Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey, welcome back to another episode of the Two Mics
on two mics dot Us. Don't forget to tune into
our website, two mikes dot Us sload of the sponsors. Oh,
by the way, thank you for all the comments. Thank
you for always emailing us.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
This month.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
We January, we didn't get that many emails, but we
want to thank you and to all of you people
who tell us you'd like to have other people on,
we're doing that. We're putting that list together for all
of our listeners and previous guests you're coming back. I
want to recycle as many of you that we're on.
The five hundred shows. The first five hundred shows, we

(00:39):
had so many great times with some of the guests,
authors and so on. All right, look, what's happening is happening?
You know, Trump's in. It's two point zero.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
All right.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
We'll make comments from time to time, but really what
we want to do is recycle some of the best guests.
All right, he won.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
So we got to get on with the show and
not like a too Mike show.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Right, So hang in and enjoy this one.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
By four three two one, Hey, welcome back her own
with two Mike's, Doctor Michael Shower and Colonel Mike Hey. Today,
we're really excited about our guests. Have you on, uh
the one that we're going to have on today. Our
producer Foddie, thank you for getting this put together a
couple of weeks ago. You know, we've been meaning to
have him on for a while and you know he's
making the rounds. There's a lot of shows that had

(01:53):
him on. A lot of people have woken up, a
lot of people are learning about this. I mean I
knew about it years ago. We're going to have we're
going to bring back one of our friends who's a
guest to the two mics also and he's going to
be on with us with Doctor Mike and I. And
that's Jack Maxi. Because the last show we did with
Jack's was two parts. Jack had mentioned the USS liberty.

(02:16):
So we want to deep dive on this. This is
something that everybody in America should be aware of, no
matter where you stand politically or where you stand what
the nonsense is going on now and today it's announced
about the First Amendment. Okay, and you know this is
this occupation and this ally story. There's a lot to

(02:38):
be told there's a lot to peel the onion and
find out what you don't know. And if you do know, well,
we're going to listen to a man that survived it.
So we want to welcome to the show, and he's
on the screen right now. We want to welcome one
of the survivors of the USS Liberty, the attack on
the USS Liberty, and we want to welcome Phil. Welcome
to the two mics.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Philm Well, thank you glad to be here. And it's
a very good topic we're going to get into today
for many reasons. But you know, it's a story that
you can't hardly believe, not unless you live through it
and have the survivors tell the truth. That's what they

(03:18):
didn't want as still being alive.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Bill, Why did you open it up for us and
just give us an idea a little bit of the background,
the time frame it was back in the sixties, and
what was going on in the world at the time.
And you know, how could you be on a ship
every one of us were on a ship, Jack and
I and probably Mike two. How could you be on
a ship and just survive this? And I mean live

(03:44):
to tell the story. I mean a lot of people
would be in shock mode forever. I mean today, if
you blow wind on some people on a street corner,
they can't get out of it as PTSD. So just
give us, you know, a little briefing from the beginning.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Well the beginning, where are we starting? Where we in?
But I'll tell you the beginning for me is I
joined in the Navy in February sixth, nineteen sixty four.
I did two tours Vietnam and then got transferred to
the USS Liberty on the East coast. And I had

(04:20):
already made two cruises aboard the Liberty, and our job
was to go up and down the coast of Africa
very slow, about five knots, and pick up signals out
of the sky. It was perfectly legal. Everybody does it.
The Russians were doing it, everybody else was doing it.
And we came back from the second cruise and we

(04:43):
ran port for about two and a half months, three months,
and that was our turn to go back to Africa.
We get to Abajean, Africa. That was our first port
we pulled into for the long trip all the way
across the Atlanta and Africa, and we got emergency orders

(05:04):
just as soon as We got there to get everybody
backboard ship. We're getting underway right now, afap, leave them
here if you can't get them, but we're leaving. But
we ended up getting all of them back on board.
Of course they were on liberty, you know, having a
few beers and stuff. But we got everybody back on board,

(05:25):
and we had for parts unknown. We didn't know where
we were going. They didn't tell us. So we get
into road of Spain. We pick up three linguists. There
were Marines. They were Russian and Arabic linguists. And then

(05:55):
we had nsa CIA tape type guy there. He was
this villion Alan blue which he was sadly he was killed.
But we picked these guys up, got a few supplies,
and we headed into the Mediterranean to the Sinai Peninsula.
Now we knew, oh two days before we got there,

(06:19):
that we're going into a war zone. The old man
asked for this destroyer escort because we're going into a
war zone all by ourselves with the unarmed ship. Well
we had four fifty caliber machine guns you might as
well call it unarmed, which they took out on the

(06:40):
first pass. But on June the seventh, we got on
station in the Israeli aircraft. Reconnaissance aircraft would circle our
ship and circle our ship. They came so low to
the deck plating he would rattle the deck. Here was
a prop job. It was DC three and a flying

(07:02):
box car and other smaller airplanes taking pictures of our ship.
And you could see the Star David clearly on there
the airplanes, and our American flag was flying brand new colors,
five by eight colors. We just put it up, make
sure everybody knew who we were. And the same thing

(07:23):
was repeated the next day. On June the eighth, the
day of the attack, they overflew us to about noon.
These are the same Reconnaiss aircraft. Again. We did the
same thing over again. We waved at the piots the
way back. They dipped their wings like everything was fine,
you know, And we were glad they were there because
we had no help except Israel, our best buddies in

(07:47):
the whole wide world, we thought. But suddenly, at two
o'clock in the afternoon, all hell broke loose. I had
just left the forward gun mount. We just just got
through with General quarters. It was a chemical drill and
I was in damage control. I was I pregnaty suit.
But then I was going to warsh down the ship.

(08:10):
That was done about I don't know, ten minutes before two.
I stole my gear, went up to the forward gun mount.
The sound powers phones weren't working, so I got a
friend of mine, David Skolak, he was an nice seaman,
get up there and to get it fixed. And went
up there with him a few minutes and we talked
and we could see the bombs going off on the

(08:32):
on the Sinai and black smoke airplanes, and we thought, boy,
this is not a good place to be. So I
left the forward gun mount and that was on the
Starbard side, walked back to my duty stations, which was
midships and the ship at a shop. Just as soon
as I got through the hatch, old hell broke loose.

(08:57):
They blew up the well boat. I thought, because they said,
you know, prepared to test the motor well bolt. We
do that every day to make sure if engines running,
everything's good. And I thought when the angelman blew it up,
and I was going to go outside the hatch, and
this chief grabbed me by the neck the nap of
the collar, and I said, man, get in here. We're

(09:20):
under attack. So I immediately went down to my through
the mess decks to get up to my repair station
forward and they took out every tuning antenna on that ship.
We had a lot of them, and they shot every
watertight door had one or more penetrations above the water line.

(09:44):
Within three seconds, the four fifty Calibal machine guns were
taken out. All of our antennas were taken out except one.
That Terry how the Bardier had taken offline because it
wasn't tuning and they didn't hit it. He ran a
long wire. Now, this this attack is going on for

(10:06):
twenty five minutes by jet aircraft at least thirty sore tees.
Over and over and over again. They dropped napalm on us, cannons, rockets,
machine guns, burning us up with the napalm. Terry got
up emergency call out Rockstar, Rockstar underattacked by un jet aircraft. Rockstar, Rockstar,

(10:33):
Send helps, Send help. This was in the twenty five
minute frame, probably about fifteen minutes to twelve minutes after
the attack started. It was picked up by the six fleet,
Captain Tulley of the USS Saratogain. He immediately launched the
aircraft to come to our aid. Those aircraft were even

(10:56):
before they hit the horizons, they were recalled Robert Strange Mcnamerica,
do not help Liberty, Do not help Liberty. Return to base.
Return to base. So they went back to base. They
landed their planes on the on the aircraft carrier, and
then about a few minutes later after that, the America

(11:16):
and the Saratoga relaunched again, and uh, they said, you've
got we got to have to go to a higher
authority before we're going to recall these aircraft because we
know they need help and they're being bombarded and we
don't know by who. LBJ got on the line and said,

(11:39):
bring all those aircraft back back to your ships or
wherever you're gonna land them, but you're not going to
help Liberty. Leave Liberty alone. And he said, I'm not
going to embarrass my ally is well, how did he
know who was attacking us if we didn't? So they

(12:00):
went about twenty five thirty minutes the attack, and then
we could see the three mortar torpedo boats coming up
on the starboards side. The Star of David was clearly
on all three boats on the They were flagged Star David.

(12:21):
We thought they were coming there to help us with that.
Oh boy, this is great because we thought the Arabs
were doing all this, But no, they weren't there to
help us. They were there the murderers all And this
attack lasted an hour and a half with rockets, cannon,

(12:44):
machine gun, and they fired five torpedoes at us. Imagine
that five torpedoes coming our way. I saw two go
out with the other two. I really don't know where
they went, but I do know where one went. It
hit in the communications spaces. Now, we were the most

(13:06):
sophistically sophisticated spy ship in the world bar none. We
could bounce signals off the moon and back to NSA
and now Security Agency within three seconds back in nineteen
sixty seven, so you can imagine what they can do now.
But the attack went on and on and on and on.

(13:28):
We thought we were going to sink when the torpedo hit,
and by the grace of God, he kept that ship
afloat because there was a forty by forty foot torpedo
hole on the side of our ship and it started
to lean over and it just stopped. So I know
the hand of God.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
Was absolutely, absolutely no doubt.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Nobody else came to help us with the Good Lord,
so we stayed well. We tried to get out of
the area very slowly. We were doing about two or
three knots. We only had one boiler online, and we
got a little bit out of the area, just steaming

(14:13):
away from the area. And the United States government did
not even send over a piper cub to see how
we were doing. They left us out there for seventeen hours,
seventeen hours when help was only forty minutes away. So

(14:34):
I guess they wanted us to sink. And the deal
was sink us fast and blame it on the Arab
States and bring us into World War three. That's what
that's this was all about. Sacrifice in the USS liberty,
put it on the bottom, blame it on NASA, and
we were close to a nuclear war. This happens if

(14:54):
we sink. They had nucle They had nuclear sub there,
uh excuse me, German Russian, and we had two American subs, uh,
the Andrew Jackson and the Amberjack. So we heard the
and Amberjack. We're taking films with the of the whole attack,

(15:17):
and never did help us. Neither did the the other sub.
So we were just basically alone left to die. But
like again, like I said about the grace of God,
we didn't. And all night they were doing operations. The men.
I'm not telling you, guys, it's hard to even imagine

(15:40):
your friends and your shipmates in the mess decks or
anywhere you could put a body. They're all bloodied and broken,
men stacked on the on the deck, on the eating
tables in the cafeteria. I mean, it was a sorry sight.

(16:04):
I helped him one operation that night on a guy
named Gary Blanchard. He was hit and he's hit real bad.
Doc keeper he operated all night on people, but Gary said, hey, man,
take my socks off. My feet are hot. And I
took his socks off, rubbed his feet and tried to

(16:27):
get him some circulation. I went over to his left
side and he was hurting, and he says, hey, man,
you think I'm gonna make it? And I says, I
don't think you are, man, I really don't. I didn't
want to say that, but I did. Doc put a

(16:50):
knife in him and cut him from he's growing all
the way up to his chest bone, and by that
time he was already dead. That's how severely wounded he
he was. He died right there on the table. Doc
put a couple of stitches in him, and we laid
him over to the side. And this went on all
night till the very next morning.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
So how many people were lost on that ship on
that attack?

Speaker 2 (17:17):
There were thirty four killed that day. Twenty five of
them were killed by the torpedo explosion. They were literally
blown to bits and pieces of body as though they
were blown to bits. And then we had nine die
on deck, so it was thirty four total. And then

(17:42):
it was one hundred and seventy four wounded, and I
made seriously wounded. I was walking wounded. Thank God, I
could still perform my duties. But a lot of them
had no chance to. They just couldn't do it. So huh.
The USS America came alongside with the USS Davis. The
Davis brought some crew members over to help us shore

(18:05):
up both sides of the bulkheads because they were looked
like balloons. They were blown up like balloons from the
torpedo explosion. We shored that up. They were taking men
off whe they're seriously wounded, to the America or I
think they went to the a couple other ships there too.

(18:27):
I can't remember their names, but the most seriously wounded
or they era lifted into to Germany. When this was done,
they told us to head to Malta, and Crete was
a lot closer than Malta. We had to go on
thousand miles with a forty by forty foot torpedo hole

(18:49):
on our side when we could have went to crete.
But they didn't want that. I guess they wanted us
to sink on the way.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Yep, and right, So let let doctor Mike and Jack
jump in here for a minute. Mike, Jack, who wants
to go for us?

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Go ahead.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
There's very little to say about that story that doesn't
shame America to its core. But it's interesting for me
to hear how willing presidents were in nineteen sixty seven
to let their ships get sunk or attacked and their
men get killed and wounded for a goddamn country that

(19:29):
isn't worth a damn to us. Yeah, and it's Trump
is as nuts as LBJ is, as far as I'm
concerned right now, You know, sir, what you went through
was clearly deliberate. Clearly you know if you get such
an answer so quickly from McNamara and Johnson, they clearly

(19:52):
knew what was going to happen, and it's just unforgivable.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
Yeah, they set us up. You set us up to
be sunk and bring us into World War three and
go after the Nasser. They hated Nasser and George. They'd
get Jordan too, and it was well, it was a
big land grab, is what it was. The only thing
is we stood in their way and we did not sink,
by the grace of God again. But you know, two

(20:19):
days steaming getting into Malta Admiral Kid and his surrogate,
he's a lawyer, Captain Boston. They came aboard and did
interrogation on the survivors that were left on the crew

(20:40):
left on the ship. Excuse me, and he got us
in small groups. It is he took off his stars.
I was in the sick bay at that time. He
threw him on the table, ring like a bell. Now,
I'm just like your dad. I want you to tell
me exactly what happened, what you saw, what you heard,

(21:01):
everything we did. You know? He said, Hey, they shot
up our life rafts. We only had three life rafts left.
They shot him out of the water. They wanted to
know survivors. They took one of them aboard their boat
to hip as a trophy of the kill. We told
him about the napalm, which is very visible, you could

(21:21):
see it. And he looked at us and put his
stars back on it. He got right in my face
and got beat red. And he says, have you ever
repeat a word to anybody what you just told me,
or make sure you end up in prison or worse.
You know what worse means, Sailor, I said, yes, sir,

(21:45):
I do. And he shut the hatch and left. And
I mean, they took our First Amendment rights away. They
did everything. You better not talk to him. But he
not even your parents, not your wife, not anybody. You know,
people were married. But uh, that's how secret it was.
I mean, they threatened you to murder you after you

(22:06):
almost got murdered by supposed ally and you you know, uh,
you you made a good point, Michael.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
You jet Max. Go ahead, all right, listen.

Speaker 5 (22:22):
This is just a terrifying statement of our relationship with Israel.
But as an old sailor, I wanted to ask you,
was the first damage control that you guys really did
on the ship, only after the other two US Navy
ships pulled us alongside.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
No, we were doing damage control the whole time, plugging holes,
uh below the water line. I mean we were leaking
like a SIEV. And uh, the guys off the Davis
the hell of a job helping us out to the
very professional and and they they helped helped us get
into ball to I think there was about fifteen of

(23:01):
them because we were on a skeleton crew. I mean,
there wasn't very many of us left.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Yeah, well you only had what about three hundred out
of that ship Phil three hundred crew.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Yeah, two hundred and ninety four souls. Yeah, and like
I said, we had enough life rafts for everybody, but
they burned them up or shot them up. There was
only three left. And Fellows, what kind of people does
it take to shoot life rafts when we're going to

(23:33):
put our most seriously wounded and give them a chance
to live. And they wouldn't even allow that. I mean,
that's a war crime. Napalm's a war crime. Everything they
did to us is a war cime. And you go
back to Johnson, to every president up until right now
Donald J. Trump will not touch it. They will not

(23:56):
touch it because they said it was a mistaken identity.
In this fake, fake fake Boardervan quite it only lasted
seven days, which he should have taken at least a year.
And the jag officer Ward Boston Heavy Cannedy's testimony about
ten years ago just before he died, and he said,

(24:18):
the Admiral and I knew exactly what went on. It
was not a mistaken identity. It was pre planned, premeditated attack,
and it was very well executed, very well executed. So
he knew it. But he was a Navy guy, he says,
I'm a Navy guy. I follow orders when the President

(24:38):
tells me to shut up and write this out the
way he wanted it. And it was a mistaken identity.
They figured this out in seven days. Mistaken identity, okay,
when we told him different, and then they told us
never to say anything about it, that we'd go to
prison or die. So hell, we were, Hey, man, we've
already traumatized the way. I mean the play.

Speaker 6 (25:02):
Transcripts that were found from NSA showing that they knew
you were an American ship, that they had identified you
as such before the attack, they were never really brought
out even in the inquiry.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
No, you're exactly right, Jack, They had on their war table,
they had us on their war table, and they identified
as as American and friendly. They say they changed the watch,
took us off the war table, and never told the

(25:39):
other watch commander we were there. They forgot we were there,
like we just disappeared. And that was just a pretext
for the cover up. They're hiding everything right that they.

Speaker 5 (25:55):
Had the earlier photographs from the overflights. Sure, you know,
it's just beyond belief to me. And when you actually
look at two hundred and ninety some sailors, one hundred
and seventy five or plus are wounded, twenty seven are killed.

(26:16):
This is two thirds of the crew.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Absolutely.

Speaker 5 (26:21):
I mean, you know, most people think of fighting unit
basically stops functioning at about ten fifteen percent. What you
guys did was amazing and really these guys deserve to
be honored.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Well, we're not honored. We're called conspiracy theorists, nuts, you haters, Nazis,
ANIMII and my Semis pigs were none but nothing. We'll
just even to our own government, we're nothing to them.
They just they won't they won't do anything. Any Congress

(27:01):
won't do anything. Any present won't do anything because of
I guess they have one master, and that master certainly
isn't the American people, because when they attack that ship,
that was an act of war on America, and they
put a gun to every American's head when they attacked
that ship, and they got by with it.

Speaker 4 (27:23):
Well it certainly, it certainly was. It looks like a
test run for nine to eleven, doesn't it.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
Yeah, yeah, a whole lot more.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
Yeah, they got no blowback for the murderous thing they
did to you guys, and then all this information that's
available about their participation in nine to eleven, is it
kind of is a pattern in a sense.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Sir, Yeah, Well, they by way of deception is a
Masads model, and so they deceive everybody for their own
personal gain, which is they won all the and it
looks like they're going to well they didn't get in
nineteen sixty seven that they're taken right now, because if

(28:05):
our ship goes down, they would have got it all
right then in America had been crying for blood. They said,
we want blood, we want blood. You you guys killed
the Arabs. I'm talking about you guys killed our sailors,
and now we're going to come get you. And they
would have got oceans of it if we go down,
because there was there was sacked aircraft in the in

(28:27):
the air even before we got attacked headed to Cairo. Really, yes, absolutely,
and at the last minute they pulled out. We were really,
I'm not kidding you, three three to four minutes away
from World War three, the nuclear war. And this is

(28:50):
an amazing story, Phil, I mean, just the USS liberty
is an amazing story.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
But to find out that we were that close to
World War three, and that all degenerate lynd and B.
Johnson knew all about it, was in on the gig
MATC Namara was in on it. And today we're just
finding out in the last few years what's going on
by you going around and any other survivors who speak

(29:14):
about it. And you know, you should be getting the
Presidential Medal of Honor whatever they could give you in
the White House instead of hosting some faggot dancer from
you know, Ukraine, who's looking for another couple of billion
at a three hundred and forty billion, right, and I
think the latest number I saw that we've given Israel

(29:35):
since forty seven and fifties close to three four hundred billion,
So I mean it's just it's totally amazing and thank
god we got this podcast. Thank god you survived. Thank
god Jack, Maxie and Michael lare on here because this
is the two mics. We're all about freedom, we're all
about First Amendment, and we don't give a damn what
anybody says. And Michael has been attacked by more Adlai

(29:58):
packs whatever you got out there. They try to take
us down so many times. But the bottom line is
this is not an ally and this is not the
Israel of the Bible. Ladies and gentlemen, just go read it.
Just go read it.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
You're probably talking about the King James version. If you
read that Bible instead of the Schoolfield Bible, will tell
you all you need to know.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
Yeah, exactly right, you're right.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
So, yeah, it's who.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
Financed the Schoolfield Bible, Phil, we all know that.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Well. Of course, the benefactors of nineteen forty eight was
Israeli state, and our countries has been their main benefactor
through thicker thin ever since then. And why I mean money?

(30:56):
Oh yeah, of course money, oh money, plus.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
We give them billions and they bribe our people with
their own money.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
Yeah. Absolutely, when they they said they paid six million
dollars Israel when they apologize, well, sorry, some mistaken identity.
Here's six million bucks. The ship alone was worth forty
million dollars and it probably costs two or three million

(31:24):
to fix it. In Maltage. Used told get it back
to the States. They cut out every hole, every rocket hole,
every every fifty caliber round where the bridge was on
fire with napalm. They repainted the whole ship, made it
look like brand new. We wanted to bring it back
battles Guard. We said, let's just do that plug, fix

(31:48):
the torpedo hole, and leave the rest alone. Let's let's
take it home so the people can see what it
looked like. They would have none of that. They wouldn't
allow any press on board like that. It was just sickening,
I mean. And then I stayed quiet for eighteen years
till I met my second wife. We've been married be

(32:13):
forty two years in June. God bless you, thank you.
I appreciate that. And I never even told her I
was in the military because I had pushed it that
far back. But a friend of mine, Master Chief Stan White,
he was a CT. Now when those when that torpedo
hit it, it took out twenty five of America's finest

(32:35):
CIA and say, personnel this country had to offer bloomed
abyss doing what their government ordered them do, and that's
what they got for serving their country. But most of
the servants severely wounded or the dead. They did get
some money, clearly not enough. They gave me two fifty

(33:00):
bucks or two two or two fifty I forget for
my clothes, says sign this that you'll never see Israel
Order of the United States. Jeez, so I signed it.
I was glad to you. All I wanted to do
is get out until I got I read this Rocky
Mountain news from Stan White about the Liberty and the

(33:23):
Association and stuff, and I haven't shut up since. Goody
when you see your shipmates murdered and you can't do
anything about it, and it's like calling the cops and
you say, hey, I got this guy detained over here.
He just shot my mom's head off. And then the

(33:46):
cops said, well, let me go talk to him. And
the cops says, well that this guy said it was
mistaken what he really didn't mean to do it, so
he cuts him loose. Do you know what?

Speaker 5 (33:58):
This is an excuse they use all the time. We
remember Jonathan Pollard, oh yeah, revealed all the undersea navy
communications networks codes, et cetera, first strike initiatives, that said
all everything right, and as he's working for Israel, Israel
then gives all that information to the Russians. This is

(34:20):
in order for them to release the Russian Jewish people
who were still behind the Iron Curtain. And then when
Pollard gets busted and we realized that this is all
the reality, Israel claims, oh yeah, yeah, we were involved,
but that was a rogue group of intelligence dolticers. Wasn't

(34:42):
official policy. You know this, guys did this on their own,
you know, don't blame the country on under any basis, right,
same thing that they did to you guys. And and look,
Pollard just got welcomed back to Israel. And anyone can
look this up, you know, Jonathan Pollard returns to to Israel,
He's hugged and kissed by Benjamin net and Yahoo and

(35:04):
welcomed as a great hero of the Israeli people. And
he utterly portrayed us at a critical time at the
height of the Cold War, and so did Israel, our
greatest ally, and they were the conduit for it. Actually
getting to the Russians.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (35:21):
Well, I don't find him so much sending him back,
but I would have drawn and quartered him first and
sent him in little packages.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
Yeah. Well what he did to America well as a
firing squad offense, absolutely and he gets a heroes welcome
in in Israel for betraying the United States of America
is and how many other other are doing it right now.

(35:52):
They don't work for America. They work for one person.
That's Benjamin net Yahoo right now, and whoever succeed him

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
