed, last week we talked about creating an
FAQ page for your website.
This week, we're talking abouttaking those FAQs and bringing
them into your Facebook groupbecause we could put them to use
twice.
Right?
If you haven't listened to thatepisode, pause this one, go
back to 33, listen to thatepisode and then jump back right
in with us.
Today we're diving into how toadd FAQs to rules section in

(01:17):
your Facebook group.
Now, while FAQs may not betechnically rules like that
sounds a little confusing theyare a powerful way to leverage a
Facebook tool to setexpectations, save time aka turn
on the hustle and ensure yourcustomers have answers that they
need when they need them.
And, believe it or not, theycan even have the answers to

(01:39):
these FAQs before they even joinyour group.
I'll get into that.
By the end of this episode, you'll know how to use this
feature so you can reducerepetitive questions and
streamline your group'scommunication.
Why should you add FAQs to yourrules section on your Facebook
group?
The first things first.
You can give clarity for newmembers immediately, so there's

(02:01):
a couple of opportunities forthis.
The first one is when someonerequests to join your group.
They can see all of your rulesbefore they're even accepted.
This can help them know what toexpect or prevent any confusion
.
You can even direct them toorder before they've even joined
your group.
Also, if you have membershipquestions set up where they have
to agree to the rules, therules are always displayed

(02:22):
whenever they go to request thegroup.
They're also going to see themagain amongst those membership
questions.
Next, we talked about this lastweek, but reduce repetition.
So having those FAQs pre-builtreduce the need for you to have
to answer the same questionsover and over again, and you do
so by putting them in your rulesection so you can easily access

(02:44):
them, and I'll talk about howto do that later on.
Okay, so if you completed lastepisode, you might have a ton of
FAQs complete, and maybe youdecided you don't want to add
all of those as rules.
So I'm going to highlight a fewthat I think would work well as
Facebook group rules, the firstone being how do I order?

(03:05):
That's a simple one.
You can drop your link right inthere.
What is your turnaround time?
That's a great one.
And then also, how can I trackmy order?
That could all be in one rule.
What about Tea Party specificthings?
How can I sign up to host a TeaParty or what is a Tea Party?
You could throw all of thatinto one.
Also, what is your return orexchange policy?
Maybe you want to include thisone, but hopefully people aren't

(03:27):
asking for returns or exchangesin your Facebook group, but it
could happen so you can postthat.
Also.
Custom orders this would be agreat rule on how can they order
a custom, or do you acceptcustoms and include that Google
form or embedded page on yourwebsite so they can place their
order.
Also, care instructions howshould I wash my teas that's

(03:50):
great as well.
I do recommend you keep thoseFAQs short and to the point,
though, because that rulessection does have limited space.
Okay, it's time to get to work.
So how are you going to addthese FAQs to your rules section
?
The first thing you need to dois go to your Facebook group and
then, on manage group on theleft hand side, click under

(04:10):
moderation tools and selectrules.
Then I want you to add a newrule by clicking create rule,
and then you can title your rulelike how to order turnaround
time something very short andsweet and then in that
description box, if you're doingone for turnaround time.
Your title would be turnaroundtime something very short and
sweet, and then in thatdescription box if you're doing
one for turnaround time, yourtitle would be turnaround time
and then the description in thatbox you can put my current

(04:32):
turnaround time is seven to 10days.
Time is seven to ten businessdays.
Brush orders can be availablefor an additional fee and you
can include the fee.
Please send me a message foradditional details.
And then for the variety ofother FAQs, you're going to add

(04:53):
a separate rule for each FAQ.
This will help you keep itorganized and make it easier to
reference and tag.
Then, once you're complete, make sure you save all of them
and double check to make surethat they are very clear.
Read them out loud or ask afriend to check them out to make
sure that they make sense.
So next I want you to pin therules section in the group

(05:13):
because again, these are kind ofrules.
You could have a few rules inthere, but really it's your FAQ,
so we want to pin those.
The first option is, if yourgroup allows you to pin things
like events or any currentevents, it'll always be pinned.
Or you can pin rules.
Just go up there to that pinsection or that featured section
and click edit and then you'llsee all the different options

(05:37):
there.
That's most ideal.
It's more clean, cut, it justshows all the rules.
But if you don't have thatoption, all you're going to do
is, when you go to your rulessection, copy the link at the
top of the page, create a postin your group saying like check
out all my FAQs or rules, andpaste the link.
So it'll just be a standardpost, and then you can pin that
post to the top of your group.

(06:05):
I hit on this last episode, butjust more reminders on how to
promote your FAQ rules.
So you can post a quick video.
You can create a reel or astory walking through your FAQ
rules.
If you don't want to go oncamera, it's super simple.
You can just screen record youreading through that rule, talk
over it and then scroll to thenext rule, and you can do it
that way and I recommend yourepost this video or story, like
maybe once a month for arefresher.

(06:25):
You can also include this linkto your FAQs in your auto
replies that we set up a fewepisodes ago.
You can highlight it in yourwelcome post as well, so you can
set up admin assist in Facebookto create a new welcome post
every like Friday or every 10members that you get and remind
them to review the FAQs in therules section.

(06:46):
And, more simply than that, youcan just create a post
periodically that just says havea question?
You can check out our rulessection something like that and
tag it and remind them to gocheck it out.
I really need a rankingstructure for these challenges.
Maybe I need to start that onthis episode.

(07:09):
Like from one to 10 of like youcould probably get away with
not doing this challenge, and 10is like do not do anything else
until you complete thischallenge.
Like how much do I really thinkyou need to complete this?
So if I'm thinking about thisone on a scale of one to ten of
how important it is, I would sayan eight.

(07:30):
So that's high up there.
And the reason why I am rankingthis challenge so high as an
eight is because the time youwaste trying to type out your
website or maybe you don't givethem the full explanation on
turnaround time because you'rejust replying it so often, you
are not only wasting time, butyou could be missing the mark

(07:51):
for your customer wheneveryou're not giving them the full
answers.
Your Turn Down.
The Hustle challenge this weekis to add FAQs to your Facebook
group rules section.
Don't worry about getting itperfect.
Just start with top fivequestions that you're asked most
often.
Or, if you don't have that list, you can pull from some of the
ideas I've given you.
And if you want more supportthrough these challenges and

(08:13):
work through them with a groupof other small business owners,
I highly encourage you to jointhe Product Drop Organizer Club.
You can check out all thedetails on my website on how to
join.
I'll see you next Monday foranother challenge.
