Here's three ways that you can use a virtual
assistant to gain back at least10 hours back in your week, and
if you combine all three ofthese things, you're probably
going to get more than 40 hoursof time back.
Now you may be saying toyourself at the end of this that
maybe not all these things thatyou spend that much time on,

(00:21):
but I guarantee you are spendingmore time on these tasks than
you actually think and theamount of time that it takes for
somebody dedicated to it willactually take less amount of
time than you personally.
So what are these three things?
The first one is social mediamanagement, and when I actually
started having a social mediamanager the content it took a

(00:44):
while for it to get back up tonecessarily where I was at, but
the great thing was that itbecame very consistent.
I was consistently posting atthe exact times that I wanted to
post at because I had somebodydedicated to that.
The second thing was that Inoticed that I was no longer
scrolling on social media.
I actually had to push myselfto get back into being on social

(01:05):
media because I noticed myengagement was lower, because I
was not actually engaging, because when I was scrolling
through social media, I wasengaging with potential clients.
I was engaging with friends andtherefore they were seeing my
stuff when I posted.
But when I wasn't engaging,they weren't seeing my stuff,
and so I was able to get a lotof time back because they

(01:28):
started actually posting on mybehalf and I didn't do the doom
scroll.
Also, they started actuallycoming up with content and it
allowed me to think morestrategically rather than oh, I
got to get something out today,I forgot it.
Oh, what am I going to do?
I was able to actually thinkstrategically okay, where are we
trying to go with the business?
What am I trying to do with mypersonal brand?
What do I want people to see?

(01:49):
And start actually having that30,000 foot view, working more
on the social media and personalbranding versus in the social
media and personal branding andfeeling like I was constantly
fighting fires.
So social media management, thecontent creation behind it, the
posting behind it, all of thosethings is the first thing that

(02:11):
you can do, and it may not bethe best first thing.
It depends on where you're at,what you're doing, what you are
comfortable with doing, but thatis one way that you can start
to save time.
The second one is video editingand content creation.
I know I mentioned with thesocial media management.
A lot of times I kind ofcombine the content creation

(02:32):
into the social media managementside, because when I think of
video editing I think about formy podcast, which actually was
my first thing that I everdelegated I got a podcast editor
.
Shout out to Jay once againhe's probably heard me the past
million episodes.
I keep bringing him up, buthe's been doing such a
phenomenal job for me so I'vegot to give him a little props

(02:53):
as he's editing right now.
But that video editor for me washuge.
It allowed me to create morecontent from my podcast, to be
able to have greater quality, greater sounding content, and on
top of that we would be able tohave greater quality, greater
sounding content and on top ofthat we would be able to talk
through it.
So I was sitting herestruggling to get content out
and then editing it and postingit and all this stuff.
And then, whenever I got Jay tobe my video editor, all of a

(03:17):
sudden he's like hey, you know, the lighting's not that good.
Or hey, the audio's not thatgood.
Hey, can we work on this?
And he gave me ideas.
But now, because he's focusedon that, I can focus on making
the quality of the contentbetter, which of course makes
his job easier, but it makes thequality of the content better
overall.
And now, because I had somebodydoing that, I was able to focus

(03:38):
on other things and the beautyof having a video editor, which
he loves to do the video editing.
I love to do the podcastrecording and just recording
videos, but I don't like theediting.
So now I've got somebody doingsomething they love to do and
doing it way better than ever Icould do it and it's saving me
time and it is saving me a lotof time to do that.

(04:01):
The third thing and this is oneI haven't gotten rid of yet
because I don't do it too much, but it's some people have a ton
of emails.
I'm I don't have a ton, or atleast I don't feel like I get a
ton.
You know, maybe it depends onthe day.
It could be up to 30 or 40 aday.
I've never had hundreds orthousands of emails at a time,
but I know a lot of people thatdo, and so this is just another

(04:22):
way that you could start savingsome time is actually having a
virtual assistant go in andorganize your email.
They can organize it byimportance, by categories,
creating folders.
They can go in and actuallyrespond to certain things on
your behalf, especially if it'svery simple requests like, hey,
I want to book a time with you.
Okay, john, here's a link.
You can book a time with meusing this link.

(04:44):
Appreciate your time, have agood day, and they can be
impersonating you by being inyour email, like that, but
they're able to organize it soyou can focus on the things that
actually matter and actuallyanswering some of those as well.
And so those are the threemajor things that I see most
people delegating tasks to tovirtual assistants.
But those three things socialmedia management, video editing

(05:06):
and content creation and emailmanagement are three ways that
you can start to buy back timein your day.
And if you would like some helpwith that, if you want to
explore more of what that wouldlook like, we're happy to help
you out at Refined VA, to beable to help you through those
things.
So just reach out and talk tous about how to delegate your

(05:29):
task today.
