Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome back to another episode of Unleash your
Inner Radiance.
It's still Love Yourself.
February, and today we arediving into something that will
change the way you see yourselfJournaling.
Now, before you think, lisa,I've tried journaling before and
it didn't work for me.
Hear me out, because I alwaysstruggle with journaling.

(00:24):
So I want you to know this.
This isn't just about writingwords on a page.
It's about stepping into yourpower, choosing you and seeing
yourself the way you were alwaysmeant to be seen.
And yes, I, to this day, dostill struggle with journaling,

(00:48):
and so I want to start achallenge, right, if we can
journal every single day.
Because here's the truthSelf-love isn't about bubble
baths and affirmations.
It's about doing the deep workof honoring yourself, of
recognizing your worth orlistening to your own voice

(01:12):
above the noise of the world, and journaling it's one of the
best ways to do that.
So today we're going to start aradiant self-love journaling
challenge and, trust me, by theend of this you are going to
feel a whole new level ofappreciation for the beautiful,

(01:35):
powerful, unstoppable you.
I am Lisa Dorn, your life andtransformation coach, real
estate agent in the state ofMinnesota and best-selling
author.
If last week's episode onletting go of guilt, overcoming
self-sabotage and buildingresilience spoke to you, then
today's episode is going to takethings to an even deeper level.

(01:57):
We are talking about self-lovetrue, deep, unwavering self-love
and how we can transform ourpain into resilience and
radiance.
If you have not listened to myspecial Valentine's Day episode,
go listen now and come back, journaling a mirror to your soul

(02:18):
.
Let's get real for a second.
Let's get real for a second.
How often do you actually taketime to check in with yourself,
not just think about your to-dolist or replay an argument from
three days ago in your head, butto really ask yourself how am I

(02:43):
, what do I need, what do I want?
Okay, those three questions howam I, what do I need and what
do I want are three powerfulquestions.
Journaling is one of the mostpowerful ways to answer these

(03:03):
three questions because itforces you to slow down and
actually listen to yourself.
Slow down and actually listento yourself, and let me tell you
something when you write thereal you comes out, the parts of
you that have been silenced, the dreams you have pushed down,

(03:25):
the emotions you haven't givenyourself permission to feel.
It all starts to pour into andonto the page, and that's where
healing happens.
It's where self-love deepens.

(03:47):
So I'm going to give you guys achallenge 21 things you love
and appreciate about yourself.
So now let's get to today'sself-love challenge.
This is one challenge that isgoing to push you in the best
way.
I want you to write down 21things you love and appreciate

(04:13):
about yourself Not things otherpeople have told you, not things
you think you should say,Things that are deeply,
beautifully true about you, andI know this might feel really
super hard and some of you mightbe able to rattle off five

(04:37):
things and then suddenly yourmind goes blank.
That's okay, because this isthe work, because part of
self-love is practicing, seeingyourself with love.
And if you get stuck, thinkabout moments where you felt

(05:00):
proud of yourself, times whenyou showed up, even when it was
hard, qualities that you knowmake you uniquely you.
And if you need a little help, here are a few prompts to get
you started.
One, what is something kind youhave done for someone?

(05:25):
Two, what is a strength that Ihave that I don't always give
myself credit for?
Three, what is something I'veovercome that proves just how
strong I am?
Four, what is something aboutmy body, mind or heart that I

(05:52):
genuinely love.
Write these down, let yourselffeel them and, if you're feeling
brave, say them out loud.
Own them, because this is youand you are worth celebrating.

(06:16):
Choosing you that is the mostradical act of self-love.
There is nothing bigger thanchoosing you, than choosing you

(06:38):
this month isn't just aboutself-love.
It's about stepping into themost unapologetic, authentic
version of you, and that meansmaking a commitment, one small
but powerful act of self-lovethat you can do for yourself,
starting today.

(06:58):
So here's your next challenge, because I am really enjoying
self-love February and I lovethe challenges that I'm giving
you guys to do.
So I want you to pick onesimple thing that you will
commit to doing for yourself toshow yourself self-love, and it

(07:19):
could be something simple likethis Giving yourself 10 minutes
of quiet time every morningbefore checking your phone,
drinking more water and actuallytaking care of your body,
setting a boundary and notapologizing for it.

(07:39):
Trading yourself to somethingsmall just because you deserve
joy.
Writing down one thing you aregrateful for about yourself
every single day.
Now I just gave you five things.

(08:00):
Pick one.
Do it for seven days.
The key here is to keep itsimple, but keep it real.
Keep it something that actuallyfills you up, because self-love

(08:21):
isn't about perfection.
It's about choosing yourselfover and over and over again.
So your self-love story startsnow.
Because, my beautiful souls, Iwant to make this month one

(08:42):
where you stop waiting.
Stop waiting for permission tolove yourself, stop waiting for
someone else to validate you, stop waiting for some day to
finally put yourself first.
This is your time, this is yourlife.
Step into it, own it and loveit.

(09:05):
And don't forget, if you want togo deeper into this journey, my
Resilient Radiance course isstill available for Love
Yourself February.
This course is designed to helpyou break through anger,
resentment and self-doubt andstep into the true, lasting
self-love.

signature program is for you.

love about yourself.
