I couldn't believe my luck in August, 2019 when coming out of a Stray Cats concert in NYC and my girlfriend spotted Joe Capobianco walking out not too far from us. Joe is a tattooer I've been following for almost as long as I've been into tattoos and to me is a giant in the tattoo world; he has a distinct, innovative style which he has been applying for years. Much to my delight when I walked up to Joe and introduced myself and told him that I would love to interview him he was very agreeable to it and so a couple of weeks and a couple of phone calls later this interview came to be at Hope Gallery in New Haven, CT. I'm happy as could be with the way this interview came out and the fact that it happened at all, there aren't too many people in the tattoo multiverse that I hold in more esteem than Joe Capobianco!!
