Do you ever question if what you're doing really matters? If those small, brave acts of showing up make any difference at all? This heartfelt conversation dives deep into the quiet power of authenticity and how the ripples of your courage extend far beyond what you can see.

Greatness isn't about followers or accolades – it's about who you are in every moment, especially when no one's watching. When you honor your commitments to yourself and live with integrity, you build a foundation of confidence that external validation can never provide. Those 20 seconds of fear when your heart pounds and your hands shake? That's where transformation happens.

We all fall into the comparison trap, scrolling through social media and hearing that whisper: "You'll never get there." But every successful person once stood exactly where you are now. They didn't wake up successful; they started at zero, failed, learned, and most importantly, showed up consistently. Your success comes from commitment to your process, not from comparing your beginning to someone else's middle chapter.

What makes this journey meaningful is the ripple effect your authenticity creates. That friend who finally takes a brave step because they saw yours, the stranger who heard your words at exactly the right moment, the child learning from your example – your courage shapes the world in ways you may never fully witness. When you show up as your unfiltered, imperfect, real self, you give others permission to do the same.

You don't need a massive platform to make a profound difference. Sometimes the quietest gestures become the catalyst that changes someone's life. Your light is needed, and the ripple effect you're creating is far more powerful than you could ever imagine. Ready to release what's holding you back? Check out my forgiveness course, designed to help you step into the freedom and purpose you deserve.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey there, beautiful souls, welcome back to another
episode of Unleash your InnerRadiance.
I'm Lisa, your coach, yourcheerleader and your fellow
traveler on this incrediblejourney of growth, balance and
transformation.
Today's conversation is onethat hits close to my heart
because it's something I'velived, I've struggled with and

(00:24):
continue to grow through.
We're diving into the power ofshowing up, giving your best and
embracing the ripple effectthat your authenticity creates
in this world.
Even when you can't see it,even when you don't believe it,

(00:44):
you're actually making an impact.
Because here's the truthGreatness isn't a score.
It's not about how manyfollowers you have, how many
accolades you've earned, or howloudly the world is clapping for
you or how loudly the world isclapping for you.
It's about who you are being inevery single moment, how you

(01:12):
show up when no one is watching, and the quiet strength that
comes from living with integrityand giving it your best, not
for anyone else, but for you.
So if you've ever doubted yourworth, questioned your impact or

(01:35):
felt paralyzed by the fear ofnot being enough, this episode
is for you not being enough.
This episode is for you Showingup for yourself.
I want to start with somethingthat changed everything for me

(02:01):
the realization that pride inyourself doesn't come from
perfection.
It comes from integrity.
I've learned that perfection iskind of a bad thing, right.
It isn't something that reallysupports us or moves us forward.
So I want to be honest with you.
There were days when I wanted toquit podcasting before I even

(02:23):
really started, when I wanted toquit podcasting before I even
really started.
When I hit my two year, Ithought about stopping

(02:53):
podcasting because I didn't goodenough to succeed in this space
.
I would sit there asking myselfyou know, who do you think you
are and why would anyone listento you?
And even though my podcast Imean I have 120 episodes, but

(03:13):
even at that it just even whenyou've got listeners, you still
think these things, right, youstill say these things to
yourself.
Why would anyone listen to me?
But here's what I've learnedthose 20 seconds of fear, the

(03:36):
ones where your heart ispounding, your hands are shaking
, are where everything shifts.
When you step through that fearand show up anyway, you build a
quiet kind of pride that no onecan take away from you.

(03:58):
I've been on a few calls thelast few days that have
literally been transformationalfor me.
They have really given meclarity and given me focus, and
that focus is just me holdingmyself to the highest integrity

(04:22):
for myself, and what this is isme transforming and it's really
kind of cool.
So I want you guys to show upfor yourself.
I want you to honor yourcommitments, and I want you to
specifically honor thecommitment to yourself.

(04:43):
You to specifically honor thecommitment to yourself, because
doing that is the ultimate formof integrity, and when you do
that, when you'll find peace andconfidence that no amount of

(05:09):
outside validation can replace,no amount of outside noise can
interrupt, and we all get stuckin this comparison trap.
So let's talk a little bit moreabout that, because we all do

(05:36):
it.
I do it and I'm trying not to doit, because I can't compare
where I am right now to someoneelse's journey, because I'm not
them and I need to remember that.
And it's really hard becauseyou see people that are just

(05:57):
like thriving in MLMs orthriving in coaching or thriving
in podcasting, and all I can dois say at one point they were
where I am right now.
So I just need to step back andthink about that, right,

(06:21):
because I've fallen into thattrap so many times, scrolling
through social media, seeingother podcasters or coaches,
absolutely killing it andhearing that little voice in my
head whispering you will neverget there.
Why even try?

(06:44):
But here is the truth that weforget in those moments Like I
was just talking about.
Every single one of thosepeople who we admire were once
where we are right now.
They didn't wake up successful.

(07:08):
They started at zero, just likeme, just like you, if you're
starting something new.
They leaned in, they learned, they failed, they showed up.
They showed up anyway, andthat's how they got there.

(07:28):
That's how they got successfulby taking the steps and moving
forward.
So, instead of lettingcomparison paralyze you, I want
to remind you that you're simplyin a different chapter of your
story.
You might have the same story, but you're in a different

(07:50):
chapter of that story.
So face your fears and, mostimportantly, hold yourself to
your own highest integrity, because your success will come
from your commitments to theprocess, not from comparing your
beginning to someone else'smiddle.

(08:13):
This brings us to the rippleeffect, and here's the beautiful
thing about showing up itcreates ripples that you may

(08:35):
never see.
Sometimes it feels like you'redoing.
What you're doing is it isn'tmaking a difference.
Making a difference.
You wonder if anybody noticesright, or if your efforts, like

(08:56):
me doing this podcast, evenmatter at all.
I've been there too.
I've been there.
I've been there a lot.
Right, I go to that space a lot, but here's what I do know now
your courage, your authenticity, your willingness to give it
your best.
It doesn't just impact you, itquietly inspires the people

(09:22):
around you.
It's like dropping a pebbleinto a pond the splash might
feel small, but the ripples thattravel, they travel farther

(09:43):
than you'll ever see.
And maybe it's the friend whofinally takes a brave step,
because they saw you take yours.
Maybe it's that stranger whoheard your words at exactly the
right moment.
Maybe your child is watching, learning from your example.

(10:03):
Maybe my daughters are watchinglearning from my example.
Even if you don't see the fullscope of your impact, it's there
.
Every single act of courage, every moment you show up

(10:24):
authentically, is shaping theworld around you in ways that
you may never fully understand.
That's why we show upauthentically, right, because
authenticity, it is a gamechanger.
When you show up as your trueself, you give other people the

(10:48):
permission to do the same.
As your true self, you giveother people the permission to
do the same.
That kind of courage is reallycontagious.
But I'll be honest, it's notalways easy, you know.
There are times when I wanted tofit into the mold, to do things

(11:08):
the way everyone else was doingthem, because it felt safer.
And that's kind of the thing weget stuck in, right, we all
want to stay safe.
But every time I stepped awayfrom my truth it felt heavy,
kind of forced and way out ofalignment.

(11:30):
And that moment I finally choseto show up as fully as me, as
true and fully as me, unfiltered, imperfect but real.
And that's when the magicstarted to happen.

(11:52):
Because what I learned is Ican't be like anyone else, right
?
Like I said before, I can'tcompare myself to their middle
or to their end, which probablyisn't their end, but anyway, I'm
like three to five years behindany people that I watch, right?

(12:15):
So I need to show up as me,because showing up as me
authentically is going to makethe biggest impact and truly,
that is where the magic happens, because then you touch
someone's heart, you touchsomeone's soul.
If I can change just one lifewith each episode or help just

(12:44):
one person learn something aboutthemselves with each episode,
that means the absolute world tome.
And here's what's wild You'llnever really know the full reach

(13:05):
of your authenticity.
I may never know it.
You may never know or never seethe lives that you've touched,
the sparks that you've ignitedor the strength you've given
someone else who needed it.
But your influence is there andit's rippling out in ways

(13:31):
bigger than you could everimagine, and that's something
that I have to remember everytime I do an episode.
I just have to remember that, and it's hard right, because we
all underestimate our impact.
Because we all underestimateour impact.

(13:52):
Here's where vulnerability hitsreally hard for me, because so
many of us underestimate ourinfluence.
I've done it, I still do it,thinking what I'm doing doesn't
matter or how about?

(14:14):
No one would even notice if Istopped.
But then, out of the blue, someone will message me and say
that something I shared helpedthem through a tough moment.
And every single time itreminds me that we rarely see

(14:40):
the full scope of our impact, because your presence, your
words, your kindness they mattermore than you think.
You don't need a massiveplatform to make a massive
difference.
Sometimes the quietest gestures, the smile, the kind message,

(15:06):
the willingness to listen, become the moment that changes
someone's day or even their life.
So stop underestimatingyourself.
Your light, your energy isneeded, your story is needed,
and that ripple effect you'recreating is far more powerful

(15:30):
than you could ever imagine.
Wow, that was a conversationright?
Oh, my goodness.
Okay.
So if you take one thing fromthis episode, let it be this

(15:53):
Greatness isn't about the score, the follow count, who cares
who's following you, who careswho's liking your stuff or who
cares who's applauding you.
It's about the quiet integrityof showing up for yourself and
the unseen ripple effects thatyou create when you choose

(16:15):
courage over fear, authenticityover perfection and progress
over comparison.
And if part of your journeymeans working through pain, hurt
and the weight of unforgiveness, please know that you don't

(16:44):
