Discrimination at work is stressful. It’s sometimes subtle, and the signs are not always obvious.  Even when discrimination is not the case, if you have experienced it in the past, it’s impossible to exclude that possibility. However, when dealing with problems at work, most of us don’t have someone that can coach us through the process. If we do, is this someone you can trust and be truly honest with? In these situations, it’s easy to feel isolated, alone, and question our own ability. Secondly, it’s easy to second guess your own beliefs and wonder if your experiences are in fact real, or worthy of addressing.  

• Am I being too sensitive?
• Is my boss discriminating against me or does he just not okay with my work performance ? 
• Did I miss out on the promotion because the other person was more qualified, or was I overlooked because of how I look?

The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways.
