or above and or a sport bikefor that matter. And so I thought

about trying it out. There's aused one at the local Ducatti dealer here
that it basically has everything done toit. It's got extra fucking carbon on
it, It's gotten a full Ithink it's pronounced tarramid GIONI. I always

termogi, yeah, I can't doit. But the it's got that the

full exhaust two to one on that. And Ducati makes a special you SeeU
map to accommodate that that exhaust forthat bike. So it's basically totally set

just barely used. So I wasthinking about getting that and trying it out

But anyway, motorcycles have kind ofturned into something I'm more passionate about even
than cars. I think in alarge to a large degree because of the
amount of traffic around here. Isthat it's it's very rare that you can

pare it down to having one fastcar that I enjoy driving, that I
just drive probably on the weekends orlater at night when you can actually go

Whereas on a bike you can stillhave fun even in traffic because you can
split lanes and and just being ona bike is fun by itself, even

ripping your face off to enjoy ridinga motorcycle. I think it's because it's
there's no protection it's you're more aware, you're surroundings, you're feeling yea,

you feel the wind. I mean, it's just that, Yeah, it's
a different experience. I mean,to me, the best analogy I can
use, it's kind of like flyinga plane versus jumping out of one.
Yeah, you know, flying itobviously is like driving a car versus jumping
out is more like being on amotorcycle. It's just like this three hundred
and sixty degree freedom awareness feeling thatthat's pretty special. Okay, So here's

new V four s. Everything youhave right now motorcycle wise, and even

it would probably be the M.I would say the Aprilia is a close

the interesting I think dichotomy is aboutthe Apprelia is that it the chassis is
incredible in the steering is really reallyheavy, which in some ways is awesome
because it gives you a ton ofconfidence to to really push the bike harder
than I would a bike that ismore you know, flickable from a steering

and handling standpoint. So it's adouble edged sword that way. The plantability
and the confidence that you get takesaway from the fun of being able to
be precision oriented and how you steerit what I really like about but what
to me that the Apprelia is areally really fucking good bike. Though it's
smooth, it rides well, it'seasy to ride. The biggest thing that

I like about that bike is howmuch fucking power it has everywhere, um,
you know, doing sixty to onethirty and top end stuff. It's
not as impressive as the BMW oreven the and especially the the SP.
Like the SP is actually the fastestof all the bikes that I've had with

the brand tune on it. It'sa low, low three sixty to one
thirty bike, whereas everything else's highthree or low four. But um,
for me in my riding ability,it doesn't really matter. They're all really
fast when you're getting up I mean, yeah, on the street, it's
going to outperform you. Yeah.And and to me, all of those

bikes up when you're pushing it atthe top end of the rev range and
speed range, they're all the samefor me because I'm not good enough to
ride it where you're pushing the bike, you know, for a guy that
is, they're going to notice abig difference between the bikes up at that
level, I don't, you know. To me, the the Ducati,

the Apprelia, the BMW, theyall feel about the same up top.
To me, they're all really fuckingfast, you know, faster to where
like I'm not, you know,gunning the fucking throttles as fast as it
will go, you know. Yeah, so oh yeah, just in second
gear right now, but when Iactually get out into in the third,

fourth or even fifth gear. Butthe so for me, it's it's really
more about, you know, thethe amount of torque and grunt and accessible
power and torque that you have atlower rev ranges. And the Apprelia,
hands down, has way more fuckingpower down low than everything else, even

out of the fucking gate, thatApprelia, when you fucking give it,
it just has loads of fucking torquedown low, which when you're just riding
around the street is what makes thatthe most fun, you know, so
riding around town, like if theApprelia just had lighter steering, that would
probably be my favorite bike. Um. But all things considered now and having

spent time, you know, Iput almost four thousand miles on the Apprelia,
put almost two thousand on the mnow, um, you know,
and I've got I probably only haveseven or eight hundred on the Super illig
Era. There's almost fifteen hundred onit. But old t Rippies put put
a fair number of miles on that, that fucking beast. So um,

But yeah, I think you knowright now, all things considered, I
would probably take the m As asa soul bike even over the Apprelia,
because the steering is just so muchbetter for me, at least in what
I enjoy, um, you know, handling and steering wise, it's it's
more comfortable, the seating position isbetter, it's smoother, and it's it's

actually a little faster. Again,where it's faster to me is kind of
irrelevant. They're both stupid fast.But so yeah, I would say that

more highway riding and all honesty,the bike we could get the most out

that the M to me is lookswise. To me, it goes
the super Lagierra, the SP andthe M. Yeah, and in that

it's in my opinion, it ison par with the super Lageria in pictures.
It does not come across that way. The super Lagaria photographs really well.

that are standard on that bike.Where's everything else? She's That's one of
the few bikes other than the superLageria, that you can sit there and

seems like over the last couple ofyears, each year their bikes have actually

year that I have, it's it'sokay, but it does look kind of
cheap in a lot of places.The twenty twenty two is look like they've

very curious because looking at the Mone thousand, especially yours, if you
don't get the competition package, whichI didn't know till the other day,

like four or five thousand more thatthe one. The non competitions you can,

is that there's only five hundred ofthe M one thousands. I mean,

one. And immediately writing the MI noticed Tho's like, holy shit,
this thing's way fucking better. Andwhat I don't understand is I've seen a

number of reviews that compare the Sone thousand M package, you know,
the red, white and blue onewith the carbon wheels, and it's closer
to the M one thousand and theM one thousand, and every single one
of them is like, yeah,it's disappointing, it's not worth the extra

make up for it is that theyhandle way better and they're much more competent

know, just provide so much confidenceand stability and unnoticeable level of of you

but it's something you've got to kindof get ready for, and it's it's
a it's a lot of bike toto manage, and it's kind of exhausting
and there's times where that's exactly whatI want and it's super rewarding to have
that, and there's other times wherelike I just want to jump on the
bike and enjoy it and not haveto think so fucking hard about it,

and that, you know, theM is the way to go for that.
So to me, it's like Iwould spend way more time riding the
M, Like that'd be like thebike that I'd ride most days, and
then the super blgier would be theweekend kind of more special occasion wouldn't ride
as much. But when you do, it's it's like, holy shit,
that's a fucking bike, you know, just just different, But that's the
bike when you're fucking having one ofthose days you want to forget work,

jump you get get all that out. Yeah, like you want to go
exercise the fucking demons, then yeah, but I will say you can do
that on the fucking M one thousandand two, because I mean it's fast
and capable enough to where like whenyou really push it, like you can
push that fucking bike hard, youknow, and and still really enjoy it.
So it's it's a really neat kindof best of both worlds almost jackal

and hide. That way is thatif you want to just cruise around town
and be comfortable and leisurely and it'seasy and comfortable and not thinking whatever,
