In this second episode of Unshakable Promises, we continue our first series, God’s Promise to Strengthen the Weak. Last time, we looked at God’s promises from Genesis through Psalms, where He revealed Himself as a refuge, a rock, and a source of strength for His people. Today, we turn to the Wisdom books and the Prophets—writings filled with encouragement for weary hearts and guidance for God’s people in times of uncertainty.
In Proverbs, we hear the call to trust in the Lord with all our hearts, leaning not on our own understanding. Ecclesiastes reminds us that a cord of three strands is not easily broken, showing the strength that comes from unity with God and His people. Isaiah proclaims that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, while Jeremiah assures us that God’s plans are to give us a future and a hope. Even in Lamentations, in the midst of sorrow, we are reminded that God’s mercies are new every morning.
If you’ve ever faced seasons of waiting, trial, or discouragement, these promises speak directly to you. They remind us that God’s strength is not limited to a moment but is continually renewed. Join me as we discover how the wisdom of Scripture and the voices of the Prophets call us to courage, trust, and unshakable hope.
