Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's two Dudes with Attitudes of Wrestling podcast with your
boy Brian Enjoys Wrestling and m WO and we are back, baby.
We took a hiatus for a week. We had some
things going on, but we are back and this is
our w w e udition. We're talking all things after SummerSlam.
That's SmackDown Raw and NXT Ryan. Are you ready?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
I am, man.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
I had a little bit of surgery. That's why we
were gone for a while, and I'm recovered. It was
not a work like Seth Rollins's injury was. I was
legitimately cooped up in a hospital bed for twenty four
hours and then I was at my own personal bed
for twenty four hours.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
So I have book.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
But I'm back now and ready to break down this
crazy week of WWE wrestling.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Yes, sir, let's do it. Let's start with SmackDown. You're
ready and we're glad you're back, and we're glad you're
healthy and nothing happened you know, well nothing happened. Serious.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Let's hit that music.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Let's go Dudes with Attitudes.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
Let's go listen to too, Dudes and attitudes ruthless aggressively speaking.
So let's do this We're brand and didn't they here
it get your attention of five star brow cans stalk
to that and whether it's the e or so the
two dudes with the attitudes of Brinnan Hay get the
point yet so on's kind of lackey. Listen to the

(01:22):
podcast when they get it popped.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Take some time off and I forget we have a
theme song.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
All right, sorry, it happens. It's our first day back.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Uh huh, uh huh. Let's get in a SmackDown. Let's go. Yeah,
I'm gonna tell you hit that music again. I'm gonna
start doing that all the time. I'm gonna eat you
back on and we're gonna have to turn the music
back on like eating. All right, let's get into it.
So SmackDown. This was the SmackDown after SummerSlam. And of
course we had rock lesson back at Oh wait, no

(02:01):
we didn't, but we did have John Cena. So let's
talk about it. I know you want to talk about
but John Cena had an encounter with one Logan Paul
and with one our Truth Ryan. I'll let you start
off with it. What did you like about our truth
Logan Paul and no Brocklestener on these people wanted him back.
They forgot who brock Lesser really was.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Yeah, that was the thing that surprised me was, you know,
we got Brocklesner at the end of Summer Slam, you know,
in the shocking return, the Return of all returns that
nobody ever saw coming, and then they don't follow up
with it at all. And John Cena once again, this
is the crap that WWE does, and it really irritates me.
John Cena turned heel and align himself with the Rock

(02:44):
at the elimination Chamber, and in his very first promo back,
he never once mentioned the Rock. He never once mentioned
Travis Scott, he never once mentioned the WWE title, He
never once mentioned anything. He just said that I turned
heel because you people were mean to me. So now
here he is his baby. He goes after brock Lesnar attacking,
and he mentioned he barely mentioned.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Brock Lesner at all in his probo.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
The only thing he said was I don't know why
anyone would choose to face brock Lesner.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
By choice, and that was it, and then he just
kind of went on his own married way.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
The fact that they didn't bring brock Lesner out is
really asinine to me.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
It makes no sense.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Apparently there's a rumor that they want to hold up
until September twentieth and doing with Lee on the same
day as aw Wall out, and that's when they're going
to do brock Lesnar. John Cena has a way to
counter program WWE. But that's all a bunch of hearsay
from the Dave Meltzers of the world. But this was
this was a miss having not I didn't mind the
Logan Paul thing, but very next plee is clash in Paris,

(03:45):
and you don't follow up with the brock Lesner stuff
like that. That's what didn't make any sense. Having Logan
Paul versus John Cena is completely fine having Logan Paul.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
You know, they have a story, they have a history.
They team together two plas.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Ago with money in the bank they lost because of
our truth and Cody rose Pin John Cena and when
Johnsena was a heel now cod now Logan Paul sees
through John Cena's bs. He thinks Johnsene is not really
a good guy. He's just going with what the people
want and just kind of do It's all a facade.
So I like the Logan Paul stuff, but doing it

(04:19):
now when you just brought brock Lesner back that that's
what was a miss to me.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Yeah, what about our Truth?

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Oh, don't get me started on that. The whole that
whole thing was fumbled.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Triple h dropped the ball in a big way on
the John Ceena heel turn, including the our Truth serious turn.
You know, we got to see a little We got
the return of the silly our Truth on SmackDown when
they did the mirror thing next to each other, and
you know, it was a funny segment. It was it
was you know, ha ha and good stuff. You know,

(04:52):
John Cena flipped it on Our Truth. It was like,
you know, you were acking weird for five months there.
You said you were going to really wrestling, and.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
You made a kid and Brussels cry, you know, haha.
Very funny.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
But the fact is is they did nothing with serious
art truth, absolutely nothing at all. He came out. He
cost johnsena the match against Logan Paul or against Cody
Rhodes and he's Cody Roads partner in money in the Bank.
I can't even remember who Cody Rose team was, but
it was Logan Paul and John Cena team and up

(05:22):
jay us when it was it jus Yeah it was Jajuso.
I think so, yeah, but yeah, so he helped ja
Uso and Cody Rhodes get the win, and then they
don't do anything with them.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
He cuts his dreads.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Off on Monday Night Raw and says that my name
is and you're gonna put some respect on my name,
and then immediately they start they keep calling him Our
Truth and then he's you know, beating up Elton Prince
of d I y wanting a few or not d
I why, but of a pretty deadly.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
He wants a mattress. He goes.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
He finally gets the match with Johnson ends in a
no contest, and then John Cena cuts the pipe bomb
on CM Punk and that's really all he was used
for was to advance Johnsen to see him punk. Then
he moves on to Alistair Black, but then that's all
to advance Damian Priest and Alistair Black and now he's
back to being silly our Truth again and did absolutely

(06:14):
nothing with that. That whole thing was completely fumbled, and
I just I don't know. I had such high hopes
that maybe Sena and Our Truth would retire together. Maybe
John Cena in Our Truth. Our Truth would play a
pivotal role in John Cena's He'll Turn and Johnsena turning
back into a babyface.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
But John Cena's babyface.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Run and Our Truth's serious run were completely squarnered by the.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Powers of baby.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Yeah, you're not wrong. And that's the thing that I
It's funny because I made a video the night of
John Cenas Hill Turn and I said this was forced,
this was not planned, so this will be wasted and
I got attacked in the comments majorly, and I was
one hundred percent right. It was a big waste of time.
And I think not only did it hurt the WWE

(07:02):
because Cody's momentum was taken away. Cody should have just
stay champion. Was the point of having him lose that belt?
They did nothing. Our Truth momentum was squandered, but so
is John Cena's. And you can tell that he didn't
give two rats about being a hell. He didn't try.
All he did was not smile. It was just a
complete blah. And I don't mind him and Logan Paul.

(07:23):
I mean, why not, right, why not have him face
each other? I mean, Logan Paul's gonna help him have
a hell of a good match. It should be a
lot of fun. But all these people crying about it,
get out of here with that, because you all were
rooting for brock Lessner. They're all saying, you're so happy
he did nothing wrong, no allegations, YadA, YadA, YadA. We're
just happy the Beast is back because he's so Oh
he's not on SmackDown. Oh fantastic. Yeah, I think you

(07:46):
guys all forgot that. You guys all hated brock Lesner.
And why did you guys all hate broc Oh, that's
right because he never wrestled. That's right, because he was
a part time where he took people's spots and main
events and title reigns. And that's right. You guys don't
because that one's so short, just like you guys, Vince
mcmahn never did anything wrong, but that was Vince smig
Mann's booking. But now Triple Ah's booking, and Triple Ah

(08:06):
is so bad. I wish because I'm just I can't
remember what happened fifteen minutes ago. All I know is
the right now. And that's the saddest part about pro wrestling.
Fans right now, But I'm not surprised Brock wasn't there.
They don't get Brock doesn't give two rats. Brock cares
about one thing and one thing only that's money. He's
no different than Goldberg. He's no different than any of
these other people who just come and go blah and

(08:26):
everyone hates a logan. Paul, who puts in the work,
shows up every day, does the time. People hate it
on jelly roll. Dude put his body on the line,
did his best. Should he have been in the match? No?
Why have singers in the matches? They could do other things.
But still he did it, and he worked his ass
off and tried. I don't understand, and he lost and
he took the l so you know what I mean.

(08:46):
So yeah, it's all just bizarre to me. And that's
my biggest thing is that I don't really care anymore.
Like this was just a cheap way to get Johns
in a seventeenth title reign, and I think that ruins
his legacy there too, because it's really just a forced
I know everything is scripted, but I mean this just
seems real, like it's like not even earned, Like I
can't even count it as a seventeenth rain because it's

(09:08):
so made up in force it's like gross. So I mean,
but we got to move forward, I guess, but it
took away my momentum. I can care less about Johnson
and now the rest of his reign until his last match,
I can care less.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Yeah, I don't care at all.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
And I thought I did think Brocklesner would have been
on SmackDown this past week because they were in Canada
and Brock westers from Canada, so I thought, for sure, like, Okay,
this makes sense, bring Brock back here for this. He
maybe F five's Johnsene again and maybe we get to
we figure out a rhyme or reason and they set
up this match, but we have to wait now, like

(09:45):
they did this at SummerSlam, which is in August, and
now we have to wait a potential a month and
a half before we get any closure on it. It's
just it's ridiculous. But I'm excited about Johnson and Logan Paul.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
For sure. I think that's gonna be a great match.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
And yeah, John Cena, I mean, Logan Paul is fantastic
and there's a story there.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
So I don't understand why people are so upset about that.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
Yeah, I agree. Well, we had a tag team match
because the main event was John Cena and Cody Roads
versus Logan Pound and Drew McIntyre. What a banger of
a main event out of nowhere, especially on an episode
of SmackDown. But I'm a little upset, and that's because
at the end of SmackDown, Drew McIntyre Claymore's Cody Rhoads
through the announced table cool spot. But now he's announced

(10:27):
as the next champion, our title contender for Cody Roads belt,
and I'm pissed off about it. And I know the
world is excited and everyone's so pumped, But if you're
gonna tell me right now that there is one percent
any chance that Drew McIntyre beats Cody Rhoads in his
first title defense, you were out of your mind. This
is another situation of why are we putting Drew here.

(10:50):
Drew is the MVP of the WWE, He's the MVP
of pro wrestling. He is the main carrier of all
that's good in wrestling nowadays. Basically, I'm debt, Like I know,
aaw is the hottest thing going blah blah blah, But
Drew is the hottest thing going. But yet all he
does is talk his way into fame, talk his way

(11:10):
into merch selles, talk his way into being the biggest
star in WWE to only lose title match after a
title match. He's like the opposite of Seamus. Shamus is
banger after banger. He's title loss after title loss after
title lost, and honestly, I think this is gonna hurt
his momentum. I think this is a bad decision. That's
just my opinion. I'm glad to see him in it,

(11:32):
but he ain't gonna win. I posted, and people are
in my comments, so he was gonna win. Trust me.
I'm like, okay, yeah, he's gonna be kivy.

Speaker 5 (11:41):
Yeah not at first I could The only thing I
could see is that they use this because I think
WWE they have to avoid a lot of the same
mistakes they made with Cody Rose's first title reign, which
is which was a bunch of random matches that nobody
gave a shit about.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
You know, AJ.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Styles and Logan Paul, just to name a few, and
then his title rerain didn't get good until the team
with Roman reigns, and then his title reraan didn't get
good until Kevin Owenstern heel. He didn't really have a rivalry,
he didn't really have a feud, he didn't really have
something to sink his teeth into.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
He always felt like the second He always felt like
the second character. He never felt like the main character
in his story. So I think if they.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
Can replicate somehow, some way that Drew McIntyre See Him
Punk feud from twenty twenty four, and make that Drew
McIntyre and Cody Rhodse in twenty twenty five, then I
think we maybe Drew McIntyre comes out of it looking
better than ever. I don't think he's gonna win the championship,
but I think, if you know, I think this could
be a.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Multi match feud.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
I think this should go on to you know, not
only Clash in Paris, but it should happen at the
PLA in September. I think it should go to Survivor series,
maybe culminates and tell them to sell somehow, just like
See Him Punk Drew McIntyre, did they control each other online?
We can we can really get that that that dastardly
Drew McIntyre back, because.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
I think he's been kind of missing and it would be.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
A good way to test Cody Rhodes as w W
champion as well, So I'm okay with it.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
I just if they do it that way.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
If it's just a random one off match and Cody
Rhodes moves on to the next opponent after this, then
this is You're right, this would be a squandered opportunity
for Drew.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Yeah. Then I guess time will tell. Uh we we
shall see. I'd rather have Drew trying to go up
against Punk right now, but that's our set. But that's
neither here nor there. All right, Well, we got a
match with one Sammy's Ain and Solo Soakoa and Sammy's
Ang gets the pin, gets the come up, it's on
the MFTs. What do you think about this? And what
do you think about Sammy Zin's direction right now? Right?

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Oh? Man, I love Sama Bro.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
Yeah, he's my my doppel ganger, my my doppel ginger,
my brother from another mother. But I'm not feeling this
underdog thing man Like I'm like, I'm a little tiired
of the underdog stick. And then he get carried it
over to Monday Night Row to where he's talking to
Adam Pierce, like, Hey, give me the shot for the
world title.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
I deserve it. I've been you know, I will win
the world titled. And I don't know. I just I'm
not really feeling the underdog shick. I don't like it
when champions get pinned, but I do. I didn't mind
him beating.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Solo Soca, you know, because it was it was in
his hometown and it was he won on like a
fluky roll up, so it wasn't like Solo looked, you know,
Solo got his ass kicked or got squashed, and.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
I was going with that.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
I just I don't know, like he's back with the
Bloodline or the the MFTs again, Like how many times
when you have we seen this few feels like it's
just Washroom's repete. It's either Jimmy Usso feuding with them,
Jay Usso feuding with them, and now Sammy's Day feuding
with them. But I'm not really feeling Sammy's direction this underdog,
Like this is the guy that's main event in WrestleMania. Uh,

(14:57):
this is a guy that dethroned the ussos. He main
evented against Roman Reigns, almost won at WWE undisputed title.
He's won the dethrown Gunther like he's far from an underdog,
and I'm just not feeling the underdog story right now.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Respect I respect that. Here's my thing. I think they
have bigger pictures for your twin brother. And I think
that he is going to either win the Rumble, which
is more likely, or win the elimination Chamber. I think
he's gonna main event WrestleMania. I think he's gonna beat
Cody Rose title. I think he is, and so I
think they need to do something with them, and they
can't just have him lose. And I think they are

(15:34):
doing the underdog thing until he beats Solo for the
US title, and then I think he's gonna have a
hell of a run, just like he did with the
IC title after he beat Gunther. And I think this time, though,
it's gonna segue into him eventually dropping it and moving
on to the world and winning the Rumble or the
elimination Chamber. And I think that's what his future holds,
and that's why I like it, because I see a
bright future. I don't see this underduct thing going on

(15:56):
for long. He's either gonna beat Solo at Paris or
the paper you after that or the PLA after that.
I think this is going to be a quick turn
around for Solo and the MFTs. And I think that
Sammy's gonna win it and have a pretty damn good raid.
That's what I'm thinking. And I think in there then
he's gonna be badass Sammy and and kick some ass
and take some names.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
So yeah, I think he just needs a I think
he needs a character change. I think he needs to
either go win the US title and go heal or
deal and you know, then we get Heal Samy's am
versus Babyface Cody Rhoades.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
He's gonna turn hell yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
So so I think they're they're going to have to
do something to get him to get just because.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
I think people are going to start turning if they
do the underdog thing.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
I think people are going to start turning on Sammy
and I don't want that to happen because I love
Sammy saying so, I think they need to give him
some sort of character change or some sort of oomph
back into Sammy.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
So turning the Meal, I think is the right moment.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Yeah, I agree fully, all right, And the last thing
we'll talk about a SmackDown had good and bad in
my opinion. One Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. They had
their championship celebration and it was probably the most awkward
program I've seen in a while. I feel like they
didn't have any script. They both just kind of came
out and wung it. They didn't know what they were saying.

(17:11):
It looked like Charlotte was gonna say something to Alexa,
and then Alexa was kept telling Charlotte like what am I?
What am I? What am I? What am I? What
are you gonna say? What are whatever? And then Charlotte
just didn't know what to say and was like, we're
not friends or what. I don't know. It was just
it dragged on forever. But the good is that the
women's tag team titles have never felt important so much

(17:34):
so that when now we have a Mercedes Money and
now we have a Naomi Heel. That's how bad it was,
because those girls just quit. The company was so bad
with the tag teams. They've never been relevant ever, And
now finally I feel like, this is the chance. You
have the tag team titles on possibly your biggest female
star in the history of pro wrestling, and a top

(17:54):
ten female star at Alexa Bliss. I mean, you got
two hitters. They can figure it out and work it
out and get the promos better. But I feel like
if they do this right, they're getting their time every week.
We can make these women tag team titles feel important
for the first time ever.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
Yeah, no, I agree, And I think the crowd seems
to be digging Alexablists.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
And Charlotte Flair.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
The audience is feeling them, and I think this is perfect.
We don't need Charlotte Flair in the main women's title picture.
You don't really need Alexa Bliss in the main women's
title picture right now. So yeah, and beck Yeah, we
don't need her Dear to the White at six at all.
And Becky Lynch is doing her thing carrying the women's
mid card scene. So I think this is the perfect

(18:39):
place for both of these women in the tag division
to kind of help elevate that division.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
So you have, you kind of have the best of
all worlds.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
You have you know, people like Naomi and Rie and
Ripley kind of carrying the women's main events scene. Then
you have you know, a legend and Becky Lynch carrying
the mid caard scene and now you have Charlotte carrying
and and Alexiblist, you know, help helping el the tag division.
And I think that's huge for the women's tag division.
But this promo was it was good. It reminded me

(19:07):
a lot of the Festival of Friendship that they did
with Chris Jericho and Yeah, Kevin Owens, I kept waiting
for something like that to happen. I was like, please, don't, like,
don't have Charlotte Flair turn on her, don't have Alexa
Bliss turn like.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
I'm glad they didn't go that way.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
But they brought out the cake and they just it
was just a little over the top.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
And then yeah, it just it was just an awkward
segment for the most part.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
But it was better than the Tiffany Stratton Charlotte Flair segment,
which also seemed unscripted and they were made to personal.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Jabs at each other.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
So yeah, I'm glad they didn't go that route this time.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
Yeah. And you forgot to add in too, we also
have Tiffany Stratton as a women's champion, and we have
Julie as a US champion. I mean, people are like, ww,
ain't cooking right now? I mean the women's division is
stacked right now. They got all the right champions. Yeah,
and then you when you add in Rio Ripley, Bianca, Bellair,
Card Gil, you got Stephanieva Care. I mean, you got

(20:03):
so many people coming up right now. Pretty insane, Pretty
insane in my opinion. All right, I feel like I
heard music.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
All right?

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Next up, are you ready for some Monday night raw?

Speaker 2 (20:15):
Always? Man? You like it?

Speaker 1 (20:17):
All right, dude, I only like it raw on Monday nights.
All right, let's get into it. So let's let's do
the opening and the closing. And that is when see
him punk opening up the show. He gets interrupted by
La Night. He throws a big you know, boohoo party.
The vision comes out, there's a big old brawl. There's
no name of jay Uso, and we get a tag
team match. Later on in the main event, Seth Rowlins

(20:40):
goes home, he packs his things up, he's hitting the jet,
he's copying Roman reigns. Deuce is my friend, and they
have their main event. He gets interrupted by none other
than Seth Rollins, who plane didn't take off because that's
how planes are working nowadays. A good thing. They were
going to New York and he comes, they do the
jumping jay Uso. All of a sudden, I think he
comes out to right and gets his butt beat. And

(21:02):
now we have a fatal four way coming up at
the clash with one ce them Punk versus l A
Night versus jayu So versus Seth Rawlers with the world championship.
What'd you think about all of this and what do
you think it's all leading to? And why was jay
So added.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
Jay us So is that he's that guy in the
group project that doesn't do any work but gets to
put his name on the paper.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
That's that's exactly what happened.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
Like he's like, oh yeah, and this last week when
Roman was getting his ass beat, who I just teamed
with at Summer Slammed and two nights before I wasn't there.
I was taking care of family business, as he'd like
to say. And then and then he yeah, and now
he's randomly added into the World Heavyweight Championship picture, which
doesn't make any sense. I mean, I guess you technically

(21:49):
never got his rematch, and maybe that's what the angle
that they're going with.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
But did Roman get one? Did Cody get one? Did uh?

Speaker 2 (21:56):
True?

Speaker 1 (21:56):
He can keep the the CM Punk get one. I
guess he's anyone now technically, I mean so.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Yeah, yeah, John Cene is not getting one.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
But yeah, there it is, uh huh.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
But but yeah, I mean yeah, it just feels I
think what this is leading to to answer your question
is they can't have l A.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Knight take a pin. They can't have CM Punk take
a pin to seth Rollins.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
So they added ja Uso because he's the perfect guy
that can take a pin and advance, you know, get
set Rollins past Paris and then we get to CM
Punk versus seth Rollins one on one, or maybe say
CM Punk or l A. Knight seth Rowins one on
one for the world title. I think that's what they're
gonna do. But I think they added Juso so somebody

(22:41):
can take a pin and it's not gonna be set
it's not gonna be punk, and it's not gonna be Knight.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Yeah. I think this is all to build a l A.
Knight and seem punk, which I don't mind. I think
l A. Knight fans are gonna be disappointed because there's
zero percent chance Ella Knight's getting the come up. It's
over CM Punk, who I think will be maindependent WrestleMania
against seth Rowlins. But I think I think obviously they're
going to take each other out and disappear off into

(23:06):
the arena while jay Uso gets pinned by seth Rawlins
with the help of the vision. I feel like it's
just the writing on the wall. You can smell it.
So I think that's the only reason why he was
added in, which is fine, but that's gonna upset a
bunch of Jay Jusso fans too that you know, he's
the most popular wrestler because he sells merchant People say, yeat,
so why is he losing? It's just gonna start more
of a triple hes to know how to book saga

(23:29):
is going on. But yeah, but other than that, I
liked it. I was surprised. I was pleasantly surprised by
Ellye Knight. But I have something to ask you. I
feel like La Knight is always missing a beat whenever
he goes up against somebody who's greater than him. And
you know, I feel like anytime he's had Mike time.
And I'm not saying a knock because Roman went through

(23:50):
those stages Shoot the Rock with through those stages for
a little bit. Most people go up against John Cena
fumble their words. We've all, they've all had their moments
of learning how but I feel like La Knight was
went around in circles on this promo and didn't know
what he was saying. He was very confused. I don't know,
and I felt like See Him Punk kind of lost
track because Lae Knight. I felt like the opening promo

(24:11):
was very awkward because La Knight was so off that
seem Punk was like, I don't know what the hell
you're talking about, so I'm going to try to do
the best I can here. It was just a really
and there was even a part where Seeing Punk got
interrupted by Paul Hayman and he literally got on the
mic and said I wasn't finished yet. And I don't
think that was like in character. I think he literally
was like La Knight fumbled his words so much. I

(24:33):
had more to say, but I guess my restraints had.
You know Paul Haman hit the ring early.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
Yeah, it was very very I mean, I thought it
was a decent promo from Elly Knight, but there were
times where I was just like, man.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
He is he's just rambling now, Like I'm saying the
same thing over and over.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
You got your shot, you won the world heavyweight title,
and you you deserve the rematch, and you're going to
get the rematch and it's in Paris.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Great job and you deserve it. But here's the thump.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
You're not getting the rematch because I'm getting the rematch
and I'm gonna you have to wait your turn in
line to get the rematch against Seth Rollins because it's
my turn because I beat Seth Rollins at Saturday night.
It was just like, okay, like we get it, Like
I mean, I actually I don't understand what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
So were you reading was that the actual dialogue? By
the way, That's what it felt like. Okay, I was
gonna say I felt like you were reading right off
of it, because that's exactly it was.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Just it was just more you know, you know, you
get the rematch, but I want the rematch. But hey,
I'll tell you what, why don't we both get the rematch?
And you know, but you have to wait at the
you go to the back of the line. And it
was just like and then see him punk was even
like repeating him too. It was just everything they were
saying is just repeat after one another and it was
just yeah, they were.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
Very much rambling. It was not a good not a
good showing.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
I thought it was a decent showing for punk and
I think he did the best that he could.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
But l A. Knight did ramble a little bit there.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
Also speaking of Jay who, so why did La Knight
get a title shot?

Speaker 2 (25:57):
All right?

Speaker 1 (25:58):
Well? Speaking to someone? Yeah, oh that yeah, and then
lost like instantly, I got forgotten about after that someone
who had a phenomenal promo and that was one Bronson Reid.
It was a backstage promo. But the new proclaimed self
proclaimed or Paul have been proclaimed tribal thief wants you
to acknowledge him and he cut one on pro Roman

(26:20):
reigns And what do you think about this? Right? What
do you think about the swerve? Everyone's saying, Rob, what's
going for the title? He's gonna go after Seth. No,
he's not, y'all. I keep telling you he's not here
for championships. That part of him is done, and it
looks like it's gonna be him and Bronson at Paris.
What do you what do you think? Let's say you.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
I think it's perfect. I think it's a great match
for Roman Reigns. I think it's a great, great opportunity
for Bronson Reid. I thought it was a great promo
from Bronson Reed. I thought I thought he explained himself beautifully, Like, hey,
you know, I attacked Seth Rollins a few months ago,
and you know I earned his respect whenever I attacked him,
and you know, now I'm doing the same thing to

(26:58):
Roman Reigns. I'm gonna attack Roman Reigns and he's going
to acknowledge the tribal thief and like he's I thought
it was just a really damn good promo from Brons Red. Now, yes,
it was backstage and it was a vignette. It wasn't
in the ring, it wasn't in front of the crowd.
But I think this is how you build up somebody,
especially if Roman's not going to be there, you need
Bronson Reed to do a lot of the work. And

(27:19):
I think Seth right now is getting a lot of
praise for his work in the Vision. I think Paul
Hayman obviously is getting a lot of praise for his
work in the Vision, and I think people are talking
more about Brown Breaker, and you know, his work in
the Vision and everything he did, caring going into SummerSlam
and everything. I think people kind of forgot about Bronson
Reid And I think this is his opportunity to really

(27:39):
show out and showcase what he's capable of doing. And
a match against Roman Reigns is nothing to sneeze at,
and I think it's going to be a great thing.
And I think he needs to win at Clash in Paris,
and I think he needs to tsunami Roman Reigns eight
or nine times after the match and really solidify himself
as a true, true monster.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
And I think he might. You know, it's nice to
have finally people, my friends admitting that The Vision is
a profitable group and doing great things. They have a
name now and so on, you know, doing big things
over here. But Bronson reid Man talk about a money
making moment. I mean the tribal thief having the shoes,
talking about how this is what happens on the streets.

(28:23):
You go to the playground, you get punked. I punked
you and took your shoes. This is what we do
in the yard, badass shit. It's so true. I just
love it, and I love that Bronson went from kind
of bron Breaker's sidekick, who seth Rollin's sidekick. He's a
sidekick of a sidekick to now being that dude and
props the Roman reigns for, you know, saying, hey, let
Bronson come at me. I'm good with it. Roman rings

(28:46):
doesn't need to do that right now, but him going
ahead and facing off against Bronson Reid win or lose?
What a great like. I'm sure Bronson is overly. I'm
sure eight months ago he didn't think like, oh, I
can't wait till I wussell. Roman reigns one day like
this is a money and tavish shoes word over my neck?
Right Gray, you two pay? Oh, he'll have more, don't worry,
He's have like twelve on him before they get to

(29:06):
whenever they're gonna wrestle. One of my favorite parts, too,
is I always learned something every day, and bron Breaker
finally taught me some math. And that's forty seven plus
forty equals one hundred and I freaking love it. Sneider
math even when he sneaks them in, he sneaks them in,
sneaks them in.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
Good.

Speaker 1 (29:26):
All right, let's get it. Let's get in your breaking up.
You there, there you go, I see you. Yeah, all right,
so let's let's get into these females Ryan, because they,
like we said, I have been cooking. We're gonna end
on the females. We had a couple of good things.
So we had Naomi who got injured, pregnant, disappeared playing
she was there, who knows. We'll get into that later

(29:46):
on in the show. But we ended up having one
Eosky then wrreustle against one uh judgment day, why am
I blanking her name? Roxanne Pez Thank you? It's late
Roxan Perez and Eosky gets to win, and her and
uh the Kabuki Warriors, the three of them kind of

(30:08):
go at it. They kind of push each other a
little bit, getting a little scuffle, and it looks like
either Osca is turning heel. It looks like more but
maybe it's Zeo Sky. I don't know, but interesting, right,
was this planned beforehand or was this just made up
on the fly because of Naomi stepping out? But sign
me up, dude, all aboard. I'm all for of the

(30:29):
Kobookie Warriors going at it. I'll take a three way
at anytime of the week. So yeah, this is big
time I think in fun because what happened to Osca,
Eosky's kind of been in the spotlight. Osca, who is
a way bigger star in my opinion than Eo, has
been kind of forgotten. So I think this is gonna
be a fun little moment for both of them.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
Yeah, I think so too. I think it'll be the
reintroduction to Oscar. I think we kind of forgot about
her a little bit. And I think Oscar's better as
a heel, and I think that, oh yeah, you should
be the one who turns heel and my eo Sky.
Eosky gets crazy, crazy reactions from the crowd, so let
her keep getting those reactions. Don't turn the Eosky. Don't
turn Kyrie saying, but just turn Oscar and.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Let them cook.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
Let Eosky and Oscar cook, and maybe we have new
challenges for the Women's World title. Who knows what's going
on with Naomi. They haven't officially said anything. Hopefully it's
nothing too serious, or maybe it is.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
I don't know, but.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
You know, either way, I think that the women's division
is cooking in w W. The women's division is probably
way better than what anything the men are doing.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
That's for sure.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Oh yeah, And speaking of cooking, we had another backstage promo,
first from Bronso Reed, then one from Bailey. I took
this as a hell promo. I posted that. A few
people told me I was stupid, that it wasn't a
hell promo, that this is just her trying to find
her way. But basically, she let the world know that
she's a failure. She's been disappointing herself and her fans

(31:56):
and blah blah blah, and seems to not be able
to click and figure herself out. And this little dark
side was kind of coming out of her. And I'm wondering,
and I'll throw this at you that if Bailey turns heel,
what if she's gonna bring carry and cross and scarlet
with her, because it kind of looked like she was

(32:17):
hitting that little dark confusing, gonna manipulate kind of vibe.
What if this is all a setup, which we'll talk
about later, but what if she came back and maybe
she has a carrying cross or a scarlet. Maybe this
isn't just for her to be a heel. Maybe she's
planning bigger and better things for one Bailey who deserves it.
Because you want to talk about people who have been
forgotten completely. That's Bailey. Bailey has been completely forgotten. What

(32:42):
say you and what do you think about the PROMA?
Do you think this is her just saying babe face
or is this her in turning heel?

Speaker 3 (32:49):
I think it's the precursor to a heel turning. I
think she needs a character change.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
I think that whatever's going on with her right now,
you know, it's working.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
The crowds are reacting positively, but I think she needs
he's a change in direction. She's losing all these matches.
She's you know, disappointing herself, like she's saying.

Speaker 2 (33:05):
So.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
I don't think she's quite turning heel yet, but I
think it's the precursor to a long drawn out heel turn,
and hopefully triple A she doesn't fumble this one like
he did with the New Day's He'll turn and John
Cena's heel turn and all these other he'll turns, so hopefully,
you know, he lets this one fester a little bit
and turns her at the right.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
At the right moment. But I do think it was
the early onset of a heel turn.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
I think when she turns, Hell will look back at
this promo as the kind of the tipping point or
the beginning of the heel turn, the moment where she
broke bad, if you will, And then I think the
I like the I like the idea of bringing carry
Across and Scarlet into the fault.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
I think that's an.

Speaker 3 (33:47):
Interesting theory, and it would be it would prove that
all of this was a ruse. It would prove that
all of this was a gigantic work. And I think bait.
You know, Carrie and Cross has a tendency to manipulate people.
He has a tendency to find help people. We'll find
their dark side. Everybody that Carrying Across has worked with,
with the exception of Samy's ay as, I'll have all
turned heel shortly after working with him. And so maybe

(34:09):
this is her way of recognizing that and wanting to
work with Carrying Across and wanting to work with Scarlett,
and this is how they bring him back.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
I like that idea. I haven't thought about that.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
Yeah, I could work, could work. We'll see, we'll see.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
He was kind of shot at a Carrying Cross type
promo too.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
That's what I'm saying. It felt very Carrying Cross. Everything
about it. I guess only time will tell. All right,
let's get into it. Yeah, TikTok mo, TikTok carrying cross.
All right, let's get into some NXT. And you want
to open up with the promo of the year that
is from you? What Josh Briggs? He came out and
cut a promo. I'll let you go and talk about it.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:50):
I don't even know what happened in this promo, but
he came out and before he could really say anything,
the crowd was just booing him out of the bill
and he even he even tried to bounce to rally
away from it by saying, your booze don't affect me.
I've seen the people that you cheer for. But that
just for whatever reason made that, you know, the one thousand,

(35:12):
five hundred people a thousand people in nxc's audience even louder.
But they it got to a point where they were
chanting turn his mic off, and I think he started
losing track of what he was saying.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
I lost track of what he was saying. It was
just a very very weird moment on nx T.

Speaker 3 (35:30):
It was a it was you know, I don't want
to I'm not saying the crowd trying to hijack the
show because they didn't hijack anything else going on throughout
the night. But I think it tells you what they
think of one Josh Briggs. And I really hope that this.
I like Josh Briggs.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
I think he think he's he's good.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
I don't mean probably don't put a live mic on
him anytime soon in the in the near future, but
maybe that's something that he can work on in the
Performance Center and get better.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
But that promo is just who it was. It was
just not good at all.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
Know when it happens, you know, it takes some people
a little while. It took Tuck Williams a while to
find out who he is. And now looking at me
because some of the best promos in NXT and that's
the magic of it being the performance Center. And I
think put another life mic in his hand. I feel
like what happens is that sometimes you don't you're not
prepared for the what chance, You're not prepared for the
you know, these these certain chants are going to go

(36:24):
on and to cut his mic, you know what I mean,
he's a human. Imagine you're pouring your heart out you're
trying to get over and they're chanting cut his mic off.
In his head, he's probably like, oh fuck, like what
am I doing? Oh God, I'm gonna like get I'm
trying to get over right now. In his head, who
knows what's going on? So and he's starting to forget
what he says. These are the moments that he goes
in the back HBK whoever else, shake him up a

(36:44):
little bit, and hey, get at road dog, you know,
get out of it, snap out of it, get back
out there, figure yourself out. This is gonna happen, happens
to all of us. Hopefully he'll recover and go on
from there. But yeah, it definitely wasn't his best moment.
I felt bad. But he's also feuding right now with
somebody that nobody cares about. It's just a real hot situation.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
Yeah, which it was a very strange feud anyway, So
maybe that's what they're mad about.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
Maybe maybe well the main event no wants to be
mad about. But the dark side, the four dudes who
one guy supposedly really likes people's asses. I don't know
what he is like, I don't know why that's this
thing right now. He's talking about want to stick it
in people's butts and so on. But to each and
zwe my man's each and own. But they right, I

(37:30):
guess so. So the dark Side defeated the tag team
of TNA superstars Moose and Trick Williams and NXT superstars
Obafemi and Javon Evans. Javon took the pin thanks to
one Trick Williams. Uh. Dark Side needed this win, man,
I mean, I didn't see a world and where the
dark Side is gonna lose. I'm assuming they're gonna be
the tag team champions. I mean, if you want the

(37:52):
dark Side to be taken seriously, which they have not been.
For the Sick they said they've been around for six months.
I'm like, what, it's been six months. You guys have
done absolutely nothing. It's about time. But I said this
before on a TikTok and I stand by it. They
need a leader. It's hard as a faction to get
over when you don't have a main guy. He doesn't
have to pronounce himself as the leader, but you need

(38:13):
a standout guy because if not, then you're just the nexus.
And what happened to the Nexus exactly. So you have
to have somebody that kind of stands out and is
above everybody else, and then that guy needs to get
solo wins with the help of dark Set, as the
dark Set also beat people up, but you need that person.
But other than hopefully they get there. But this was
a nice win. I liked it. I like seeing Moose

(38:34):
out there and they're they're building storylines all over the place.
So yeah, it was it was real good stuff.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
I thought, Yeah, I liked it.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
I thought it was a good way to end the show.
I thought it was a good main event for NXT.
I like the Dark State. I didn't realize, like you
that they have been around.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
For six months and at the start.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
Of them turning things around and they start capitalizing on
them a little bit more. You brought these guys into,
you know, so much fanfare. They were beating everybody up.
It was kind of like a shield sque type debut,
and you really haven't done anything with them since now's
your chance to, you know, really really get them going.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
They got a huge.

Speaker 3 (39:13):
Win this week, so I think, keep that momentum going
and let's see, let's see where it goes.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
They're about to beat Hank and Tank, who were doing
whatever they were doing this week on the NXT.

Speaker 2 (39:24):
But he'd be perfect tag team champions. We need to
get them off a Hank and Tank.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
They were doing like SNL skits the entire episode.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
But either way, and this is that's what you've done
with them. Yeah, that's the SNL skits.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
Yeah so Franky, Yeah, possibly the tag team of the year,
well not recently, but we're all right. Well, either way,
it was a good week in WW. It was a
good follow up at Summer Slam, good bill for Clash,
and I look forward to whatever is going to happen
moving forward in the next week's But all right, right,
