In Episode #20, you'll hear Kerri Heddell's raw and authentic story. Kerri met the man of her dreams online and was swept up into a whirlwind romance. It was a perfect relationship; starting long distance until they decided it was time to live in the same city. After about a year, he proposed and Kerri planned her Gone With The Wind Wedding. She couldn't have been happier. They enjoyed an amazing cruise as their honeymoon. After the honeymoon, they settled into their new lives.
A few months later, Kerri decided to surprise her husband and came home early to have lunch together. To her horror, she walked into the bedroom and found her new husband with three prostitutes. As she ran screaming from the room, little did she know, that this was the beginning of uncovering her husband's porn addition, which led to their financial destruction. When Kerri began to question her husband's financial decision, the domestic violence began. He would scream into her ears, causing her to lose hearing. He pushed her down the stairs and kicked her at the bottom. This went on for years. Kerri tried to get help, enlisting the assistance of a large Church in the DC area. What she didn't know, was that her husband wasn't attending his sessions and the counseling was futile.
Kerri shares, in graphic detail, what it was like to be married to someone with a porn addition, and to be the victim of domestic abuse. You'll hear how she was finally able to get out of the marriage and begin to heal and rebuild her life. Kerri is now the CEO of a SEO company for Entrepreneurs.
