planning to build up yourFacebook group.

(00:44):

your Facebook group, thischallenge is going to change how
you manage it forever, withouteven needing to hire an
assistant.
And if you're already usingmoderation alerts, this
challenge will serve as youropportunity to go check on your
moderation alerts make surethey're still working for your

(01:12):
business, tweak them and makethem perfect.

(01:34):
Virtual Assistant, amy.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
So why should you take a gamble in looking into
this tool?
Before I had moderation alertsset up, I felt like I had to
live in my Facebook group Likeit was.
I was a prisoner of running myFacebook group, trying to keep
up with all the comments, constantly scrolling, constantly
checking notifications, tryingto keep up with posts and
conversations, so I didn't missanything important.

(02:03):
It was, quite frankly, exhausting and, honestly, it
made me not even want to be inmy own group.
Yes, I just said that, but Ithink you can maybe relate to me
at times.
But once I set up thosemoderation alerts complete game
changer.
No more worrying about keyquestions from potential
customers that I'm missing, andnow it feels like I'm leaving

(02:24):
them unread.
No more digging through poststrying to find comments of who
asked me what or I don't want tomiss out on a chance to connect
with my group members andbottom line I no longer felt
that my group was running me.
I could finally strategicallyrun it.
Facebook now works for me,pulling the most important posts

(02:46):
to the top.
My Facebook group now works forme.
I go to my moderation alertsection and it tells me directly
what I need to address firstand then I can go into the group
and scroll if I have time tocatch up.
So your challenge this weekit's time to move into action,
set up or optimize yourmoderation alerts.

(03:08):
Now.
I've actually already done afull, deep dive episode on how I
use them, how to use keywordsto track and why they're
essentially again double downingon it being a non-negotiable.
That was episode 18 of thispodcast.
So if you're thinking, okay,Amy, but how do I set these up
specifically?
Or I want to dive in deeper.
It's one of my most popularpodcast episodes.

(03:30):
Actually, go, take a listen tothat episode right after.
I kind of summarize it in thisone.
Or you can go to the show notesand click and head over
directly.
But that's episode 18 and thatwill dive deeper into moderation
alerts.
But let's walk through thebasics while I got you here.
So moderation alerts help youcatch any key phrases or words

(03:51):
or something that would signalthat they need your assistance.
You can do that throughkeywords.
You can also monitor like redflag behavior, like spam links.
You could set up a moderationalert or keyword for www.
So anytime a link is shared inyour group, you'll have first
look to see if that's animproved link that should be
being shared.
But the biggest thing is, youcan automate your engagement

(04:14):
strategy and make sure youanswer every question or comment
that is directed at you.
And, my humblest opinion, ifyou're running a group, this
tool isn't an option.
It is a requirement for thelongevity of your business.
So go into your Facebook groupsettings to find moderation

(04:34):
alerts under the admin tools andinsights, and then you can add
those keywords that align withyour business goals.
Again in episode 18, I give youa full list of keywords I
recommend you set up and thenadjust shows notification
settings to make sure you'regetting alerted.
Save it, test it and adjust itas you go along.
Also in that episode, I talkabout how you can use this for
tea parties and how helpful itis for your business.

(04:58):
Once you've got your alerts setup, I want you to screenshot
them, share them in the group tocomplete the challenge.
If If you're in the productdrop organizer club so I can
mark you off for your completionor share it on social tag me,
I'd love to cheer you on.
So I can't wait for you toimplement this.
I promise if you take 15minutes to do this today, you're
going to wonder how you evermanaged without it.

(05:19):
And don't forget, if you dowant more challenges like this,
make sure you're inside of myPDO club, because we're
constantly working on ways tostreamline your business and
free up time, ultimately turningdown the hustle.
So go, get this alert set up.
Can't wait to see yourscreenshot and I'll check in
with you next week with anotherchallenge.
