Ever wonder why some people seem to attract money effortlessly while others struggle despite working twice as hard? The answer might surprise you.

Wealth blocks often hide in plain sight as innocent-seeming thoughts like "I owe them so much" or "They never paid me back." These aren't just passing notions—they're energetic broadcasts that literally repel money from entering your life. As someone who transformed from corporate burnout to six-figure business owner, I've discovered that resolving these hidden "debts" creates immediate shifts in your financial reality.

In this deeply personal episode, I share how my childhood experiences with guilt-driven relationships shaped my understanding of fair exchange. You'll hear the recent process I played around with to transmute old dating "debt" into an unexpected $4,500 deposit overnight—yes, really! This isn't manifestation mumbo-jumbo; it's about recognizing that on a soul level, we're always in perfect balance, even when our human perception can't see it.

The wealth you desire is already around you, just not always in the form you expect. By identifying where you feel owed or indebted—whether with family, exes, friends, or even credit cards—you can consciously balance these energies and stop broadcasting "debt" to the universe. When you shift from obligation to fair exchange, your entire energetic field transforms from scarcity to abundance.

Ready to release the guilt, obligation, and shame that's keeping wealth at bay?

Join my membership where we're diving deeper into wealth ingredients and fair exchange this month. The world needs next-level role models with the resources to make a difference—and that includes you.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Welcome to Unveiled, the podcast.
I'm your host, angela Christian, and I help you with unveiling
your true self by peeling awaythe layers that society placed
on you.
I do this with a combination ofneuroscience, energetics and
ancient spiritual wisdom.
I went from underpaid andoverworked in corporate America
to launching a six-figurecompany that continues to grow.

(00:26):
I went from toxic relationshipsto being happy and single for
over a year as I worked andcontinue to work on becoming the
best version of myself, and somuch more.
My greatest passion is to helpwomen and mothers heal,
transform and become the highestversions of themselves.
As I continue to grow andexpand my intuitive knowledge

(00:46):
and unique wisdom, I'll beincluding you on my journey to
millions, so let's get into it.
Hello, welcome back to Unveiled.
So today we're going to continueour conversation around money,
wealth, all my favorite topics.

(01:08):
In case you are new here, Itend to have a theme and then
kind of stick with it, or that'swhat I've been trying to do,
just so that it also aligns with, like, whatever I'm diving into
in my membership, so that ifyou like what you hear, then
you'll know how to go deeper onthe topic, right?

(01:29):
So today we're going to talkabout the science of fair
exchange and, honestly, this wasone of the biggest releases for
me because I grew up in ahousehold where guilt was like
used on the daily.
It's still used by one of myfamily members who I can

(01:52):
understand now, like just withthe way that I know she grew up.
All of that it's her way ofhaving control.
So she's very much like I willgive you this, but then she very
much expects something back, right, it's not unconditional,
which I used to get really angryabout.

(02:13):
But now, knowing about fairexchange and this was something
that was just so impactful forme when I worked through it was
seeing that the value I got fromthat is.
That's not how I want to be forothers, right, because you know
a friend will reach out andwant help with something.
I will help them and I don'texpect anything back.

(02:35):
A lot of times it's anintuitive friend and they want
me to look in at somethingquickly.
And for me, I'm just like, oh,I'm increasing my skills, right,
always increasing my skills.
Or for my children, like mydaughter, I support my oldest
daughter.
She's in her third year ofcollege and she hasn't had to
have a job.

(02:56):
I've paid for her rent food, with the help of my parents too.
So my parents and I have beenable to support her fully, which
isn't something I got, and I donot expect anything from her in
return.
If she doesn't want to call meevery day, that's okay.
I'm not going to put demands onher based on what I'm giving to

(03:19):
her, because what I'm giving toher, I see the value in it,
because she's not going to comeout of school in major debt,
right, because I put myselfthrough undergrad school and
business school and came outwith $200,000 in student loans.
So by doing this for her, Iknow she's having such a big.

(03:43):
She's starting off on a muchbetter foot than I did.
So, if you think about it fromthis point, what often holds
people back from pursuing, like, their biggest dreams and goals?
It's usually some type ofobligation, right, like I'm a
mother, however, that doesn'thold me back, but I do know

(04:05):
people who are mothers and feellike they can't put themselves
first, even though by puttingthemselves first and taking that
step towards what they'resupposed to do will help their
children.
Right, but that's their lessonto learn.
So do obligations.
When I say the word obligation, does that sound good?
Does that make your body feelgood.

(04:26):
No, usually it's like one partyis satisfied and one's not
right.
And so if you're sacrificingyour purpose for your children,
like they're not even asking youto do that right, but like it
doesn't feel good in your body, and that's because you're not
following the path that yourhigher self decided to have in

(04:49):
this life.
So, taking it a step back foryears I carried this idea in my
body and my energy that I owedmy parents because they have
helped me so much financiallyand like with emotional support,
all of that, and I was beingreminded often about how much

(05:11):
they did for me, how much I owedall of that, because I was
always thinking about it eitherconsciously or subconsciously,
right.
So if that's in our thoughtfield, our creator field, they
pick up on it.
Then it's just going to keepcreating more and more debt in
your field.
So what does true fair exchangelook like and again, I'm going

(05:33):
to go a lot deeper into all ofthis and the membership this
week but true fair exchangewould look like both parties
contributing something that isconsidered equal right.
It doesn't have to be financialto financial and a lot of times
it's not Like.

(05:53):
The biggest shifts for me werepeople who I thought, you know,
like I had an ex who had stolenmoney from me, who had done all
of these things, and for a longtime I thought, oh, he owes me
that money, he owes me thatmoney, he owes me that money
that does nothing positive formy creator field, for my
financial wealth, right?

(06:13):
All it does is it creates, inmy field, debt, debt, debt, oh,
oh, oh, oh.
And because we live in aninside out world I've shared
that before, especially aroundfinances and if, for example, if
we don't embody the ingredientsinternally, they're not going

(06:35):
to happen externally, right, andwhat you might not know, you
might know from previousepisodes, but we actually all,
on a high level, share a lot ofthe same thoughts, and around
96% of people's thoughts aren'teven their own.
But then there's these massiveegos inside most people, right,

(06:57):
that want to claim thosethoughts as their own.
So we are constantly, alwaysbroadcasting information out and
receiving information, right,our thoughts, right.
So it's not a coincidence whenyou have a thought about
something and then someone says,oh, I had the same thought,
it's because we're basicallyjust receiving and broadcasting,

(07:19):
right.
So in my earlier days, if I waswalking around thinking which I
was God.
I owe my parents so much moneyright now.
I owe my parents so much moneyI am in so much debt.
The people around me aredefinitely going to pick up on
the subject of my thoughts, which is debt.

(07:40):
They might even pick up on I amin debt, but their actions will
actually enhance the debt forme.
Because if I was going in for ajob interview and I was just
radiating debt, do you thinksomeone's going to want to hire
me?
Are they going to feel like Iwould enhance their company,

(08:01):
like they might not be able toput it into words but they're
going to have like I don't knowsomething, just felt a little
off, right?
And same thing if you're goingon a date, if you're having all
of these debt thoughts in yourfield, you're not going to feel
exactly like you're not going tobe radiating your true
magnificence, right.

(08:22):
You're going to be radiatinglike debt.
So when we're out of balancewith fair exchange, it causes
debt in our field.
That triggers debt thoughts andthose thoughts create debt
actions from other people.
Sometimes they'll own them astheir own, but most of the time

(08:45):
they feed into the debt feelingsand thoughts that we're already
having.
But on a soul level, we'realways in balance.
There's actually no such thingas being out of fair exchange,
and we are in fair exchangeimmediately.
But on a human level, we oftencan't see that balance and so we
carry the guilt, obligation, shame, all of that, and so this

(09:09):
ends up poisoning our peace, poisoning our potential and
continuing to keep peopleplaying small right.
So what I'm doing inside of mymembership this month is
teaching more about the wealthingredients, all of this fair
exchange.
I actually teach this in myClean BDE program as well.

(09:31):
It's already in there, becausewhen you're going through a
breakup or something and you'refeeling like they owe you, that
is not going to help your life, right.
So I literally have gonethrough all the people in my
life that I can feel like I oweor that they owe me, and I have

(09:54):
balanced it out, and my higherself does a great job of showing
me where I might have missedsomething.
So I have a funny story toshare about this and how I
actually turned it into wealthovernight.
There might be a little bitmore to it there is, but still a
fun story.
So I was driving and the songcame on.

(10:17):
I don't know why it's alwayssongs for me that like trigger
memories.
But the song came on and I hadthis thought about someone who I
used to we'll just say date, but that's a pretty loose term
for the reality of the situationand it was like, okay, I'm just

(10:39):
going to be real with you guyshere.
So I was a single mom of myoldest daughter and we moved to
Marin County, which is a veryaffluent area right outside of
San Francisco, and I moved thereto work at a startup company
with people I had went tobusiness school with.
I thought, okay, this is goingto be a great start for me and

(11:00):
my daughter.
I had just ended an engagementto someone, was very sad about
all of that and for many, manyyears I was so out of control
boy crazy.
I just thought and this wasprogramming.
I thought, if I find the rightman, I will be able to make a

(11:22):
really good life for me and mydaughter.
Right, it came from a goodplace, but that is not the way
that my soul wanted it to happen.
Right?
But I had to go through all ofthat to get to that point of
realization like, oh, thisactually isn't the way.

(11:42):
Yes, it was the way I was shown, but it's not the way that my
soul wants me to go right.
So I started meeting people andstarted going on dates and fell
into this group where there werea lot of impressive guys and

(12:03):
they had all went to Ivy Leagueschools and were really good
looking, came from good families, and several of them were
asking me out around the sametime, and so me.
Back then I did not know myvalue at all and I felt like,
well, if I say no to one, thenI'm going to miss, then I could
miss out.
You know what if I say yes tothis one?

(12:25):
But I really should have beendating this one, like I didn't
know.
I was not in my spiritual eraback then, so I just went out
with all of them, which ofcourse, did not.
It actually reduced my value intheir eyes and in my own eyes,
right?
So anyway, I hadn't reallythought about that for a long
time because it was a long timeago.

(12:46):
But one of these guys popped uprecently on social media and, as
I was driving the other day, just that whole time period of
my life came through very clearand I started feeling some shame
and embarrassment and like, ugh, cringe, like why did I do that

(13:09):
?
But then I caught myself and Iwas like, oh, no, no, okay, this
is happening right now, thismemory because I haven't quite
shifted the balance here, Ihaven't looked at the fair
exchange in these situations,right.
So I did that.

(13:29):
And then I just startedthinking for some reason about
this other law, the law of all,and I was like, okay, the wealth
we want is always around us.
It just might be in differentforms than the physical form.
Of course we all want thephysical wealth form, right.
So I was thinking back then.

(13:49):
I'm like, okay, I had anabundance of guys, I had an
abundance of dating, and all Iwas actually looking for, if you
go to the root, was likesecurity in the form of money,
right.
So, like here I was trying tofind the wealth in these men.

(14:10):
But really I could have just ifI had known these tools back
then, I could have taken all ofthat and like put it into
physical wealth.
Right, I didn't know that then, but as I was driving I was like
, ooh, okay, let's see if thiswill work.
Higher self, I had a lot ofguilt and shame around what I

(14:33):
did back then.
I had an abundance of men.
I would like to cash that ininto physical wealth.
There was a little bit moresteps, but those were some of
the steps, I kid you not.
I woke up the next day with arandom $4,500 deposit, like, and

(14:57):
I had to immediately tell myfriend.
I was like Whoa, and she waslike, okay, we need to like
break this out and figure outexactly what you did so we can
replicate that.
And then, last night, I hadanother thought.
I hadn't been to the gym in acouple of weeks, and before that
, though, I had been going veryregularly, so I was just looking

(15:20):
at my curves and not bodyshaming myself at all, but I was
like, oh, maybe I could cash inthese, you know, extra five
pounds of unwanted weight intocash.
So I did my little steps in asimilar way, and I woke up with

(15:42):
$250 that I wasn't expecting,like, in addition to other
deposits coming in, but it was$250 I wasn't expecting.
So I'm definitely ontosomething there, right, but this
is all from playing energy, from fun energy.
It's not from walking aroundwith I owe people, people owe me

(16:03):
.
We have to be in balance withliterally everyone that we could
think that they owe us or thatwe owe them.
So if you're in my membership,I will actually tell you two
areas of life where you arecurrently needing some of this

(16:25):
balance.
But if you're not, what you cando is just think about, like,
where do you still feel likeyou're owed and why?
Who do you feel like you owe?
And then how can you startseeing the value, the fair
exchange, right, and so I'vedone this.

(16:48):
From family members to exes, tofriends, right.
I had a friend who and this wasobviously reflections,
craterfield, all of that, but Ididn't know all of that at the
time, but I felt like she wastreating me unfairly and I left
the friendship thinking, wow, that was so weird and it just

(17:13):
didn't make sense to me.
And I kept thinking I did thisfor her, I did that for her, I
did this for her.
And then, when I learned aboutthe science of fair exchange, I
was like, oh, okay, so sheactually taught me a lot, right,
and I balanced it out.
So your higher self already haslike a large number of wealth

(17:39):
that it wants you to step into.
Your human self just needs toactually step into it.
And how do we do that?
Many ways, including, you knowthe knowing, the ingredients to
wealth which I taught mymembership last week knowing how
to balance all of these areaswhere you could be out of

(18:00):
balance in fair exchange, rightGetting to the place where you
could look at every area of yourlife and thinking.
I have always given and receivedexactly what I needed.
Getting away from the thoughtsaround like I always give more
to people in relationships thanI get, like what do you think

(18:21):
that's going to call in I mean, just from a creator field
perspective, that's going tokeep calling that in right.
Or thoughts like I always getshortchanged or I always get
treated unfairly, or whatever itmight be.
We need to see the value.
So if you go through andthere's anybody or situations so
this can also happen with likeloans, bills, credit cards, you

(18:47):
can feel out of fair exchange.
With credit cards, let's say,you are having trouble paying
your bill, or there's actuallyan investment I made in
something that I thought wouldhelp me on my soul path, but
this was before I really knewwhat that looked like and it was
a large investment and I'mstill paying on it and I've

(19:10):
caught myself a few timesthinking I should never have
paid this.
And then I'll catch myself andsay, no, you absolutely should
have.
And here's why and I balance itout right Because I did learn
valuable lessons.
It did help me in differentways than I was expecting.

(19:32):
So do you feel like you're owed?
Do you feel like you owe otherpeople?
Just make a list of anywhereyou feel like you're owed.
Do you feel like you owe otherpeople?
Just make a list of anywhereyou feel like you're owed or
that you owe someone and juststart seeing how you can balance
it out.
And, if you need help, jumpinto the membership.
We're going to be diving intothis this week because right now

(19:55):
, the world really needs nextlevel role models.
We are needing like a stepabove what's already out there.
To do that, we do need money, which is a tool, which is a
resource, which is an amplifier.
Right, and this month we alsowent through a bunch of
misconceptions around money.
Right, like that, if you'respiritual, you don't need money.

(20:18):
A bunch of BS like that, abunch of dark force,
misinformation.
Because I have a goal to helpmillions of people.
So because I have that goal andI can see a path there, the
more money will come my waybecause I am working on behalf
of Source right, because I amworking on behalf of Source

(20:41):
right and I'm working from aplace of service to others and
also fulfilling my purpose.
So when you take the time tofree yourself from these
illusions which they areillusions of debt you don't just
feel lighter, you actuallybecome magnetic because you stop
broadcasting guilt and youstart broadcasting value, and

(21:07):
that's when the wealth can startto flow in, as long as you also
have the ingredients.
Ps.
