Fair warning, this is a heavy podcast. We talk about being hurt by the Church, and the people in it. We talk about handling the breakdown of our ideas. We talk about sex, and those in leadership roles who are obsessed with it and morality around it. We talk about authority. Most importantly, we affirm that we love Jesus, His Church, though we have been hurt by it. It takes a great deal of maturity to allow the false ideas attached to our faith to die, our naive ideals to be refined without becoming jaded. We discuss all this and more in our hunt for spiritual maturity in this season.
