pressures to fit into a moldthat doesn't serve you, you're
in the right place.
This isn't a podcast about easyanswers or sugar-coated advice.
(00:32):
This is your invitation toreclaim your path, embrace the
unknown and become the bold, unapologetic version of yourself
that's been waiting to show up.
It's time to get unfiltered.
Let's get started.
Hello, hello, good morning, good morning, beautiful souls,
and welcome back to theUnchartered and Unfiltered a
Journey Back to you podcast.
(00:55):
I am outside this morning.
The sun is warming the earth, the birds are singing and the
world feels so alive.
It feels as though it isbreathing with me.
And in this quiet, I want toinvite you to pause with me for
a moment, to feel the breath inyour body, to recognize the
(01:22):
unique energy and frequency thatonly you carry, the light that
only you can shine in this world, because this journey, this
sacred journey, is not aboutbecoming anyone else.
It is about coming home to yourone-of-a-kind self.
(01:45):
So I want to share a little bitabout the question that called
me here to speak to you today.
I asked myself, before pressingrecord, what is the message
that your soul and ourcollective souls need most right
now?
And it's a big question, maybeoverwhelming, but the answer
(02:07):
came softly, with certainty Comeback to your truth, your unique
truth, not the truth thatothers have shaped for you, not
the truth that your fears havewhispered to you, but the
radiant, divine truth that onlyyou embody and it feels really
(02:32):
important to share with you.
I was just expressing to afriend of mine how I was able to
attend my grandson's birthdayand what I noticed was how
completely enamored he was withhimself as he should be because
(02:53):
he's two and how his deepcuriosity for everything that is
and everything that was on thatday he was looking around and
letting it all in andexperiencing all of it.
He had his moments when he wasso elated, so excited, so lit up
(03:16):
, so happy, and he had hismoments when he was so
frustrated and so tired and soupset.
And all of it was welcome andnone of it was judged by him.
And that's been on my mind andI've been walking with that for
the last couple weeks.
My mind, and I've been walkingwith that for the last couple
(03:41):
weeks, and it has me thinkingabout the truth of who we are.
And what I believe right here, right now, is that you are a
divine expression, not just acopy of what's expected or
what's familiar or what'sfamiliar, but instead a singular
(04:02):
spark of the creative forcethat birthed the stars, the
(04:23):
oceans, the seas.
And how incredibly sacred youare Power, powerful, whole that
your gifts, your vision, yourvoice, your way of being in the
world are needed now more thanever.
Not by fitting in, but bystanding out, by living boldly
in the full, glorious spectrumof your own uniqueness.
Just like my grandson and Ihave other grandchildren and
(04:43):
they are so beautifully unique, and my biggest desire, hope,
wish for them is that they won'tlisten to what the world tells
them they should be, but thatthey will be who they are Is
that they won't listen to whatthe world tells them they should
be, but that they will be whothey are.
And I want to share somethingelse that is personal with you
(05:05):
now.
I have been reflecting lately onthe medicine that I offer to
others and the medicine that Isometimes forget to take for
myself.
Now I realize that my uniquegift is the ability to listen
deeply, to hold space gently butfirmly, and to help others
reconnect with their own innertruths and leadership.
(05:26):
I help bring their vision, their dreams, to life, and I
create and hold a space that isreal, kind and tailored to each
person's unique path.
That co-creative energy is sopowerful and it's so sacred, and
(05:50):
the medicine that I need mostis that same kindness.
Turned inward, it's givingmyself permission to slow down
Exactly what I'm doing today, tobreathe and to receive the care
and the spaciousness that I sooften extend to others.
(06:15):
And I'm learning that thisinward tending to myself is not
indulgent, it's essential.
I've only forgotten because theworld told me that I needed to
earn rest, and actually that'snot true at all, and there have
(06:44):
been so many times that I havestepped away from this truth.
When the imposter syndromecreeps in, when the question of
whether I am doing it right orwhen I'm overextending trying to
meet others' expectations, howI disconnect from my true self
and coming back feels likereleasing tension, breathing
(07:08):
deeply and reconnecting with mybody's wisdom, this calm clarity
that reminds me that I amenough just as I am, because
alignment for me is a feeling,it's a flowing ease in my chest,
in my body, in my belly.
(07:30):
It's a warmth and a quietconfidence that pulses in my
spirit.
It's the sweet rhythm of mywords, my actions and my heart
singing together, if you will,in harmony.
And yet, because we're soparadoxical, patterns of
(07:51):
perfectionism and self-criticismpull me away of perfectionism
and self-criticism pull me away.
The fear of vulnerability or oflosing control tightens my
chest and silence parts of myvoice.
And I find my way back by cominghome to simple daily practices,
connecting with my breath sothat it can melt the tension
(08:16):
that I feel, walking mindfully.
That allows me to ground myself, journaling that clarifies what
is happening within my mind, affirming my own gifts to myself
, allowing myself to honor myown authority and the power of
(08:44):
responding to things I feelinspired to over-initiating.
And when I fully embrace thedivine spark that I carry, I
sense my leadership expands, butnot in the way you think.
It's not by striving, but bybeing more deeply myself.
(09:06):
And that confidence createsspace for others to shine too,
for others to shine too, inviting them to remember their
own light, their own gifts, their own talents, their own
uniquenesses.
And so I am choosing to lead, not from a place of perfection,
(09:29):
but from presence, deep presence, not from fear, but from fierce
love for myself and those thatI serve, because this is my
medicine, this is my path, andI'm here to invite you to
embrace yours with me.
And even though the practice issimple, it's not always easy.
(09:52):
The practice is simple, it'snot always easy, you have to
notice when you've stepped awayfrom your unique truth and
breathe and choose to come home, back to your values, back to
your soul's whisper, back to thebeautiful, fierce, tender
(10:13):
essence that is only yours.
Alignment is not a destination,it's a sacred dance and a
continual invitation.
And I want to share a client'sstory with you because there is
some wisdom within it.
(10:35):
Yesterday, a client shared withme the heavy weight of loss and
uncertainty that they'recarrying and they felt lost,
questioning their worth.
And in one of those momentswhen they were heavy with this
(10:56):
vulnerability, they said to me Idon't know what to do.
And there were tears streamingdown their face.
And in hearing that, my heartbroke for them because I
remembered being in that sameplace myself, feeling that ache
(11:18):
of uncertainty and not knowingthe next step and not knowing
the next step.
And yet, even in that pain, Iknew, and I know that she too
carries the medicine within her.
And so when I asked her if yourclosest friend were in this
(11:42):
situation, what would you tellthem?
And they immediately said finda therapist and meet with them
regularly.
That wisdom, our inner medicine,is already inside us, just like
it was for my client, and evenwhen we feel powerless, even
(12:05):
when our world shakes, we know, and that knowing is as unique as
our fingerprints.
Your answer, your path, yourmedicine belongs to you, and you
(12:26):
were given it because you areready to receive it.
And so, as I sit here today, Ifeel all of this so deeply.
The medicine that I bring tothe world is the medicine I must
take myself to live inalignment with who I truly am
(12:50):
Unique, powerful and perfectlyimperfect.
And I invite you to do the same.
Take a moment now, wherever youare, to hear this take your own
medicine, lead and live fromyour unique truth.
(13:13):
Let your soul's guidance, yourown inner wisdom, light your way
, and remember you are not aloneon this journey.
You couldn't possibly be, and Iam creating a space, a
(13:35):
community where people like you, with your unique gifts and
stories, can come together, asacred container for healing,
growth, leadership, deep, authentic connection, a place
where your medicine is honored, your voice heard and your light
(14:01):
can shine without apology.
And so if this calls to you, just keep an eye out.
I will be sharing more soon and, before we close, I want to
offer some reflections for youto take into your own sacred
space, your journal, your heart,on a walk with you, and I'll
(14:22):
put these in the show notes foryou, in case you're not in a
position to take these down.
What unique medicine have I beenoffering to others that I need
to take for myself?
Where in my life have I steppedaway from my true self?
(14:43):
In my life have I stepped awayfrom my true self, and what does
it feel like to come back?
What does alignment with myunique truth feel like in my
body, in my spirit?
What patterns or fears pull meaway from living fully as myself
(15:06):
?
What simple daily practice canhelp me return to my soul's
guidance?
And, lastly, if I fullyembraced the unique divine spark
that I carry, how would my lifeand leadership change?
(15:28):
And I invite you to take timewith these, to let your answers
unfold in their own time and intheir own way, and I want to
thank you so much for choosingto walk this uncharted path with
me, for choosing to be you, forchoosing to be bold, beautiful
(15:53):
