Ever tried to keep two business's thriving while parenting three kids and staying grounded through the holidays?

I open the door to my intentional routine: how I grew a fractional CFO firm while building an intuitive healing practice that now accounts for a meaningful share of my income without burning my energy to the ground. You’ll hear the systems that actually hold, the rituals that keep me clear, and the choices that moved me from survival mode to steady growth.

I walk through the practical structure of my week—one full day devoted to client healings, mentorship, and content—balanced against CFO deliverables, investor requests, and reporting cycles.

Instead of chasing every ping, I use higher-self scheduling to sequence work by timing and impact, which solved my reflex to rush sessions and preserved the depth my clients rely on. I share how daily non-negotiables like facial massage, the gym, school runs, and tight time blocks create a spine for the day, while evenings are reserved for calm, family-first routines that make room for early dinner, play, and rest.

With the holidays looming, we get tactical about energy hygiene and boundaries. Pulling the aura close to the body reduces emotional contagion in charged rooms. Simple protections for thoughts and emotions help if you’re sensitive to others’ moods, while a clear plan around alcohol keeps your state intact.

When tense comments fly, I pause, breathe, and assess whether what’s rising is a mirror, a lesson, or simply static. That shift from reactivity to discernment changes the entire room. If you’ve been rebuilding a life or business after a hard chapter, consider this your field guide: design your days for sovereignty and presence, then let growth follow.

SPEAKER_00 (00:04):
Welcome to Unveil, the podcast.
I'm your host, Angela Christian, and I help you with unveiling
your true self by peeling awaythe layers that society placed
on you.
I do this with a combination ofneuroscience, energetics, and
ancient spiritual wisdom.
I went from underpaid andoverworked in corporate America
to launching a six-figurecompany that continues to grow.

(00:27):
I went from toxic relationshipsto being happy and single for
over a year as I worked andcontinue to work on becoming the
best version of myself and somuch more.
My greatest passion is to helpwomen and mothers heal,
transform, and become thehighest versions of themselves.
As I continue to grow and expandmy intuitive knowledge and
unique wisdom, I'll be includingyou on my journey to millions.

(00:50):
So let's get into it.
Hello and welcome back toUnveiled.
Today I have kind of a differentepisode for you guys.
I received two different peoplereached out asking me the same
thing, and I always payattention to patterns and

(01:12):
details like that because itmeans that there's something
someone needs.
So I got asked by two differentpeople, can you just share like
what it's like balancing twobusinesses, being a single mom,
like what do your, you know, your businesses are very
different.
You have a podcast.
What does all of that look like?

(01:33):
And I'm also going to share alittle bit about how I'm
preparing for the holidays, allthe different emotions, all of
that.
So that will be, you know, I'llgive some tips there as well.
So when it comes to like myday-to-day, one of the people
that reached out asked, like, what does your day look like?
I kind of gave an answer over aweek because it's a little bit

(01:55):
different depending on what'sgoing on, right?
So in case you don't know oryou're new here, welcome.
I own two companies.
I own a CFO, which stands forChief Financial Officer.
So I own a fractional CFO firmwhere I manage for startups,
accounting, finances,projections, helping them with

(02:21):
investor requests, all of thatkind of stuff, right?
So I have that company.
I've had that company for manyyears, but went full-time with
it in August of 2023.
So I've had it for a little overtwo years now.
I also have my healing, intuitive healing business,
right?
Which I would call my soul pull.

(02:42):
And that has been increasingeach month.
So it's been interesting towatch like the this the shift.
I used to 90% of my monthlyincome used to come from my CFO
business.
And then like maybe 10% wouldcome from my soul pull.
And as I look, I looked at likeso nerdy I am.

(03:04):
I looked at like some graphs andjust trying to see over the last
two years the shift.
And it's been pretty cool.
And this year in 2025, the shifthas gone to almost, I would say
it's 60% CFO work, 40% soulpull.
And I've maintained six figuresboth last year and this year.

(03:26):
So six figures both years, butthe percentage between CFO and
soul pull has shifted.
So it's been very cool to kindof watch that trajectory.
With that in mind, I also havethree children.
I have a daughter who is atshe's a junior in college, she's
in the sorority life, she has aboyfriend.
She's about an hour and a halfflight from me.

(03:48):
So I don't get to see her asmuch as I would like, but I do
get to go and visit her prettyoften.
And then I have a 10-year-olddaughter and a six-year-old son.
As many of my listeners know, Iwent through a divorce a few
years ago and pulled myself outof a really tough position where

(04:10):
I had to move from, you know, abeautiful four, four-bedroom,
four-bath house into a tinytwo-bedroom, two-bath apartment
with my three kids.
This was when my daughter was asenior in high school.
And I slept on a broken couch inthe living room, trying to pick
the pieces up.
And within six months, I wasable to move us out into

(04:34):
literally across the street fromour old million-dollar home into
a new million-dollar home.
But at the time I was alsoworking a corporate job, and it
was just like to live where Idid, all of my money was going
to, you know, the house andmaintaining the house.
And it was like, and at thetime, uh childcare.

(04:55):
And it was just like, for what?
You know, like all of my moneyis just literally, I'm earning
it and it's going out.
So I made the tough decision tomove in with my parents a couple
of years ago and go all in on myCFO business while I was also
building up my soul poll.
So I'm still living with myparents.
Probably, I would guess, youknow, for a little while longer.

(05:17):
And yes, my human doesn't lovethat, but it's all part of my
higher self's plan.
And I'm all about what my higherself wants.
So the way that I kind of managemy week is I usually assign like
Tuesdays today.
It's completely dedicated to mysoul pull.
So on Tuesdays, I do my healingsfor clients and my mentorship

(05:41):
program.
I do telegram check-ins withthem.
I record my podcast on Tuesdays.
I'll do audios for my membershipor my light it up program, my
dark force program.
I really devote all of Tuesdayto my soul poll.
And then the other days, becausemy soul poll is growing at a

(06:02):
steady rate, obviously I do workin my soul poll on the other
days.
And so I've been integratingkind of like what do I need to
get done in my CFO business, right?
Because there are deadlines, there are things I need to get
done in a timely manner.
So I balance that with alsoreads.
And so I have had an issue, which I am working on, where

(06:27):
I've noticed if someone bookswith me, I tend to want to get
them in as soon as possible, youknow, and help them as soon as
possible.
That's all well and good, butwhat I've decided to do is
actually ask my higher self, okay, when would be the best
time to do their healingsession?
Right.
And then I go with my higherself's choice versus my human

(06:51):
tendency to want to rush, whichI'm dealing with a whole time
reflection right now.
My human self wants to rush andlike get them in as soon as
possible, but my higher selfknows which day will be the
best, right?
Like someone could book with me,and it might be that like two
weeks from that day is actuallythe best.

(07:11):
So I go with my higher self.
So my son is in school.
So then it's school pickup at3:15.
I always start my day withputting myself first.
I do a facial massage byAnastasia, for those of you who
don't know.
She does these amazing, it'scalled glow or consistency.

(07:33):
I can't remember the there's acouple different names for it,
but she does beauty fascia, which I hope I'm saying that
correctly.
Anyway, I do my facial massageevery day.
Then I go to the gym.
And I do not do anything elseuntil I put myself first, right?
Well, obviously, I do schooldrop off, but then I go to the
gym.
My sister and I have beenworking out together, and then I

(07:55):
come home and I time block.
I do ask my higher self, I'llmake a list and I'll say, here
are the, you know, five thingsor whatever I need to get done.
Higher self, which one should Ifocus on first?
And for how long?
So I kind of do it that way.
Unless there's something thathas a hard deadline, then I will

(08:18):
do that.
You know, obviously I'llprioritize that.
Then I pick my son up.
Usually we'll play for a littlebit, and then he wants to like
kind of unwind with a one of hisfavorite shows or something.
And so he'll do that.
I'll do a little bit of wrappingup my work, and then I spend the
rest of the time with my kids, and we eat an early dinner at

(08:43):
5:30, bathtime, bedtime at 7:30.
And then I, after I put my sonto bed, I will spend time
studying, integrating.
I always have things to do,reading.
Sometimes I'll just like want towatch a show and just kind of
unwind.
So that is really how I handlethings.

(09:07):
Like honestly, I don't even knowwhat it feels like to not have a
really busy schedule, to behonest.
So definitely probably due for avacation soon, which I am going
on a vacation next month.
So that will be fun.
Anyway, that is it.
I mean, I don't have a partnerat the time at this time.
I do hope eventually to have apartner.

(09:30):
But honestly, I don't even knowwhere they would fit into my
life at this point because it'sjust go, go, go.
Yeah, it would have to besomeone who's just as busy where
it would be, you know, qualitytime, not quantity.
So that's kind of where I'm at.

(09:51):
And then like days like today, Ihad an hour and a half call with
my mentor, Alessandro, as manyof you know him.
And that was just so mindexpanding.
And that kind of sometimesconversations with him,
everything just kind of shifts.
And I feel like I've gone into adifferent dimension in a good

(10:12):
way.
And then I have just this periodof time where I'm expanding.
So it's there's nothing superregular about my schedule other
than like putting myself forschool drop-off, looking at my
day, school pickup, and then allthe mother stuff, you know?

(10:33):
So happy to expand on that ifanyone wishes, but I try to be
very intentional with my when Ischedule healings because I
never want to rush throughthose, right?
So it is the end of the year.
Some of my CFO stuff kind ofpicks up, and I need to be aware

(10:54):
of that as well.
So that's kind of that.
Now I will switch gears topreparing for the holidays.
If you're in the US and you'regoing to be celebrating
Thanksgiving, I know for me,even when it's just me and my
three kids, they are all verydifferent.
They have very differentpersonalities.

(11:14):
And my oldest daughter, youknow, I think this is just an
older child thing sometimes, butshe was so used to it being me
and her for like the first nineyears of her life.
She gets a little not jealous, but she really wants time with
me, right?
So everybody kind of walks oneggshells when she's around

(11:35):
because she can also be a littlequick-tempered.
She's very sensitive, though.
She comes off as tough, butshe's very sensitive.
And all my kids are verysensitive.
So it's a lot of differentpersonalities.
And then you add in all theother family members.
So the key things that I wouldrecommend in those situations is
making sure you pull your aurain because when it's out and

(11:59):
large, which some of my clientswill look in and their aura is
like 30 feet out, it is gettingcontaminated by other people's
thoughts, emotions, contagions, all of that kind of stuff,
right?
So it's just like a glass ofwater.
If it had a bunch of dirt in it,you wouldn't want to drink it.
You want to keep your waterclean.
You want to keep your aura cleanand close.
The other thing I would do, someof this is more like technical.

(12:22):
You would have to know how to dothis, but the emotion
protection, the thoughtprotection, which I have in my
light it up program, thecontagion clearing, which I do
have a free one on my podcast.
I have a more in-depth one in mymembership and in Light It Up.
But the one on my podcast wouldbe a great one to listen to
before you go meet with familymembers.

(12:43):
There's something called asource stiff arm that I do if
I'm going to be around a familymember who has dark energy,
little dark friends around them.
There's a technique where youcan push them out.
You're not clearing them becausewe don't always have permission
to clear people, but we can pushthem out so that they're a

(13:04):
little less affected by it andit won't, they won't jump onto
you, right?
So there's very specific thingsthat we can do.
But if you don't have that kindof training, at least, at the
very least, pull in your aura.
Just set the intent.
I pull in my aura close to mybody, ideally like two and a
half feet from your skin.

(13:27):
That is something I've beenseeing a lot in clients with
anxiety, is because their aurais so big, and then they're
like, you can almost think oflike an energy around you with
fingers and it's reaching intoother people's energy.
And of course, you're going tofeel anxious when you are mixing
your energy with other people's,right?
You're picking up on their fear, their anger, all of these

(13:48):
different overwhelming emotions.
So that would be the energeticpiece.
The other piece is to just tryto not react to people when they
say certain things.
I used to be someone who wouldreact immediately and not in a
nice way.
Now I really am consciouslyaware and I will take a breath,

(14:13):
I will take a drink of water, coffee, and just kind of look at
the whole situation.
And if you have your intuitiondialed in, you can actually,
like, let's say a family membersays something that's rude, you
can actually look in and see howrooted they are to that.
If it's a reflection, if theyare your inside out voice.

(14:35):
Like there's so many thingsgoing on when that, and I wrote
about this in my Substackarticle.
Was that this week or last week?
Oh, it was my Sunday source.
I wrote about this.
The there's so much going onaround us that we don't see,
right?

(14:56):
And once you kind of understandthe energetics of what's
happening, that you the thingsthat you can't see that are
happening, right?
It really puts things more intoperspective.
So if someone says somethingrude to me or I get offended by
something, I will then dial itdown and I'll look at, okay,

(15:18):
what's actually going on?
Is this a reflection?
Is this part of my soul lessontrying to resolve what is
actually going on?
So that's how I deal with a lotof that.
And I would say finally, alsojust be careful with alcohol

(15:38):
consumption because certainentities absolutely love when
people are drinking, gettingdrunk, they will jump in and
amplify and just make things alot worse.
So that's something to also beaware of.
So with that being said, just ashort, little, short and sweet
episode for you today.
And I will be finishing up somework today and then picking up

(16:03):
my daughter tomorrow from theairport and just going to plan
on being with my family for therest of the week.
So sending you all love.
And if you celebrateThanksgiving, happy Thanksgiving
to you.
And I will talk to you nextweek.
Bye.
