Filmmaker and CEO of Gratwick Productions, Kris Hulbert is a man on a mission to change the Hollywood model of film making. We talk about his fully transparent, ethical, audience owned studio Gratwick Productions, named after the part of of Buffalo, NY he is from. One thing that Kris wanted to make clear is when you buy in to Gratwick it is not just a donation like many kickstarter campaigns, you are actually buying stock in the company giving you part ownership and a say on the productions. Kris feels it is only right to run a company the way he would want to be treated as a filmmaker. There is also some great advice for the upcoming filmmaker/entertainer like, you have to remove all safety nets in order to force yourself to succeed. There is a lot of great content in this interview, this is a look at the flipside of Hollywood. Plug in your earbuds, this is how Kris Hulbert Lives Uncontained!
