What are you doing with your one precious life? It's not a rough draft—this is the real thing, being written with every decision you make.

Today we're diving deep into the seven dimensions of true fitness that create a radiant life. Beyond the typical conversations about physical appearance and productivity, we explore what it means to be truly fit in every area that matters.

Emotional fitness is your resilience on demand—the ability to pause and choose growth over reactivity when life gets stormy. It's about getting radically honest with yourself, identifying what you're tolerating, and recognizing the dreams you've buried under excuses. Faith fitness anchors you in something greater, whether that's God, the universe, or your inner wisdom. It gives you the courage to step into uncertainty without needing to see the entire path, trusting that something better awaits.

Your relationships profoundly impact your wellbeing, which is why friend fitness and family fitness deserve attention. Are your friends adding fuel to your fire or water to your flame? Quality connections matter far more than quantity.

Physical fitness shouldn't feel like punishment. Movement should bring joy, not dread, whether that's dancing in your kitchen, walking in nature, or stretching mindfully. Your body is your constant companion—not your enemy.

Perhaps most transformative is mindset fitness—mental strength training that builds resilience and perspective.  Gratitude is the soul's multivitamin, shifting your energy even on the messiest days.

Remember, your next chapter doesn't write itself. You are the author, your habits are the pen, and your courage is the ink.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome back to Mindset Monday here on Unleash
your Inner Radiance.
I'm Lisa, your Catalyst, life, wellness and Transformation
Coach, and today we are divinginto something real, raw and
something sacred.
You only get one light, so whatare you doing with it?
This isn't about hustle orpressure or performance.

(00:22):
It's about alignment, purposefitness not the kind that most
people talk about, but the kindthat most people never talk
about.
You know, I was listening toBrendan Burchard on Girl of the
Day this week and what he saidhit me right in the soul your
actions create your destination.

(00:42):
What kind of actions are youtaking towards your destination?
So today we're going to talkabout fitness, but not just
physical fitness.
We are going to go all in onemotional fitness, faith fitness
, friends and family fitness, internal fitness yes, what you

(01:03):
are feeding your body and mindand, of course, mindset fitness,
all rooted in the most magneticenergy of all gratitude.
So grab your cup of coffee, puta hand over your heart and
let's go all in on your nextchapter.
Let's talk about emotionalfitness, or resilience on demand

(01:25):
.
This is about emotionalregulation, not denying emotions
, but training how we respond Ifthat makes sense.
It's talking about and learninghow to not spiral when things
get hard, how to not spiral whenthings get hard and say

(01:47):
something like this you can'tcontrol every storm, but you can
learn to breathe through thewind.
That is a quote.
You can't control every storm, but you can learn to breathe
through the wind.
You know, talking aboutlearning how to be resilient and

(02:07):
think about how we respond Ifsomeone says something to you.
That is a trigger.
Figure out what your trigger isand figure out how to work
through it before you saysomething.
Something Because emotionalfitness is being able to pause,

(02:30):
reflect and to choose growthover reactivity, because
sometimes we react and then wethink, oh, why did we react like
that?
I want you guys to understandthat this is this life, that
your one life, it's not a roughdraft life, your one life.
It's not a rough draft.
There is no someday versionwaiting in the wings.

(02:56):
The next chapter is beingwritten right now, with every
decision you make, every thoughtyou have, every habit you
choose and you know what.
You don't need permission toflip the page, what you don't
need permission to flip the page.
You just need to decide, decidethat you're no longer available
for playing small or stayingstuck or living in stories that

(03:18):
no longer serve you.
The first step is to getradically honest with yourself.
Ask what am I tolerating?
What dream have I buried underexcuses?
What kind of woman or man do Iwant to become, and what does

(03:49):
she believe, say and do daily?
Then start with small shifts, brave boundaries, morning
rituals, healthier choices, surrounding yourself with people
who reflect the version of youyou're stepping into.
One of the funnest things to dois to write a letter to your

(04:10):
future self, and in that letter, you write about what you're
doing, how successful you are, what your day looks like right.
Do you get up?
Do you do three miles on thetreadmill?
Do you go for a three mile walkwith your dog?
Do you have coffee?
Do you visit with neighbors?
What do you do?
Three miles on the treadmill?
Do you go for a three mile walkwith your dog?
Do you have coffee?
Do you visit with neighbors?
What do you do?
Do you coach?
Do you write letters?

(04:32):
Do you?
Are you a nutritionist?
I mean, what do you do?
What is your dream?
What does your future self looklike?
I want you to surround yourselfwith people who reflect that
future version that you want tostep into, because it's not

(04:54):
about overhauling your wholelife overnight.
It's about reclaiming yourpower, one aligned decision at a
time.
Your power, one aligneddecision at a time.
This next chapter.
It doesn't have to look likeanyone else's and it doesn't
need to look like your currentchapter or your past chapters,

(05:16):
because you get to flip the pageand you get to write it.
So make it bold, make it messy, make it yours, make it messy,
make it yours, because the penhas always been in your hand.
Now it's time to writesomething that you are proud of,
to do something that you areproud of.

(05:37):
Number two is faith fitness, because we all need to anchor
ourselves in something that isgreater than us.
Faith isn't faith.
Fitness isn't about spiritualalignment.
No, faith is about spiritualalignment.
I don't know where the not camefrom.

(05:58):
It's trust, it's surrender,it's divine connection, right,
whether it's God, the universeor your inner wisdom.
Talk about how this fitnessgives you the courage to step
into your future.
Let's talk about that, becausehere's a quote for you Faith is

(06:21):
walking into your next chapterwithout needing to know the
ending, just trusting it'sbetter than the last.
I'll put that quote in the shownotes.
Faith fitness isn't about havingall the answers.
It's truly about stepping backand trusting the one who does

(06:49):
truly, about stepping back andtrusting the one who does.
It's about a daily practice ofsurrendering what you can't
control and choosing to believethat God is still working in the
unseen, even when life feels soincredibly messy, slow or
uncertain.
It's praying when you tried.

(07:10):
It's praying when it hurts.
It's praising when it hurts.
It's standing firm when thestorms come, because your roots
are deep, are deep.

(07:31):
They should be deep.
Faith fitness means let's seeshowing up for your spiritual
life like it really matters, because it does.
It's opening your Bible or adevotional before your inbox.
It's talking to God like he'syour best friend.
It's remembering that you arenot walking alone ever, even

(07:55):
though sometimes it feels likeit, because when your spiritual
muscles are strong, you stopstriving and start trusting.
You walk with more peace, morejoy, more clarity, even when the
path isn't clear.
So ask yourself am I nourishingmy soul, am I stretching my

(08:23):
faith?
Because, just like your bodyneeds movement, your spirit
needs intentional connection.
So this is your reminder to putGod back into the center, not
just on Sunday, but every singleday.
Faith fitness is fun, freeingand fierce, and it just might be

(08:52):
the foundation that you've beenmissing.
Now let's talk about friendsfitness, because some of us need
to work on our friends fitness.
This one is about connection,or the energy Of those that
surround you, the energy thatyou put out.
When you walk into a room.
I want you to ask yourself Areyour friends adding fuel To your

(09:17):
fire or water to your flame?
Because we want them to addfuel To your fire.
I want you guys To have thatare loving and caring and
supporting, because fitnessisn't just abs and greens.
It's healthy boundaries too.
So I just want you tounderstand that if you start

(09:45):
setting boundaries and yourfriends get mad, maybe they're
not your friends, Because theyshould be able to respect your
boundaries and because who yousurround yourself really matters
like really really matters.
The people in your life areeither draining your energy or

(10:06):
fueling your fire.
Brands fitness means checkingyour inner circle and asking are
these the kind of women whoclap when I rise, pray when I
struggle and remind me who I amwhen I forget, or are they

(10:30):
keeping me small, stuck orsecond guessing?
Because you don't need amillion friends.
You need a few ride-or-die soulsisters who see your light and
reflect it back to you.
Friend fitness isn't aboutquality.
It's more about quality notquantity.

(10:50):
It's about laughter that heals, conversations that go deep and
being around people who feellike sunshine and divine
connections.
And the truth is, sometimes itmeans letting go of expired
friendships and making room forbetter connections.

(11:13):
So go ahead, initiate thecoffee date, send that random
encouragement text or start abook club club or just join a
mastermind.
Create connection withintention, because iron sharpens
iron, and the right friendsthey help you become the

(11:41):
strongest, most radiant versionof you.
Now we're going to nurture theroots a little bit when we talk
about family fitness, becauseyour family is the family you're
stuck with, right.
So I want you to tend to yourfamily with intention, with no,
there's no obligation or guilt, but come to everybody in your

(12:03):
family with love from the heart.
Fitness and family is showing up, not perfectly, but presently,
and I think that's where a lotof parents are going wrong right
now because they're not presentfor their kids.
You see, family fitness isn'tabout being perfect, it's about

(12:29):
being present.
It's about checking in, notjust checking the boxes.
It's about pausing the scrolland making eye contact at the
dinner table, laughing at insidejokes and choosing connection
over chaos.
We have enough chaos going onin this world because, let's be
real, life gets busy, life getscrazy, schedules fill up,

(12:54):
emotions run high, but familyfitness means choosing to show
up with love anyway.
It's asking the hard questions, offering the apology, giving
the hug or setting theboundaries where needed.
It's about pouring intorelationships that are
foundational to your story, thepeople who you've seen make a

(13:25):
mess, the people who have seenyour mess and your magic.
And guess what you get?
To create your own definitionof family.
Whether it's blood chosen orblended, family fitness is about
building a safe place and asafe space where everyone can go
and grow and heal and dreamtogether.

(13:45):
So pick up the phone, writethat note, plan that game night,
dance in the kitchen.
There are so many more momentsthat matter, and these are the
roots that keep you grounded.
Family fitness is legacy workand you, my friend, are the

(14:08):
architect.
Now let's talk about yourfavorite and mine physical
fitness, because your energy ispower.
Your physical body is thevehicle for your purpose.
Take care of it like yourmission depends on it, because

(14:29):
it actually does.
I want to invite you guys tomove this week, even if it's
just a walk, a dance break orstretching with gratitude.
That would be fun, right, look,I get it.
Some days, the squats we'redoing are when we drop the
remote under the couch, right.

(14:49):
And if walking to the fridgecounts as cardio, girl, we'd all
be Olympians, trust me.
But let's have some real talk.
Physical fitness doesn't haveto be this intense.
This scary 90-minute boot campled by somebody named Chad,
yelling no pain, no gain.

(15:11):
Right, it can be dancing inyour kitchen to 90s throwbacks
or oh, and doing it in fuzzysocks.
I mean, come on, let's justhave fun with it.
Right, it can be parking alittle farther from Target just
to get in those few extra stepsthat you need.
And yes, we do count targetlaps as cardio, right,

(15:34):
especially if you're pushing afull cart.
Uphill Movement should besomething you enjoy, not
something that you dread.
So go ahead, find your groove, shake your booty like nobody is
watching, stretch like a sleepycat, or take your dog for a walk

(15:55):
and just let them set the pace.
Just move your body in a waythat makes you feel alive, not
punished, because your body, ohshe's.
She's not your enemy, she'syour ride or die.
It's the only body you get.
So you get to fuel her the wayyou want, you get to move her,

(16:18):
you get to love her, you get tolove her right and you get bonus
points if you make yourselflaugh while you're doing it,
because laughing is really goodfor your abs.
That is the best ab workoutever, right?

(16:40):
So as long as we're talkingabout physical fitness and
taking care of our body, let'stalk about internal fitness,
because that is really importanttoo, because what are you
feeding your mind and your body?
I know we just talked about howto move your body and what to
do and I actually need to domore yoga.

(17:00):
I think I need to do some morestretching but internal fitness
is what you're feeding your bodyand what you're feeding your
mind.
What you are putting into yourbody and consuming affects you
mentally and physically.
So what are you feeding yourbody?

(17:23):
What are you feeding yourthoughts?
Internal fitness is asking willthis nourish me or numb me?
Hmm.
So let's do some real talk here.
Your body is not a trash can,and yet why are we tossing in

(17:48):
whatever's closest when we arestressed, bored or pretending
five espresso shots count as ameal?
Anybody done that?
Internal fitness is aboutfueling your body like the
radiant powerhouse goddess thatyou are the radiant powerhouse,

(18:15):
goddess, that you are Not like araccoon loose in your pantry.
Yes, it means leafy greens, water and maybe saying goodbye
to the fourth bag of hot Cheetoswe had a good run, babe, but
you're out.
But it also means awareness.
It means choosing foods thatgive you energy, they help you

(18:37):
focus and they also give youthat glowing from the inside out
kind of vibe.
And hey, this isn't aboutperfection.
It's about asking will thisfood love me back?
And making choices that supportyour mood, your hormones and

(19:03):
your gut, because that's allreally important.
You don't have to go fullcelery juice cult.
Trust me, that is justdisgusting, right, I like celery
and all, but no, let's not dothat.
I just want you guys to startpaying attention, because when
you treat your insides likeroyalty, your outsides they

(19:29):
start shining like a dang queen.
So, hydrate I'm on 36 ounces ofwater so far.
Bless your greens, haven't hadany of those yet.
And maybe swap one snack thisweek for something that loves
you back.
And yes, coffee can stay.
We're not monsters, but wewould be monsters some of us if

(19:52):
we didn't get our coffee.
So coffee can stay.
So we need to talk about mindsetfitness, and I've done several
episodes on mindset and what youcan do.
But you do understand thatthoughts become things right.

(20:15):
Because mindset isn't justthinking positive, it's mental
strength training, strengthtraining.
Every single day you're eitherbuilding beliefs that empower

(20:39):
you or ones that cage you.
We want you to always thinkabout the ones that empower you.
So in the past I've said youknow, do this a little journal
that you can keep in your car.
When you have a thought that yousay something bad to yourself,
write it down.
You're going to see a patternand then reframe those and say
those nice things to yourself.

(21:00):
It's easy, it's easy to do.
It's also easy to get back intothe saying bad things to you.
Right, saying things toyourself that will cage you.
So do some daily rituals, likeyour mental reps, like
journaling.
That's mental prayer,affirmations, intentional

(21:21):
silence, just meditating, because you don't really truly
need a complete overhaul.
You need one strong thought, repeated with action let's be
real.
Let's be real.
If most of us talk to ourfriends the way we talk to

(21:41):
ourselves, we would have zerofriends.
Zero friends.
Mindset fitness is about gettingthat inner dialogue out of the
dark alley and into the light.
It's mental reps, it's trading.
I can't do this with let'sfreaking go and swapping.

(22:02):
I'm a mess with.
I am a masterpiece in progress.
This isn't toxic positivity.
This is like mental resiliencewith glitter on top.
Think of your mindset like amuscle.
If you keep lifting doubt andfear, you'll bulk up on

(22:27):
insecurity, but if you startlifting gratitude, focus and
compassion, your brain becomescertified confidence machine.
And don't forget, your brainloves patterns.
So if you start feeding andempowering thoughts daily like

(22:48):
vitamins for your soul andempowering thoughts daily like
vitamins for your soul it startsexpecting good things.
It stops looking for the worstand starts preparing for the
absolute best.
Mental fitness isn't just cutesticky notes on your mirror and
pep talk Although those twothings do help.

(23:09):
And pep talk Although those twothings do help it's consistency
, it's intention and, yes,sometimes it's blasting Beyonce
while doing mere affirmations inyour fuzzy robe, like the

(23:33):
radiant queen that you are.
Okay, now we're going to talkabout the secret sauce of a
radiant life gratitude.
So here is something that Iwant you guys to hear gratitude
is the soul's multivitamin.
It is the soul's multivitamin.
It real realigns your nervoussystem, your mindset and your
energy.
So I want you guys to findthree things every day this week

(23:57):
that you are wildly gratefulfor, even on your messy days.
Even on your messy days, because gratitude, my darling,
is basically magic.
It's magical.
It's like a free upgrade tofirst class in the airline of

(24:19):
your life.
It's a vibe shifter, it's amood fixer, it's the holy grail
of mindset tools and it takesliterally five seconds a day.
But let's be honest, some daysit's really truly hard and I

(24:40):
mean hard to feel grateful whenyour coffee's cold, your
leggings are see-through orsomeone ate the last slice of
avocado toast that you weresaving.
I mean how rude.
But that's when the realgratitude muscles really kick in

(25:00):
.
It's being thankful that theWi-Fi let you watch Netflix
right During your mental healthday, because everybody needs a
mental health day and everybodyneeds a day of just binging
Netflix.
It's about shouting out yourbody just for carrying you

(25:25):
through the day, even if she's alittle bloated and craving
carbs.
It's noticing that the sun ispeeking through the clouds and
whispering okay, universe, I seeyou.
The truth.
Gratitude less about bigmoments and more about little

(25:50):
micro wins.
So stack those up like pancakesand if you do, suddenly you're
full of joy, perspective andinner peace.
Zero calories, infinitebenefits.
You're welcome.
That's what it is.

(26:15):
So what are you doing with thisone precious life that you have?
Not someday, not when you feelready?
No Emotional fitness, faith, fitness, friends, family and
physical and eternal mindsetthat moves mountains, gratitude

(26:40):
that grounds your soul.
This is the way forward.
And remember your next chapterdoesn't write itself.
You are the author, your habitsare the pen and your courage is
the ink.
If this episode crackedsomething open for you, I want

(27:05):
to hear about it.
Please screenshot this and tagme at Change your Life with Lisa
Coaching and share one fitnessyou are going to do to
strengthen you this week.
Until next time, keep showingup, keep glowing up and never

(27:26):
forget.
You are a radiant revolution.
You don't just change your life.
You change the world by beingyou.
