Daddy Issues
We have all heard the term, “Daddy Issues”, but how does the relationship with your father really affect you? Is it possible to not be affected by an unhealthy relationship with your father? How do you separate “daddy issues” from a problematic relationship? What should you do, if you find yourself repeating the same problems relationally? These are the type of questions explored on this podcast episode, and have plagued the lives of countless women. We don’t decide the family we are born into; however, as adults, we can choose how we deal with the challenges we experienced growing up.
Whether your father was absent, inconsistent, or physically present but emotionally disengaged, there is no escaping the influence of a father’s relationship. In this podcast episode, Dr. Nic Hardy is joined by Jonetta Rose Barras, pioneering author of What Happened to Daddy’s Little Girl and founder of Esther Production.
