Not one, not two, but THREE facts about ducks that will have you saying "this is quack!"

JUST THE FACTS:

It's important for survival for ducklings to stick together. So much so that the baby fowls coordinate their hatching by communicating with one another while they are still in their eggs! The range of subtle sounds the ducks make in their eggs is called pipping.

Female ducks choose their mate based on their dance moves and attractiveness of their feather

Ducks have regional accents that mimic the accents of people in their area. A study out of Middlesex University compared quacks of ducks in the heart of London and the countryside. The study found city ducks had a more aggressive, gruff sounding quack compared to the more relaxed sound of the country ducks.

so what do you think? What do you think the lil ducks are saying when they're pipping? What word do you think showcases your regional accent the most? What's more important to you in a wedding date: a nice suit or smooth dance moves?
