Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's two dudes with Attitudes of Wrestling podcast with your
Boy Ryan Enjoys Wrestling and m w O and we
are live Baby, and we are doing the w W
E Russell Paul Loosa Predictions Babe the first time ever
on ESPN or is it on ESPN or is it
(00:21):
not on ESPN. We'll talk about that. But are you ready? Ryan?
We've been gone for a couple of weeks. We've been busy,
we have busy lives. We're trying to figure out this
new schedule. But we are back, y'all. We're gonna keep
doing it every single week to subscribe, follow hit those
notifications so you know what we're popping on. But once again,
we're back twice a week, Ryan, aren't we Yes sir, Yes, sir.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
We are. We are back.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
We're better than ever like Eric Bischoff and uh oh yeah.
Let's get to it, man. We got a busy weekend
of wrestling. We've got counter programming. We've got ae W
which moved their time to an earlier you know, move
their show to an earlier time. We have Russell Palooza,
we have you know TNA Say and you know taking off.
We have you know NXT crushing it this week. So
(01:03):
it's been a crazy week in professional wrestling and it's
just gonna get even bigger and better with ESPN right
around the corner. So let's I agree, let's get to it.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Hit that music too, dudes with attitudes, Let's go the
two dudes and attitudes ruthless aggressively speaking, so less dude
this we're brying and didn't they here it? Get your
attention to five star brow can shit stalk to the end,
whether it's the E or so. The two dudes with
the attitudes of Brinnan Hay get the point yet, so
(01:36):
on time of lacking, listen to the podcast where they
get it happening.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Yeah, I want to talk about that counter programming really quick. Win.
So we'll go East Coast time, because you know all
y'all live in the East Coast, which is the worst coast.
But y'all y'all have to stay up until two o'clock
in the morning to watch the Raiders, Way and I football.
But so here's the thing. WWE Russell Pallou is on
at seven o'clock, So what time is AW.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Now it's at three o'clock.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
It was originally scheduled for at eight pm Saturday night. Yeah,
so it was gonnad and that pay per view was
going to end at two am.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
So that's what I was going to say. Remember last
time they counter programmed, AW moved their time, and what happened.
They went into the first two hours. If they're going
to go into all of Russell Pallue is not going
to go over three hours. It's five matches. So if
they end at ten o'clock Eastern, they start at three,
I can see aew going till eight o'clock, nine o'clock,
(02:39):
nine o'clock, six hours.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
I could see it. I could see it.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
So what happened?
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Yeah, like you said, that's what happened when they had
all in, I mean that was that's what o'clock in
the afternoon and it went into like the first hour
of Saturday Night's main event, and that was the night
Goldberg retired from WWE and everything. So who knows? Man, Like,
I think they're gonna try to get as much as
they can. We know the opening match of Russell paloozas
john Sen and brock lesl So you know, AW is
(03:06):
gonna pull out all the stops to try to leak
into that one a little bit, and maybe that's when
we get hanging in Paige Kyle Fletcher. Maybe that's when
we get coping cage like seven and a half hours later.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
But hey, they gotta do what they gotta do.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Here's the thing. You pay to watch their pay per views,
so I'm assuming you're not going to tune out. But
I could see people not buying because of that reason.
I think they put Brock there and seen a first
for that exact reason to people to say, I don't
want to miss that match. And no one even knows
what's going on with ESPN right now, and we can
talk about that. The thing is with ESPN. I'm hearing
(03:41):
people saying that they're going on the channel looking at
the guide and it's nowhere to be seen. So you
can it's on ESPN, but it's only on the ESPN app.
I'm not They have not promoted it as Russell Paloo's
a ESPN app. ESPN Plus they said it's on ESPN,
so I guess we're just moving to ESPN app and
the ESPN's apps confusing too, because I have Hulu, ESPN Disney.
(04:04):
I have gotten nothing about a price increase or change
I have the new ESPN already. I didn't do anything,
and then Direct Tv set me multiple emails saying, hey,
you get ESPN for free. This is how to subscribe
to it. But then it says under it, this does
not count for the bundle or whatever. But I thought
(04:24):
the ESPN thirty was already the bundle. I thought, if
I diso, why am I paying? It's for free.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
I'm very confused, and I'm telling you right now. I
personally think the WWE made a mistake putting Russell Palooza
on the first ESPN pay per view because originally when
the announcement came out, they were going to ESPN in January,
but now they quickly rushed off of Peacock and came
over to ESPN so they could counter all out.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
I think they made a mistake. I don't think they're ready.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
I really don't. I don't think they know. The rollout
has been really confusing. There's people that there's either's still
ESPN Plus out there, there's ESPN eight. There's all these
apps out there that you have to download, and you
don't know which one is, which is this on ESPN
the television show, the television channel, like because you've.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Been saying that.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
They've been saying it's on ESPN, not the ESPN app.
So to the normal person, that would be channel two
oh six on direct TV, that's ESPN, that's the channel,
but it's probably it's not going to be on that.
So this whole thing has been really really poorly communicated
and poorly rolled out, and I am worried about the
technology and everything and are they ready to do this
and if anything goes wrong in this first pl e,
(05:36):
you know, wrestling fans are going to let you hear
about it. So this is uh, you know, WWE's taking
a huge gamble with this show for sure.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
So what I'm seeing here is says says the only
way to watch Russell Palooz. That's a subscribe to the
ESPN Unlimited in the United States or purchase the event
via the ESPN directly or through the Disney plus Hulu
ESPN Unlimited bundle. For viewers that the US watch on Netflix, wean't,
so yeah, you have to have ESPN Unlimited. So my
(06:05):
thing is is that I think I have ESPN Unlimited
because I my whole thing changed, but maybe I don't.
Maybe I have to go through my direct TV to
also have es. But I did get it. I I
saw some people put in my comments that they're not
they they're cable provider isn't providing it? And I was like, yeah,
a lot of cables. I got an app that it was.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
I think Comcast is not. I think YouTube TV is not.
And that's a big one. And there's another one, Sling
I think is not one of one of the other
bigger ones is not offering it. So if they have
that in YouTube TV, man, those people are getting host
You're already paying like eighty two dollars.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
A month to watch to rid of it.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Yeah, and now you now you have to pay whatever
that cost is plus twenty nine twenty nine ninety whatever
it is to get the ESPN app. It's it's highway robbery, man,
That's that's for sure. But and also I am alope
if you can not too political.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
And we didn't talk about.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
This beforehand, but right now a lot of people are
pissed off at ESPN and Disney and Hulu because of
what happened with Jimmy Kimmel, and a lot of people
are canceling their Disney ESPN supposedly, yeah, supposedly, yeah, and
I wonder if that's going to have any impact on
the numbers as well for Wreussell Paluza. I don't know,
because you know, I think a lot of wrestling fans
(07:24):
kind of the political you know, demographic.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
Is probably split fifty to fifty.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
But I do think it's going to have a if
people are serious and they they they do cancel. I
do think it's going to have an impact on the
by rates and the and the people watching.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
I agree, although I thought it was funny because I
followed some creators and they're like bigger than me, and
they're like, well, I'm not watching Russell Palooza because WW
I can't afford it and I'm not getting it for free.
And I'm like, you're a creator, Like what do you?
What do you?
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Then don't create?
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Like to be a creat you have to watch, So
I'm sorry to break up.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
I don't want to pay either.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
But then don't like people that's all a w w
pl e's you're a WW only creator, you only you're
not gonna watch their pelds anymore. Yeah, good luck to you.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Yeah those people that are like, oh, I can't afford
to go to peak pay per views or I'm not
gonna watch anymore because tickets are so expensive, and then
they show them on TV marking out you know, in
the behind the scenes, but you know in the audience,
like you know, getting on camera, and I'm like, like whatever, correct, but.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
People talk homies. But here's my here's here's my thing,
here's my thing. I posted it on TikTok, so you
probably already seen it. But my thing with ESPN was
that I was very excited for ww to join ESPN.
I thought it would be really cool, really good for
pro wrestling in general, really good for the publicity, the
eyes right to put eyeballs onto the product. And I
(08:43):
went ahead and watched First Take all week when First
Take had Paul Hayman and Seth Rowlins on it was
steven A and it was atrocious. Paul Hayman tried to
carry it was atrocious. Then they had Cody Rhodes on it.
It was atrocious. Then they had Triple h on it
where they did the top five steven A list where
he normally lists and they're bad, and Goldberg was number one,
and it was just like, and I was watching it,
(09:04):
I'm like, this is my problem, right, ESPN knew they
were taking over to w TOW. Now should they hire
people like you and I one hundred percent? And they
should also they should hire us, and they should also
hire a couple former pro wrestlers, right, just like they do.
Steven A. Smith doesn't play sports, but he watches, He observes,
he learns they have these guys on here. Like Steven A.
(09:24):
Smith is like reading off a teleprompter asking Seth Rowlins
quest they're awful questions. The list of the top five.
He was calling him Randall Mochoman Savage instead of macho
man Randy Savage, Like they don't even know pro wrestling,
they're like homeboy Ryan. Ryan Clark was like, how you're
not going to put Junkyard Dog on there, like Junkyard Dog,
(09:45):
Like you're just naming people you knew from like the eighties,
the greatest, Yeah, top five ever? Like that was my
thing too, is that the positive was that I was
hoping on ESPN people would see it and then go, oh,
I used to watch wrestling and the Attitude era or
the eighties or maybe the two thousands, and I miss it.
Maybe I should go check it out. Put more eyeballs
(10:07):
on the product. But when you have morons talking about it,
I think it's gonna hurt the product. Triple A like
Stephen A and this is not a knock. I actually
like Stephen. I'm not one of the haters on him.
I don't I'm fighting with him. He is what he
you you know what you get, So don't watch it
and then go good. He's so annoying and full, that's him.
That's why people tune in. It is what it is.
But he does make a mockery of it because he's
(10:28):
not taking it seriously. You put a boxing match or
a UFC and that's how you approach it. If you're
gonna have them on, you're either interviewing them as unreal
or you're interviewing him as you know, as in character. Right,
you have to dart one or the other, right, so
you have to say, hey, how does this work out?
Does that work? Or you have to say, hey, this
is you know you're gonna fight, You're gonna do this? Yeah,
(10:52):
so yeah, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
No, yeah, no, I completely agree. And I think they
didn't do the WWE any favors this week with that promote,
like the the number one, the top five greatest wrestlers
of all time according to Steven a and it's got Goldberg.
There's no Rock, there's no Stone Cold, there's now Noon.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
He had the Rock. He had the Rock at number four.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
Okay, yeah, but he didn't have the Rock.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
He had the road Warriors not leading to do. He
called him the road Warriors, and then he had h
and uh who was the other flair Flair Rock road
Warriors Goldberg and Lgan?
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Yeah. When he said holding at number three, it was
silent because it was him, Cam Newton and Ryan Clark
who were all black, and they were probably like, yeah,
no thanks. It's a very like.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Like it makes me wonder like this is that really
his list that he thinks or is that like did
w W E tell him to make that list?
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Did they?
Speaker 3 (11:47):
Was he trying to suck up to Triple H because
he even said that Triple H, this one's for you,
like it was Goldberg? Why would he like, I know, Yeah, yeah,
I agree, he hates. He probably hates the Rock right
now too, so everything going on with that. But yeah, yeah,
But with that being said, I do think ESPN did
a good job promoting the show all.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
I mean they did.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
They had a show hosted tonight on right before SmackDown aired,
where they had Tyrese Haliburton hosting the show and it
was like Russell Palooza preview and they went match by
match of the car on the card. I think the
Pat McAfee connection is going to, you know, play a
significant role with the show being in Indianapolis, and I
think he's done a good job promoting the show.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
I think, you know, having.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
Joe Tessitour who works for ESPN, I mean, you know,
he's done a great job on commentary as well. So yeah,
I think the ESPN connections are going to go a
long way. I think hopefully we'll get past this awful
week of stephen A's list and everything and this becomes
a better, something better going forward.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
Yeah, Like I agree with you, Like I said, the
eyeballs is what's a plus, But when you get the eyeballs,
you're not gonna have NFL live with two people who
only watched soccer are two people who watch baseball and
you throw them on there and they're like, well, I've
watched the football game like in the past, So does
Dan Marino still play? He's good? Like you need people
like they did this to be a professional, right, You
(13:14):
don't have to be a professional. If you watch it
enough then fine. But yeah, and they know it.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
This happened.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
This happened to ae W a couple I think last
year during the All Star Game, because the All Star
Game was on tn T and the NBA was talking
to like they were like, tune in this Friday or
Saturday for Grant Collision, Slam Dunk. It was like March
Madness Edition or All Star Edition and they were like,
who are some of your favorite wrestlers from a W
And people were like, oh, Stone Cold the Rock, it
(13:41):
did aw, no favors whatsoever. It was And you can
tell it was like it was like stan Van Gundy
and Reggie Miller, who like you can tell they've never
watched wrestling in their life, Like, yeah, I think the
Undertaker was there one time when I was growing up.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
I used to watch him.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Yeah, it was like they were there to promote ae W,
but they talking about w WS.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
And and that's and that's what I mean. Yeah, yeah,
and that's what I mean. And like even when Cam
Newton and Ryan Clark and Stephen A were like talking
about the w they're just so over the top like
they're trying to be w like just talk about WWE
like just do it like Shue. And I know I'm
joking saying you and I should do it, because I
would do it. I could do it well too. But
even if you gets someone bigger, if you throw Santy
on there, you know, just somebody who knows, and then
(14:23):
you get an old retired wrestler. I don't care who
it is. Bring Brian Danielson in there to be a
person on ESPN or anybody like that, you know, just
somebody to talk. Even Eric Bischoff being on ESPN would
be good, like just somebody who although Bischoff doesn't even
watch anymore, but still just somebody who watches. Yeah, I
don't know. Every time he gets asked questions any three
(14:44):
weeks like, I don't know, I'm not following. I'm like,
then why are you doing this podcast? Watch go back
to then just talking about the olden days?
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Yeah, no, I agree with that.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
He probably has Goldberg as his number one on his
top five or.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Probably he created gold home on all right, you ready
to getting predictions to be talking enough about this?
Speaker 3 (15:06):
I think so. So it's it was a good week
for ESPN. Hopefully this partnership gets better. But you know
what time it is, right.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
Oh, I do know what time it is, And you
know what time it is because it is.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
This prediction time before it never happens, is a prediction
lean in close saying no's listen because they about to
point it out puin league. One of the things that
you've been seeing. It's getting called like plays in the
line of scrimmage. You can take it to the bay.
The dudes ain't trippman. They've been seeing what's coming for
a good man and his prediction.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Time.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
Yeah, let's get it. Let's get it, hecky, yeah, let's
get it.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
All right. And as always when we do our predictions,
mister Ryan and Joyce wrestling is you're gonna try to
put the match card in order. The good thing is, homie,
there's five matches and you already got two given to
you random middle bro. Just like my girlfriend tells me,
don't mess up the three in the middle.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
All right, you ready, totally it's totally gonna happen too.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
But yeah, so we we got John Cena and brock
Lesner opening the show that was announced. First it was
announced as the main event, and then Pat mCOL time, Yeah,
and then Pat McAfee was like, hey, guys, guess what
breaking news. It's opening Russell Blues. And it was really
confusing because people were pissed at it was main eventing,
so maybe they maybe they pivoted. But Johnsen and brock
Lesner opening the show.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
As always, Ryan, you get to start who you got.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
I don't know like this one because on one hand,
like john sena has got to start putting people over,
and he's got like he's only got a handful of
dates left. It's time for him to start losing matches
and go from there. But then do you bring do
you bring brock Lesner back? But at the same time,
like if John Cena should probably beat brock Lesner, but
(16:56):
do you bring brock Lesner back just to lose? Should
it be a squash match where brock Lesner wins. I'm
gonna go brock Lesner gets the win over John Cena,
and I think it's gonna be a squash match. I
think he's gonna annihilate him pretty easily. And afterwards, either
(17:16):
Gunther's gonna come out and stare down brock Lesnar, or
he's gonna come out and help Brock Lesner continue to
beat down on John Cena and Gunther is going to
become Johnsena's next deponent.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
So you think it's so you think it's going to
squash the other way around. Yes, I didn't watching Johnson.
I was there when he squashed them at Summerslap. That
wasn't their last match, was it? People say last match
was fourteen last Yeah, yeah, that was when it was
only in LA. I remember, like I used to go
every year when it was cheap.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
Yeah, I maybe it was. I don't know. I don't think.
I didn't think it was. I don't think it was
that longither though.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
But well, I mean he had a bunch of matches
with Roman, he had a bunch of Drew that's what.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
Yeah. Yeah, so I retired, Yeah yeah, yeah. Either way,
here's the thing, right, I made videos all week saying
that Sena needs a squash Brock lesser. I think he
needs to get it back. I think Brock coming back
with controversial. I think he just came back to put
eyeballs on ESPN. I think they proved that by putting
(18:21):
them first, hopefully to bring people in. And I think
he's gonna disappear again. But then I saw him tonight
go up to Paul Hayman on SmackDown if you didn't
watch it and basically said, call me in front of
the vision. Now it's got me twisted because now is
it gonna be Sena wins or is Brock gonna get help?
But does Brock help need help to win? Will the
(18:43):
vision come now? Because if he loses, does he go
to the vision? No? But if he squashes him? He
can't just go with Paul. He needs to be part
of Paul. Can't just do the vision and Lessner. He
tried that before. It doesn't work when you do two people.
He needs to be with one group, one group only.
So I'm just gonna stick to my I think I
think we're gonna open up with a squash John Cena match,
(19:06):
and I'll tell you how we're gonna end it, and
it's gonna have eyeballs no matter what. We gotta get
people talking. I'm gonna go John Cena and I'm gonna
go the opposite. I'm gonna go he squashes Brock Lester.
I'm gonna say they're making Brock Lesser look like such
a beast beating up Corey Graves attagging Michael Cole because
they're making him look like a monster and he's gonna
get his ass kicked. I think John's gonna they haven't
had him at the same time yet, they're constantly on
(19:28):
different brands, and so I'm sticking to it. I'm not
gonna sway away from.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
My original decision. Yeah, I can see that.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
I do like your idea of the vision too, where
maybe that's because everyone wants to see bron Breaker, the
young talent, you know, get a you know, beat maybe
John Cena's final opponent. And maybe that's how we get
to that is they help Brock and he spears Johnsena
fifteen times through the wall or something, or Bronson Reed
is his next opponent and he Tsunami's John Cena after
Brock Lesner beats him.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
I mean, there's so many ways that they can go.
But I do like the idea of the Vision helping Broun.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
Yeah, all right, what's the next in your predictions? Oh
and there's my boys. So maybe they couldn't come out,
so we got the one Ooh, so they stay out
versus are they stay out? Then they just hang out?
Like all right, come on? Who says and the ussos
are going up against the bron Bronze l A. Knight's
gonna be there somewhere. Who do you got who's winning
(20:24):
this match.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
I'm gonna go bron Braun, I'm gonna go Bronson. Reid
and Bron Breaker are going to get the win over
the usso's. I think they're trying to tell the story
of dissension between Jimmy and Jay even though they just
got back together. The whole La Night thing is going
to come into a play. Who is Jay talking to
on the phone on Monday Night Raw?
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Like, are they leaning.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
Towards the Jay us so He'll turn I'll tell you
my prediction on who that is. I think it was
the other Oose, Solo, Soca, his other brother. That's why
he was like, I can't tell you that. If it
was Roman, he would have been like, oh, yeah, that
was the tribal chief. But he was like, Okay, I
can't tell you that, don't worry about it. And maybe
he's talking to Jay or he was talking to Solo
about Jimmy or something, and but either way, I think, uh,
(21:07):
I don't think that plays a factor in this match yet.
But I do think Bronson Bronson Read and Bronbreaker have
to win.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
The bron Brons are for sure winning, but are we
getting an USO turn or an l A. Knight interference?
So either one's happening. I don't think the bron Brons
win fairly squarely. As gsp once said, I think l A.
Knight comes out and costs them, or Jimmy Usso turns
on Jay USO. See, I don't think Jay's turning. I
think Jimmy, they're making it that before, yeah, since he
(21:38):
hasn't Yeah, he hasn't done anything, so I don't.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
Know, and then they Warstlemania. Yeah, I agree, I agree,
I could. Yeah, that's why I think maybe Jay was
talking to Solo and it's gonna lead to Jay heels
turn and maybe yeah, yeah, and you know he he
was trusting the wrong the wrong brother or something, or
or he Solo saw what uh he should have seen
in Jimmy and Roman this whole time. I don't know,
(22:03):
but I do think it would be better Jay turns.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Heal, Yeah, I think I think one of it's happening. Right,
It's either gonna be Jay turning, Jimmy turning, or l A.
Night co. I don't if none of those three things
happen in this match, I will be shell shot, or
if it just happens, or I'll be shot.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
There's the other option of l A. Knight turns heel
and joins. The vision becomes.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
That's okay, so that's but either way, he's in there,
So that's what I mean. So yeah, that would be Yeah,
that's the other thing. But you can't. Are you gonna
have l A. Knight and then brock Lezard too, We're
gonna have every there's a vision the nude like death writers,
what do we pretty much? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
He plays the role of brock Lesard plays the role of.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Wheeler un Yeah, whatever happened to him. I like how
they were like, Daty Garcia, you're in everybody else you're out.
I guess I don't know. Yeah, you're gone, Like thanks
for wearing basketball shorts. All right? We got one EO
Sky versus one Stephanie I don't care, but care, and
they are wrestling for the women's vacated title from one Naomi.
(23:06):
Who do you got and tell me how it happens.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
I think it's gonna be Stephanie Vicaire And I think
this is finally the moment we get that long awaited
Oscar turn, and she's gonna cost Eosky the match. She's
gonna come out and either inadvertently cost her the match
or or vertinly cost her the match, and there's gonna
(23:33):
get the win.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Mm hmm. I think that's the only option, right, I
think that's what everyone thinks. Originally, I thought there was
no chance Stephanie Vicaire was gonna win, because I don't
think she was originally gonna beat Naomi, but either was
Zo Sky, so I think they went to a different route.
I think I wonder if Ripley's gonna play a part
in it, though. Is she gonna turn heel maybe, or
she gonna come out and accidentally cost EO trying to
(23:55):
save her from you know, from Oscar. Maybe will be like, see,
you should have trusted me, rihaccosted, you know. Maybe she
pushes Osca into EO or distracts it or I think
there's gonna be something. But Ria's got to be involved,
right because then she's still kind of involved because she
said she's gonna face whoever wins. I don't know. I
think it's uh yeah, well we'll see.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
But I do think the biggest star in the Yeah,
She's ree is the biggest star in the women's division.
And you're not gonna have her on the show at
all on your inaugural pl on ESPN.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
That seems suspect to me.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
So I do think she's gonna play a factor in
this match for sure, one hundred percent.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
And we're gonna have Stephanie Vacaerre and Julia both as champions,
but they're doing nothing with Julia. So if they do
something with Stephanie Bacaire, because you got the talent, you
pushed them up super fast and went from AW to
NXT to WW in no matter two months. You like
you're gonna give them titles. Now, push them, push them,
push them.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Yes, absolutely, absolutely.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
All right, the match that I will be looking forward
to the most, watching it alone in my room, will
I cover up the two bottom people and I'm going
to watch one Seth Robins and Becky Lynch taken on
seem Punk and aj Lee And I think what is
being billed as the first ever ever married couple versus
married couple WW pro Wrestling in general, I don't know
first ever right ever officially real life? I R L
(25:19):
married couple versus married couple. I think it is. I
think so, yeah, I think you're some of the comments
if I'm wrong, Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
The only last match I can think of is John
Cena and was a bribella against Miss and Maurice at WrestleMania,
or they weren't married they John Cena was engaged. Yeah, yeah,
Miss and Maurice were Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
Yeah, that's the only one I can think of.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
Sure, yeah, and lets you count Stephanie versus Vince or
or Vince versus Linda WrestleMania. Well it's sixteen in every corner. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
back to this one, I'm gonna yeah, I'm going with uh, Mike,
my heart's telling me see them punk and a j Lee.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
I feel like that's the only option.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
But it is.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
I feel like Becky Lynch and Seth.
Speaker 3 (26:06):
Rollins are gonna feel it somehow, adding more boomph to
this feud, adding more hatred to this feud, and then
we're gonna break off and get a j Lee versus
Becky Lynch and we continue to seeing Punk and Seth
Rollins for another couple of months. So part of me
feels like a j Lee and see him Punk have
to win, but the WWE I could see them having
(26:29):
Rollins and Lynch get the win. But I'm gonna go
with my heart and I'm gonna say a J Lee
and see them Punk get the victory.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
I don't know how, but they do get the win.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
I think Lee pins Becky Lynch. Here's the thing, right,
it has to be Punk and Lee. Right. I get
what you're saying with Rollins and Lynch winning because that
it builds more because I do think. I do think
Aj will to throne Becky Becky Lynch, and I think
Seth Rowlins at Russell Maania as I predicted. I think
it'll drag out that much longer, so I think they'll
find a way. But I think when Punkin win it
(27:00):
might take some air off of it. And maybe since
the good guys won, they'll maybe do something else and
Brolins and them until or maybe just AJ Lee and
Becky Lynch will focus on each other so Seth Rowlins
can do something else. I don't know, but we'll see
how it works. But I do think it has to
be Punkinly, we can't have bad guys win all over
this thing, you know what I mean? I think I
think the good guys got to win, and yeah, Punkin Lee,
(27:21):
you can't have aj Lee come back just to take
a pin unless she loses the Becky Lynch to beat
her then for the IC title afterwards. That's the only
thing I can see. But I'm going I'm going Punkinly.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think Punkinly have to win. But
I could see a scenario where Seth and Becky steal
it from him and adding more vitriol to this view
and then making it more special when Sea I'm punk
and aj Lee end up dethrowing the other power couple
in WW. So either way, I'm this is probably the
(27:56):
match that I'm most excited about on this card, and
I feel like this match should be main eventing the
show instead of the match that the next match, which
will be main eventing.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
Oh you are wrong, sir, and is one Drew. I
will not hit you through the booth again because I
want to wrestle you tomorrow. McIntyre versus Cody Roads for
the Undiscingted Heavyweight Championship. Yeah yeah, who do you got, homie?
Come on, let's see you've got a pair of nuts.
(28:25):
Let's see if you got him.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Yeah, I'm gonna I feel like the reason why this
match is main eventing is because either Drew McIntire's winning
or somebody huge is returning, like The Rock or somebody
like that, and I don't think the latter is happening.
So I'm gonna say on the inaugural pl E, the
WWE loves to do random title changes on these, you know,
these big shows we have. You know, we'll have the
(28:49):
and the new Women's World Champion crowned earlier in the night,
but that title has been vacated now, so it's not
really a title change, so this is gonna be the
title change. I think we're gonna get Drew mcint are
finally becoming WWE champion.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
Either that or Cody Rhodes wins and Randy.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
Orton turned till afterwards. That's the only two scenarios I
can see. But I really want to see Drew get
his and I think he deserves it, and I think
WWE that's why this match is in the main event,
because they're going to put the title on Drew.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
I mean, people keep saying that Randy's gonna come out,
but Drew just beat him clean. I don't see the
point of that, I'm going. I stuck with this at
the beginning. I said this before this was even announced,
when it was supposed to happen on Saturday's main event.
I believe or whatever it was, I said from the start,
Drew McIntyre is going to win big time Faces of
the company. John Cena lost all the time. That's why Edge,
(29:42):
Randy Orton people like that have thirteen championships as well,
and twelve and ten because they would lose a John
beat John, lose a John Stone coll Sevasson never had
a championship I think longer than five six months. He
was the face of the company. That's how it works.
You can't just be the face and just hold it
forever like Roman that wasn't an anomaly than Hogan him
back in the days when wrestling wasn't on every week
(30:03):
and it didn't matter how long you had the championship.
Cody needs to lose. Let Drew hold it until rumble.
Cody can then win it back and then face whoever
at WrestleMania, where I think he's gonna lose it to
Sammy's A. But nonetheless, Drew McIntyre deserves it. Pay him
back for winning WrestleMania, having his moment ruin due to COVID,
and have him winning on the first ever ESPN. Like
I said, open up with John Cena destroying Brock. People
(30:26):
are going to talk, tune in. End it with Drew
beating Cody, and have people continue to talk all the
way through the weekend. Baby, That's what I'm saying. That's
how you make a mark.
Speaker 3 (30:35):
So and if you want to, if you want to
steal the weekend away from AEW, that's how you do it.
Have John Cena be Brock to open the show, the
return of aj Lee, her first match back in ten years,
and then Cody Rhodes gets dethroned in his first pl
defense of the title. The only reason why I don't
think this match should main event is because Cody Rhodes
hasn't been there. He wasn't there for the last three weeks.
(30:58):
And the match became official last week and this week
this week on SmackDown, they signed the contract and it's
just like see him punk and aj Lee where I
have been on both Raw and SmackDown.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
Becky Lynch has been carrying the WWE, the women's division.
Speaker 3 (31:12):
She's been doing the best work of her career. I
feel like they deserve the main event spot. But like
we said, something BIG's happening in this main event, and
that's why this has got to be their last match
of the show.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
Don't forget too somebody has to go make a hot
after this. I'm just saying, he was already gone for
a month. Why are you gonna have him be gone
for another three four weeks recording the movies and this
and that as a champion when you can give it
to Drew and Drew is the m v P of
all of Professoral Wrestling. He needs to make that a shirt.
I've been saying it for months upon months upon he
(31:45):
is the MVP. Let him run with the company, Dey,
let him do it, all right, it's his time.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
It's Drew McIntyre's time.
Speaker 3 (31:53):
And let's see how he does with a champion in front
of a in front of a fan base in for
longer than five minutes.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
