Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hello, my radiant souls, and welcome back to
another episode of Unleash yourInner Radiance.
I'm Lisa Dorn, your life andtransformation coach, real
estate agent here in thebeautifully chilly Minnesota,
and international author.
Today's episode is aboutturning the page to a brand new

(00:23):
year.
Turning the page to a brand newyear.
It's about dreams, goals andmaking 2025 a year where you are
not only going to survive butalso thrive.
We're diving deep into themagic of discovering your
passion and your calling, building resilience after

(00:44):
setbacks like betrayal andself-sabotage.
Because we do that to ourselvesand aligning with your purpose,
let's step into 2025 with hope, power and unshakable
determination.
Are you ready?
Let's go First.

(01:06):
We're going to reflect on thepast year.
Before we look forward, let'stake a moment to reflect on your
2024.
What did this past year teachyou?
What were the moments oftriumph?
What about heartbreak, disappointment or even betrayal?

(01:28):
I want you to grab a journal orjust take a mental snapshot
right now and ask yourself thesequestions One, what worked this
year?
Two, what didn't?
Three, what's something you'reproud of?

(01:53):
Four, and what's the one thingyou wish you could redo?
Reflection isn't about beatingourselves up.
It's about gathering data datathat helps us move forward
stronger and wiser.

(02:13):
Let's piece together and let'smake peace with where we are and
then pivot our focus to wherewe're going.
Where is it that you want to go?
One of the biggest hurdles thatI see people face when they're

(02:39):
setting goals is that they don'tfeel connected to their goals.
Is that they don't feelconnected to their goals?
They're just doing what theythink they should do, rather
than what lights up their soul.
So what lights your soul onfire?
Because here's the thing yourpassion and calling don't always

(03:02):
announce themselves with a big, loud voice.
Sometimes they're whispers.
They show up as things that youkeep coming back to, Things
that you can't stop thinkingabout.
So let's do a little exercisetogether.

(03:24):
I want you to ask yourselfthese three questions.
One, what do I love to do?
The kind of thing that makes melose track of time.
Two, what's something thatpeople always compliment me on
or seek advice about?

(03:45):
Three, and here's the big onewhat would you do even if you
knew you would fail?
What would I do even if I knewI might fail?

(04:05):
Your answers to these questionsmight just hold the key to your
passion or your calling.
So, once you have identified it, write it down, put it
somewhere visual and let 2025 bethe year you step boldly toward
it.

(04:29):
Now I want to move to talkingabout something a little harder,
something that hurts Peopleletting you down.
Betrayal People letting youdown.

(04:51):
Betrayal the pain of realizingyou've been standing in your own
way.
These are really heavy topics, but they're also important
because they shape how we moveforward.
So first let's address betrayaland disappointment.
Maybe someone you trust hadhurt you, or maybe a situation

(05:13):
didn't pan out the way you'dhoped.
Here's the truth I've learnedthe hard way.
Their actions don't define you.
Your response does, and trustme when I know that's harder to
take than it is.
You have the power to releasethat pain and set boundaries

(05:43):
that protect your peace, movingforward, Because forgiveness
doesn't mean forgetting.
It means freeing yourself fromthe burden of carrying that hurt
.
Now let's talk self-sabotage,because that is something we do

(06:04):
to ourselves, and this one ispersonal, because we've all been
there, skipping the gym when wesaid we'd go, procrastinating
on that big dream, talkingourselves out of opportunities
because we were afraid to fail.
Self-sabotage usually comesfrom fear Fear of change, fear

(06:32):
of success or even fear of notbeing enough.
Here's the antidoteSelf-awareness and
self-compassion, Because we'renot compassionate with ourselves
enough.

(06:52):
Recognize the patterns, Callthem out and then choose
differently, Because baby stepscount.
So we're going to go forprogress over perfection always.

(07:16):
Now I want to end this withsetting goals and creating your
vision for 2025.
Because it's time to dream big.
What do you want 2025 to looklike?
Imagine you're sitting here oneyear from now reflecting on the

(07:39):
most amazing year of your life.
What happened?
What did you achieve?
How did you grow?
Now let's break those dreamsdown into actionable goals.
I like to use the SMARTframework.
We're going to go specific, measurable, achievable, relevant

(08:03):
and time-bound.
So, for example, instead ofsaying I want to get healthy,
you might say I will go to thegym three times a week and meal
prep on Sundays for the nextthree months.
How does that sound?

(08:23):
That sounds easy, doesn't it?
It's like oh, I can do that forthree months.
I can do that, but if we don'tset them that way, they seem too
huge and unrealistic.
But I also want you to rememberto check in with your goals

(08:49):
regularly.
I love using vision boards forthis, like a visual reminder of
what you're working towards.
Put it on the wall, put it onthe mirror, put it on your
computer.
You know, just every time youopen your computer, it's there.
Surround yourself with yourvision, so that you're always

(09:12):
looking at what you're workingtowards.
And then I want you to surroundyourself with people who lift
you up, who encourage you andwho remind you of your why and,
most importantly, celebrate yourwins, no matter how small they
seem.
So here's to your radiant 2025.

(09:42):
I want you to remember myfriends 2025 is yours for the
taking Dream big, Set audaciousbig, huge, audacious goals.
Stay resilient through thetough times, even though that's
tougher said than done, andnever forget that you are worthy

(10:05):
of a life filled with passion, purpose and joy.
If you enjoyed this episode, Iwould absolutely love for you to
share it with a friend andleave a review.
Let's spread this message ofhope and empowerment far and
wide and, if you are ready todive deeper into creating your

(10:29):
dream life, connect with me onsocial media or visit my website
at changeyourlifewithlisacomwebsite at
changeyourlifewithlisacom.
Let's work together to make2025 the year you unleash your
inner radiance.
Until next time, keep shining, keep dreaming and keep stepping

(10:54):
into your power.
This is Lisa Dorn, and I can'twait to see you in the next
episode.
Cheers to an amazing 2025.
