Change doesn’t always roar. Sometimes it whispers through a cold morning wind and a canopy of red maples, asking us to release what we’ve outgrown and trust what we can’t yet see. We lean into that whisper and explore a powerful reframe: doubt isn’t a flaw to hide; it’s proof that our values are alive and we’re weighing what matters with care.

We unpack the idea that life is a million decisions—tiny daily choices and the rare leaps that redirect everything—and we map the space in between where uncertainty lives. Using autumn as our guide, we talk about how to stop resisting the season you’re in, how to conserve energy for what truly matters, and how to build strength beneath the surface while the world sees less of you. You’ll hear personal moments of resisting change, the freedom that followed letting go, and the gentle practices that keep courage steady when the path feels foggy.

You’ll also get a simple breath routine to settle your nervous system—inhale courage, exhale doubt; inhale belief, exhale fear—plus affirmations designed to translate self-trust into action. Together we connect reflection with movement: releasing one outdated commitment, planting one new seed, and choosing one brave step you can take today. If you’ve been waiting for certainty before you act, here’s your sign to move anyway, with roots deepening and confidence growing. Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s navigating a season of change, and leave a review to tell us what you’re ready to let go of next.

SPEAKER_00 (00:29):
A Million Decisions, Finding Strength in the Seasons
of Change.
Welcome back to Unleash YourInner Radiance.
I'm Lisa, your catalyst life, wellness, and transformation
coach and real estate agent inthe state of Minnesota.
And today we are going to diveinto something that really hits

(00:50):
close to the heart.
As I sit here with my warm cupof coffee, and yes, I am
drinking a nice nitro cup ofcoffee.
I'm, you know, I'm just sittinghere looking out at the
Minnesota trees.
They're so painted, so pretty atthis time of the year, right?

(01:14):
They're painted in gold and rustand fiery red.
And I can't help but feel likeautumn has something to teach us
every single year.
You know, you got the crisp air,the way the leaves go so

(01:34):
beautifully, and the wind thatcan be both smooth and stir up
so much.
Kind of like today, it is reallycold outside.
It is really crisp outside.
And it all feels like a mirrorof our lives, doesn't it?
It's like change is coming, it'sconstant, and it can be so

(02:00):
powerful if we allow it to be.
I read something this morningthat literally stopped me in my
tracks.
And I don't know, it just waslike, wow, it just hit me right
in the heart.
And here it is.

(02:22):
It's life is a milliondecisions, big and small.
Feeling unsure doesn't meanyou're not sure.
It means you're strong.
Faced out, own it, and pushforward.
Wow.
Just let that sink in for aminute.

(02:47):
Because life is like a milliondecisions.
It is.
We make thousands and thousandsof choices every single day.
Some so small that we barelynotice that we made that
decision, and others thatcompletely shift the direction

(03:09):
of our lives.
What to say, what to forgive, whether to try again, or maybe
to finally let go.
In between all those choiceslives something that most of us
don't talk about enough.

(03:31):
Doubt.
Doubt.
That usually is what causes usto stand still.
But what if we're looking atdoubt all wrong?
What if doubt isn't weakness, but evidence that we actually

(03:56):
truly care?
That we're thoughtful, intentional, brave enough to
weigh what matters to us.
Every time you feel uncertain,it's not a sign that you're
lost.
It is a sign that you'regrowing.

(04:19):
How many times do you sit indoubt?
And then think, that's megrowing?
I don't think we do becausenormally when I'm sitting in
doubt, I'm like, what am Idoing?
Why am I doing this?

(04:40):
But that's when the windwhispers change.
This time of the year, I lovestepping outside and feeling the
wind.
It's powerful, it'sunpredictable, and it's really
cleansing, especially thismorning, because it is really
windy and really chilly inMinnesota.
And honestly, it reminds me oflife because sometimes that wind

(05:05):
is gentle and it's comforting.
But what if that wind, as I'mwatching the leaves blow, that
change is clearing the way towhat no longer belongs in our

(05:30):
lives.
It's just like the trees don'tfight the season, they just
change their colors and theleaves fall off, right?
Maybe we aren't meant to either.

(05:51):
Think about all the times, oractually, I think about all the
times, I have resisted change.
Clinging to what I felt wassafe, even when I knew it wasn't
serving me.
And there are times where I sitand I think of opportunities

(06:16):
that were presented to me, andhow different my life right now
would be if I had taken thosechange chances, accepted those
changes, accepted what was putin front of me.
Because life would be radicallydifferently, different, I think.

(06:42):
And then it makes me stop andwonder when those opportunities
were presented to me, why did Iresist them?
What in my life at that point intime made me resist them?
Did it feel safe?

(07:03):
Was it serving me to stay there?
But then again, I also rememberthe moments where I finally let
go.
And I knew how freeing it was.
So maybe today that's yourreminder.

(07:23):
You are capable of amazingthings.
Even when you're scared, evenwhen you doubt yourself, even
when you can't see what's next.
Because the truth is there isstrength beneath the surface.

(07:45):
You know, when you look at atree in the fall, especially
like those gorgeous red maples,it's easy to get caught up in
what's being lost.
The leaves, because you look atthe trees and you think, wow,
we've got what they call peakseason in Minnesota, where the

(08:10):
trees are all vibrantly yellowsand reds and oranges and just
absolutely gorgeous.
And there the color is sobeautiful, and the fullness of
the leaves is so much there.
But underneath the surface, there's something so much more

(08:32):
powerful happening.
That tree is conserving energy,it's strengthening its roots,
it's preparing for the nextseason of growth.
We're kind of the same way, andwe go dormant in other ways.

(08:57):
You know, we have those momentswhen we feel stripped bare, when
life feels quite uncertain, andit's quiet, and you're just
you're just kind of in thatzone.
And there's those times whenwe're building the deepest

(09:18):
strength.
It's funny because I got a voicemessage from a friend, and she
knows when I get super busy, Ijust get super quiet, right?
And to me, I kind of retreat.
So that's kind of what I've beendoing the last couple of weeks.
So I'm not quite sure what'scoming, but that's what's

(09:40):
happening.
So this is what I want you toremember today is you are
allowed to rest.
You are allowed to have, you areallowed to not have it all
figured out.
You are allowed to feel unsureand still move forward anyway.

(10:02):
So I retreated, I've beenresting, I don't have it all
figured out.
I'm not sure why I feel unsure, but I'm still moving forward.
Because you have that choice tobelieve in yourself.
Let's let's bring back thatquote: feeling unsure doesn't

(10:24):
mean you're not sure.
It means you're strong.
Because strength doesn't alwaysroar like a big old lion.
Sometimes it whispers.
Keep going.
Keep going.
It's easy to believe in yourselfwhen everything is clear.

(10:52):
But it's transformational tobelieve in yourself when it's
not.
Who's in it for thetransformation?
Because that's what we want.
When you can look in the mirrorand say, I don't know exactly

(11:14):
how this will turn out, but Iknow I'll figure it out.
That's real power.
So I needed a sip of coffee.
You've done hard things before.
You've walked through storms, you've walked through
heartbreaks, you've walkedthrough uncertainty, and yet

(11:39):
here you are.
Still showing up, still choosinggrowth.
That's not by accident.
That's by resilience.
That's divine strength at workwithin you.
That's powerful.

(12:01):
So we're gonna reflect a littlebit, and I'm gonna give you a
little bit of an affirmationbecause I like to do that,
right?
Okay, so let's take a breathtogether.
And I want you to pause for fiveseconds.
So I want you to breathe in,courage, a deep breath in,
breathing in courage, and then adeep breath out.

(12:26):
You're gonna breathe outself-doubt.
Then you're gonna breathe inagain.
You're gonna breathe in belief.
Then you're gonna breathe outagain.
We're gonna breathe out fear.
So in for five, out for five, infor belief, out for fear.

(12:53):
Then I want you to repeat afterme, either out loud or just in
your heart.
I am capable of amazing things.
I trust the process of my life.
I release what no longer servesme.
I embrace what's unfolding forme.

(13:14):
I am strong even when I'munsure.
Let these words settle into yoursoul, like roots grounding into
the earth.
I'll put that reflection in theshow notes, of course.

(13:36):
So I want you to invite No, Iwant to no, I don't want to to
invite.
I want to invite you to reflectand connect.
Because as you move through thisweek, through this absolutely
gorgeous season.

(13:57):
If you're not where you can seethe leaves changing, I'm sorry.
It's absolutely stunning.
I want you to pay attention tothe moments of doubt that arise.
Notice them.
Welcome them.
Yeah, welcome, welcome in.
And remind yourself that theyare not the enemy.

(14:21):
They are in an invitation todeepen your trust.
And if this episode resonatedwith you, I would love for you
