four shows and two nights essentially, and it was a
great weekend of wrestling. It's a great weekend to be
a wrestling fan. But we're gonna break it all down

We need to do a watch along and we haven't

great American bash. And I'm not gonna lie. People didn't
really probably pay attention. I thought that was a banger
after banger after banger. It didn't have the feel of
you know, evolution or all in like the impact, but
it was a good ass pl e. So yeah, see

Everybody talked about the bill to evolution being got awful.
I thought the bill to Great American Bash was ten
times worse, but this show really really cooked and delivered.
It was a solid couple hours of wrestling to open
the weekend on Saturday, for sure.

Really quick before you skip, Is this the actual official
poster of the Great Okay? But I just want to
I just want to point something out. I hear a
lot of negative things about Triple H. And I know
you're going to say, well, this is HPK. No, this
is Triple H. There are five people on this poster.
Three of them are black, two of them are females.

All I hear is a Triple H hates black people,
and he hates females, doesn't want to book any of them,
and the Great American Bash is literally filled with those
people he hates. So yeah, I just I just want
to throw it out there. I just think it's so
funny when you don't do something people like, all of

we got one jay Von Evans defeating one Jasper Troy.
I gotta say I was wrong. I predicted Javon Evans.

Yep, No, I predicted Jassper Troy. Yeah.

Oh we both we both picked yes, but we're both wrong,
is what I met.

Yeah, because because I was convinced they wanted him. They
want Jassper Troy to be a thing, considering he just challenged.

I give it a thumbs up. It was a good
way to open the show. Javon Evans man, that kid.
He's nineteen years old and he's doing things that you
know most wrestlers can even will never be able to do.

I think he does need to tone it down a
little bit because you know, when he won't, you know,
he's gonna be injured a lot by the time he's
like thirty. But he's killing it right now and he's
he's got a bright future ahead of him in n
XT in in WWE. But this match was a it
was a good way to open the show, So I
give it. I give it a thumbs up. About an

Yeah, I'm I'm about there too. It started off really slow,
which was surprising, but once Javon started getting his offense in,
it really kicked in. I give it a thumbs up
as well. I liked it. I was surprised. But the
roll up means that Jaspertroy will probably get a revenge
and then we'll do a third and yeah, it'll be
Javon Evans.

Yeah, Jeff Pertroy is no slouch either. He's he's been
really yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
I mean whatever you come from that random what is it?
LFG is LG. Yeah, I haven't watched it yet. Maybe
I need to watch it. And man, hell of a
match against Oba and now with Javon. I mean, but
Javon Russell Rady Orton, I think people forget it's true. Dude, dude,
somebody all right, next up?

We both got this right soul Ruka defense her title
against one? Is he dame? If you don't say thumbs up,
I'm about to drive to North Carolina and slap the
taste out your mouth.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
I give this to two very big thumbs up. How
you do so, Ruka, she's a stud, she's a star,
she is she is all that in a bag of
chips and more. I loved how she was much more
aggressive in this match than we normally see Soul Ruka.
But yeah, she is. She might be the best thing

going in n x T and that's you know, that
says a lot because NXC has a lot of great
things going for him with Trick Williams, Blake Monroe, you know,
j C Jane, Jordan Grace. But I think she might
be the best thing going in the women's division and
maybe in all of the n XC for sure.

And she had a hell of a weekend. We'll get
into more of her on the Evolution card, but in
this one, man her what is it called soul What
is it called soul Snatcher? That is the finisher and
all of pro wrestling. I don't care what anybody's as
this one was epic and props the Izzy day Man
not enough respect she brought it as well. The NXC
women's division is by far the strongest women's division all

pro wrestling. Sorry, aw, I love your women's division, but
this is where it's at NXT and I've been saying
it for how long now, Ryan, Soul Ruka is her.
She needs to be the World Champions soon. Hopefully she
will be. I know there's a lot of people in line,
Blake Monroe, which we'll get into, but yeah, soul Ruka
is her man. She looked good. Starting to get a
little too hippie for me now right, she's starting to, like,

I feel like she's gonna roll in with dreadlocks in
a few She's starting to really hit that. Like she
just start coming out with like a bog in her mouth.
She's like, yeah, she's do letterfool. Yeah. Oh yeah, yeah,
She's like, yeah.

No, she's She's great though, and yeah, they need to
keep pushing her. I like her in the in the
women's mid card division though, because I think she can
really you know, she can elevate it, but she can
also be elevated at the same time.

Yeah, yeah, I want to. I want to see her
keep doing her thing in the in the mid card
division for sure.

I respect that. All right? WHOA, all right? We got
one Ethan Paige surprising. I think I did predict Ethan Page.
Did you pick Ricky Saints? I forget. I think I
both picked this. Yeah, I think we both pickthan I
think we did defeating Ricky Saints to defend his title.

I give this very very big thumbs up. This might
this is probably the best match of the weekend that
nobody's talking about. This match, you know, could have made
event of the show, could have opened the show. But
this match certainly stole the show. This was the best
match all night. It was a falls County anywhere match
and it was just these two guys. They brought it.

Ethan Page got a huge victory, which I think helps
legitimize his NXT North American Championship reign. Ricky Saint will
be fine. He'll continue doing other things, maybe go after
the NXT title. Maybe he'll go enjoin the Seth Rollins faction,
which he's been rumored to do. But this was the
the match at the weekend that absolutely nobody is talking about.

This match was slept on, but it was damn good.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Bro Two huge thumbs up. Match of the night easily, man,
that table move, just everything everything outside going in. They
are just and I'm not even gonna say it because
they did this in aw so I'm not gonna be like,
oh you missed, No, this is just who they are.
I'm glad Ethan Page one and I don't know if
Ricky Saints is gonna go I mean with Seth injury

not injured, who knows he's gonna go there? Or I
would rather see him go after that main title? Man,
why not Ricky Saints versus Oba Femi? Why not Ricky
Saints being the man? I mean, I think it should
be Tony D because I love me Tony D and
I think he deserves it. But man, Ricky Saints, who
This match was just You're right, it should be talked
about and it's not, but evolution all in so much

stuff it got Satay's Yeah, it's really hard to like
get added into that, but it should be because this
might be the match of the weekend. You're right, it's close,
it's close, It's up there, it's up there, all right.
Another sleeper man, another surprise. Oba Femi defended his title
against Yoshikha and Amura and a pretty good banger man
and then they had a little conversation afterwards. Obafemi and

Josh Briggs got in their face. So maybe Josh Briggs
is next up. I'm assuming, but nonetheless, thumbs up are
thumbs down.

I give this one a very fringe thumbs up. This
match was It was good, but it for it to
follow Ethan Page and Ricky Saints, I feel like that
was kind of it was in the wrong placement. I
think they could have opened with the show with this,
They could have closed the show with this match, and
I think it would have been fine, But for it
to follow the North American Championship match the way that

it did, it was certainly, you know, just a little
bit of a letdown. Wasn't bad by any stretch. If
I had to upgrade it, I would probably put it
right at eighty percent. But oba Femi continues to impress
as NXC champion, and yeah, it looks like him versus
he's wrestling anybody. It doesn't matter who it is, he's
going after them. And yeah it looks like now he's

going after Josh Briggs. So I can't wait to see
what they do there. But yeah, very fringe thumbs up
for this match.

Yeah, I think I liked it more because it's surprised. Man.
I didn't know what to expect really, and it was
actually expectations for sure, but it didn't mean event. And
then instantly oba Femi goes and gets in Josh Briggs
face and basically starts the match instantly, just showed why
was Yoshiki in this match to begin with? Because why
wasn't it just jo Josh Briggs would have been main evented.

I'm not taking away from the blakeman Roe Jordan Grace match,
but that main evented over the World Heavyweight Championship. Kind
of weird. Why did this match happen? But nonetheless I
still give it a thumbs up. It was still he
was a one match, so.

I think this was this match was the victim of
the poor build for this show. I think if this show,
if this match had a proper build and a reason
for us to be invested, it easily could have made
evented or even opened the show. But yeah, this the
the placement was odd because the build really was That's wrong?

What was that? Dude? Man? All right? Here it is
made event time. Blake Minroe and Jordan Grace defeat Fatal Influence,
with Blake Monroe pinning the world champion Jesse Jane. Thumbs up,
thumbs down.

You know, I'm I might I think I'm gonna go
five or five, but thumbs up. This was a great
a great match. It was a great debut for Blake Monroe,
and we'll talk about what she did the following night
on Evolution. But yeah, this this match served as you know,
really fodder for Evolution. It was really like a stepping

stone to get the Evolution that really the outcome really
made no difference whatsoever. But it was a it was
a good a good debut match for for Blake Monroe.
She reminded me a lot of the of this girl
that was in a e W at one point she
was a babyface named Mariah May. I don't remember her. Yeah, yeah,

she was very she she she reminded me of the
babyface Mariah May that was, you know, kind of a
little devious at first, and and then you know when
she turned heel at Evolution, she was big time heal
time Mariah May. But yeah, this was This was a
great tag team match. She was a great didn't need
to main event, That's my only question.

I don't know.

I don't know if it really did. It felt like
it was just more it was there to put over
Evolution on Sunday, which maybe it worked, maybe it didn't.
I don't know, but this was it was a good
debut for Blake Monroe.

Bro I'm gonna say. I know, I say it all
the time. You probably get mad at me, but Blake
Monroe is the hottest thing walking this side of earth.
She is just stunning. Blake Monroe, I love you, and
she's super talented. But yeah, Blake showed out. This is
a thumbs up for me big time. I thought Jesse
Ja C Jane had a huge weekend. Yeah, it was
just this was just a good match. Jordan Grace. I

loved it. Blake pinning was weird because it did you
can really do much for we're gonna talk about an
evolution didn't really lead to that much, but I did, like,
I mean, it is what it is. But Blake wun
Rose a star. Jordan Grace the star. Fadal influence is
doing their thing. J C J. I mean, it was
all good fun. I liked it. It was fun. Main
event should have been Eathan Page and Ricky Saints. It wasn't.

It is what it is, Like you said, it probably
was the bill to Evolution, and I never once again
looked at the seating and blah blah blah, but Evolution
looked like it was pretty damn jam packed and the
crowd was I think the Evolution crowd was more into
their pay per view than anybody because all in was
flat and we'll get into that like halfway through. So

I thought evolution crowd was more into it than anybody.

So who knows. When you don't price gouge your tickets
and price your audience out, will show up. And not
only do they show up, but they show out and
you get a really good crowd. So yeah, you know,

says a lot because NXC has a lot of great
things going for him with Trick Williams, Blake Monroe, you know,
j C Jane, Jordan Grace. But I think she might
be the best thing going in the women's division and
maybe in all of the n XC for sure.

And she had a hell of a weekend. We'll get
into more of her on the Evolution card, but in
this one, man her what is it called soul What
is it called soul Snatcher? That is the finisher and
all of pro wrestling. I don't care what anybody's as

women's division is by far the strongest women's division all

this is where it's at NXT and I've been saying

She needs to be the World Champions soon. Hopefully she
will be. I know there's a lot of people in line,

is her man. She looked good. Starting to get a

I give this very very big thumbs up. This might
this is probably the best match of the weekend that
nobody's talking about. This match, you know, could have made
event of the show, could have opened the show. But
this match certainly stole the show. This was the best
match all night. It was a falls County anywhere match
and it was just these two guys. They brought it.

Ethan Page got a huge victory, which I think helps
legitimize his NXT North American Championship reign. Ricky Saint will
be fine. He'll continue doing other things, maybe go after
the NXT title. Maybe he'll go enjoin the Seth Rollins faction,
which he's been rumored to do. But this was the
the match at the weekend that absolutely nobody is talking about.

This match was slept on, but it was damn good.

Another sleeper man, another surprise. Oba Femi defended his title

I give this one a very fringe thumbs up. This
match was It was good, but it for it to
follow Ethan Page and Ricky Saints, I feel like that
was kind of it was in the wrong placement. I
think they could have opened with the show with this,
They could have closed the show with this match, and
I think it would have been fine, But for it
to follow the North American Championship match the way that

it did, it was certainly, you know, just a little
bit of a letdown. Wasn't bad by any stretch. If
I had to upgrade it, I would probably put it
right at eighty percent. But oba Femi continues to impress
as NXC champion, and yeah, it looks like him versus
he's wrestling anybody. It doesn't matter who it is, he's
going after them. And yeah it looks like now he's

going after Josh Briggs. So I can't wait to see
what they do there. But yeah, very fringe thumbs up
for this match.

Yeah, I think I liked it more because it's surprised. Man.
I didn't know what to expect really, and it was
actually expectations for sure, but it didn't mean event. And
then instantly oba Femi goes and gets in Josh Briggs
face and basically starts the match instantly, just showed why
was Yoshiki in this match to begin with? Because why
wasn't it just jo Josh Briggs would have been main evented.

I'm not taking away from the blakeman Roe Jordan Grace match,
but that main evented over the World Heavyweight Championship. Kind
of weird. Why did this match happen? But nonetheless I
still give it a thumbs up. It was still he
was a one match, so.

I think this was this match was the victim of
the poor build for this show. I think if this show,
if this match had a proper build and a reason
for us to be invested, it easily could have made
evented or even opened the show. But yeah, this the
the placement was odd because the build really was That's wrong?

made event time. Blake Minroe and Jordan Grace defeat Fatal Influence,

a great match. It was a great debut for Blake Monroe,
and we'll talk about what she did the following night
on Evolution. But yeah, this this match served as you know,
really fodder for Evolution. It was really like a stepping

stone to get the Evolution that really the outcome really
made no difference whatsoever. But it was a it was
a good a good debut match for for Blake Monroe.
She reminded me a lot of the of this girl
that was in a e W at one point she
was a babyface named Mariah May. I don't remember her. Yeah, yeah,

she was very she she she reminded me of the
babyface Mariah May that was, you know, kind of a
little devious at first, and and then you know when
she turned heel at Evolution, she was big time heal
time Mariah May. But yeah, this was This was a
great tag team match. She was a great didn't need
to main event, That's my only question.

I don't know if it really did. It felt like
it was just more it was there to put over
Evolution on Sunday, which maybe it worked, maybe it didn't.
I don't know, but this was it was a good
debut for Blake Monroe.

the time. You probably get mad at me, but Blake
Monroe is the hottest thing walking this side of earth.
She is just stunning. Blake Monroe, I love you, and
she's super talented. But yeah, Blake showed out. This is

Ja C Jane had a huge weekend. Yeah, it was
just this was just a good match. Jordan Grace. I

loved it. Blake pinning was weird because it did you
can really do much for we're gonna talk about an
evolution didn't really lead to that much, but I did, like,
I mean, it is what it is. But Blake wun
Rose a star. Jordan Grace the star. Fadal influence is
doing their thing. J C J. I mean, it was
all good fun. I liked it. It was fun. Main
event should have been Eathan Page and Ricky Saints. It wasn't.

It is what it is, Like you said, it probably
was the bill to Evolution, and I never once again
looked at the seating and blah blah blah, but Evolution
looked like it was pretty damn jam packed and the
crowd was I think the Evolution crowd was more into
their pay per view than anybody because all in was
flat and we'll get into that like halfway through. So

I thought evolution crowd was more into it than anybody.

So who knows. When you don't price gouge your tickets
and price your audience out, will show up. And not
only do they show up, but they show out and
you get a really good crowd. So yeah, you know,
