Because of impending inclement weather, we’re virtual this week! The Grammys last weekend gave us quite a lot to discuss, but overall, we thought it was a good show. All the performers sounded amazing and most of the winners made sense although we felt the Grammys were trying a little too hard to seem progressive and “changed”. We also shared our thoughts after watching Maria, Saturday Night, Your Honor, and I Used to be Funny. Last weekend, we had a sleepover and finally watched Nicole Kidman in Babygirl. We love that she’s really been breaking out of her typical movie style recently, but we don’t think this movie lived up to all the hype it got online.
Sticking with the movie talk, we gave our thoughts on the new movie Companion and how movies involving an AI main character all seem to have the same general plot. Can we mix it up a little from the hot AI robot who does anything the man says until it becomes self-aware and gains more intelligence? With it being February, we also make some Galentine’s Day plans. If you’re doing something with your girlfriends this week, be sure to share!
