In April 1985, a friend of Derek and Nancy Haysom, would travel to their home in Boonsboro, VA to check on them after not hearing from them for a few days. The scene she found was not at all what she could have imagined as they both were found dead in their home with blood everywhere. Derrick was found near the doorway and Nancy was on the kitchen floor. It was a complete overkill and so many were shocked that this well off and well liked couple was killed. But who REALLY did it will remain a question to this day. This episode contains discussion of sexual assault and murder.
