Trolling - it's time to call it what it's really become.

The shift happened in January. I don't know how you wouldn't have felt it if you're online... 'Trolls' used to be (for the most part) someone who didn't like what you posted, said, was having a bad day, and decided instead of continuing to scroll past they'd leave their 'thoughts'. It still wasn't nice by any means but what we're seeing now isn't even trolling. 

It almost feels as if it was something that was caged, talked about but not quite so openly, you knew it was definitely there but there weren't a lot of people that would be so blatantly and brutally racist, misogynistic, hateful, and just f*cked up. 

Today I'm calling what it is. Because it's not trolling. And it's so far from ok.
