Ben Milliken Arrested:
a well-known figure in the fishing community and a prominent YouTuber, was arrested on Thursday, December 12, 2024, in Nacogdoches County, Texas. The charges against him stem from allegations of freshwater fishing tournament fraud.
The specific accusation involves Milliken's entry of a Legacy Class ShareLunker largemouth bass he caught at Lake Naconiche in February 2024. Texas Parks and Wildlife officials claim that Milliken provided false information on his contest entry form.
Milliken, 35, surrendered on the misdemeanor charge and was released from the Nacogdoches County jail shortly after.
National Professional Fishing League Fight broke out
On December 11, 2024, Brad Fuller, the President of the National Professional Fishing League (NPFL), was involved in an altercation with two anglers (Doug Chapin) (Michael Yoder) at a diner in South Carolina. The incident occurred after a fishing tournament was canceled due to inclement weather.
