Imagine looking into the mirror and finally seeing someone who is worthy of love and kindness. That's exactly what we're exploring today as we continue our journey beyond episode 101 of the Radiant Souls podcast. I'm Lisa Dorn, and I'm thrilled to guide you through the transformative world of self-love, where healing and personal growth are more than just buzzwords—they're life-changing practices. As we peel back the layers of guilt, shame, and self-sabotage, we'll uncover the power of forgiveness for both ourselves and others. It's all about embracing your true self and letting go of the emotional baggage that's been weighing you down.

In our latest episode, we delve into the profound shifts that come with consistently choosing yourself—because self-love is a lifelong journey, not a destination. I'll share insights about my "Resilient Radiance" program, designed to help you release those burdens and fully embrace your inherent worth. Join me in reflecting on your self-love breakthroughs, and let's spread this empowering message to those who need it most. Whether you're facing the mirror for the first time or the hundredth, remember: you're worthy of love, and your inner radiance is waiting to be unleashed.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back.
Radiant Souls.
Can you believe it?
Episode 101.
I am like so super excited.
If you guys didn't listen to my100th episode, which fell on
Valentine's Day, please go backand listen to it, because it was
amazing.
What a journey this has beenand I am beyond grateful for
every single one of you.

(00:20):
Today we are diving even deeperinto self-love because, let's
be honest, this journey is neverending.
It's about peeling back layers, healing old wounds and stepping
fully into the radiant, powerful version of ourselves
that we are always meant to be.

(00:42):
I'm Lisa Dorn, your life andtransformation coach, real
estate agent in the state ofMinnesota and best-selling
author, which I became last July.
If last week's episode onletting go of guilt, overcoming
self-sabotage, and Valentine'sDay about building resilience
spoke to you, then today'sepisode is going to take things

(01:05):
even deeper.
We are talking about self-lovetrue, deep, unwavering self-love
, and how we can transform ourpast pain into resilience and
radiance.
And we did that in the 100thepisode on Valentine's Day.
If you have not listened to it,please go back and listen now.

(01:26):
Okay, checking in on yourchallenge.
The last time I challenged youto take real action on your
self-love journey.
Maybe you took a small step, setting a boundary, speaking
kinder to yourself, choosingrest without guilt, which I did
yesterday.
I took a two hour nap, or maybeyou dug deep and faced

(01:48):
something big.
Whatever it was, I want you toknow how did it feel, what
resistance came up and, mostly, what did you learn about
yourself?
And mostly, what did you learnabout yourself?
If you listened to my 100thepisode?
On Valentine's Day, I asked youto write a letter to yourself.

(02:13):
I want to know how many peopledid that.
How did that make you feel whenyou read it out loud?
I would really like to hearfrom you on that, because

(02:40):
writing a letter to yourself andshowing the kindness and love
for your younger self that youneeded at that time is life
changing.
So I really hope you listenedto the 100th episode and I
really hope that you wrote theletter to yourself, and I want
to hear from you, please, because I want to know if it
changed your life or if itopened up new wounds that we
need to work on.

(03:01):
So next we're going to take adeep dive what self-love really
looks like.
We often think that self-loveis about spa days or
affirmations or bubble baths and, trust me, all those things are
good.
Right, we're not going to knockany of those things and you
know those things are great.

(03:23):
But let's talk about the realwork of self-love the messy, raw
, powerful transformation thathappens when you commit to
choosing yourself even when itfeels uncomfortable.
Stopping self-sabotage in itstracks and that is difficult to

(03:45):
do.
But if you, one of the thingsI've done is I write things down
, so if I'm saying something badto myself, I just have a thing
where I just write andself-sabotage does literally
stop you in your tracks.
Next, it would be breaking thecycles of guilt, shame and
unworthiness.
It would be breaking the cyclesof guilt, shame and

(04:07):
unworthiness.
I have been working on that allmy life.
All my life.
The last one forgiving yourselfand others, not for them, but
for yourself.
It's very important to forgivethose who have done wrong,

(04:31):
because all you're doing, byhanging on to that guilt and
that anger and that resentment,is hurting yourself.
You're not hurting them at allat all.
Do this for you.
So next I'm going to share atruth bomb that you need to hear
.
You are not too much, you arenot not enough.

(04:53):
You do not have to earn yourworthiness.
You are already whole.
The only thing standing betweenyou and fully embodying the
truth, that is, is the beliefthat you are anything less so if

(05:18):
you are stuck in feeling youare unworthy, feeling you are
not enough or anything, that iswhat's holding you back.
So love yourself February, right, the course that changes
everything.

(06:49):

Look yourself in the eye andhold that eye contact with
yourself for at least 60 seconds.
No distractions, no lookingaway, just you and your
reflection.

(07:10):
And I want you to say I amworthy of love, I am worthy of
kindness, I am enough.
And then I want you to watchwhat comes up.
Does it feel awkward?
Because it does.
Is it hard?

(07:30):
Was it emotional?
Was it emotional?
Did it make you cry?
That's the work.
Let yourself feel it and thenkeep showing up for yourself

(07:53):
every single day.
So that challenge.
I want you guys to do it andthen I want you guys to come
back and tell me how it made youfeel and what changes you
experienced.
So radiant souls.
This, literally, is just thebeginning.
Self-love is a long, lifelong,long process, not a one-time

(08:18):
achievement.
But I promise you, when youcommit to this, when you choose
yourself over and over again, life changes in the most
incredible ways, changes in themost incredible ways.
So keep doing the work, keepshowing up and, as always, keep

(08:50):
unleashing your inner radiance.
