Unleash Your True Value™
A Breaking Money Silence® Podcast
In this special episode, I announce the ending of my podcast journey and replay the original episode originally published in January 2016. My first guest was Lauran Star, a friend and colleague that helped me launch the program. The original format centered around a money myth provided by the guest and the conversation was about how to bust that myth wide open. The myth Lauran and I explore is “Men should be primary breadwinners.”
It’s fun to look back and see how far the show has come. My hosting and the sound quality improved, and my first guest went on to get her Ph.D. and publish several books, the newest one coming out early next year.
Today 45% of women earn as much or more than their male spouses and it truly is a myth that men are the primary breadwinners in most homes. Tune in to the original Breaking Money Silence® podcast and celebrate with me how far women have come in earning and controlling their wealth and destinies.

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
