In this week’s episode, we watch a couple cult classics with some new films thrown in. We didn’t initially plan on watching Oddity, but when we saw it was on Hulu, we had to add it to our watchlist. Unfortunately, this one didn’t meet our expectations and we were left disappointed by a movie based on Irish lore yet again. On the plus side, we enjoyed revisiting Pulp Fiction and Fight Club. Yes, there were a few things in these movies that probably wouldn’t fly today, but we feel both of these stand the test of time. After watching a young Brad Pitt in Fight Club, we jumped forward a few decades to see him in Babylon. This movie clocked in at over 3 hours which was quite the time commitment. Neither of us saw this before and thought it was a fun watch even though you felt the length.
Hannah also gives her take after seeing the biggest movie of the year thus far: A Minecraft Movie. This shockingly racked in $310 million worldwide last week and really seemed to bring back that “must see” movie comradery. We also touch on some insider news fro CinemaCon and recent movie rumors.
