I heard that another newpodcast is coming out for those
that are enthusiasts of spirits.
So more details to come aboutthat.
(01:47):
We'll get into that later on.
But what an interesting week ithas been, and I say this because
we just had one of the biggestholidays in the Christian
calendar happen and then thenext day the biggest person in
(02:12):
the Catholic community passesaway the pontiff passes away.
Very interesting.
I know that there are so manystories that we'll kind of get
into and talk about this eveningand kind of dive down some of
those roads in regards to theconspiracies that are being
talked about about the passingof Pope Francis, the first
(02:38):
Jesuit pastor, and I know thatthere are people that are not
truly Catholic and I've heard alot of stories that have been
coming out that they've reallyenjoyed his presence and his
humility, his ability to reachout to the poor and be a part of
(02:59):
I don't want to say be a partof that community, but align
himself with people of thatclass of individuals.
It's interesting because thereare stories that have come out
that he had denounced and didnot ask for his payment as both
(03:21):
which he would have received acheck, check but he never took
that from the vatican and whenhe passed away he only had like
a hundred dollars.
It's quite interesting, uh, thedifferent stories that are
coming out about the pontiff, uh, pope francis the first, and
his passing right after you knowthe biggest, the highest mark.
(03:41):
You know the biggest, thehighest mark.
You know the resurrection ofJesus Christ.
For those who are Catholic, whoare those who are Christian,
that that is the big one of thebig holidays, right, and the
stories that have come out thisweek and recent days about, you
know, the Antichrist and howthat is playing into this.
(04:03):
And it's just interesting to methat people are going down
those roads and the speculationand I'm here for it.
I'll be honest with you.
I'm definitely here for anytype of speculation because
clearly that's what this show isall about.
And you know the fact thatthere are individuals that have
said and we'll get into all this, but what's interesting, when
(04:27):
you go back to think about PopeFrancis' passing, we know that
he passed the day after thehighest Christian holiday and
what's interesting to me is thatthey were able to figure out
his death without doing anautopsy because it's part of the
tradition that you don't do anautopsy on the pontiff and that
(04:53):
they were able to give anofficial report of his death of
a stroke which led to a valvecollapsing.
The Pope had faced severalhealth challenges over the years
.
I know that he was, you know, had the chronic he was
(05:18):
definitely he was type 2diabetic, but he was also
dealing with double pneumoniaand so that had really taken a
toll on the pontiff, the popefrancis, and what's interesting
to me, I mean him working to hisvery last day, and we'll get
into that a little bit further, and who he had been around,
(05:39):
things of that nature.
But going back to february, where the pontiff had spent some
time in the hospital, and Iknow that in earlier years, uh,
before becoming the pope, um,there are stories about, uh,
jorge mario borgoleo having onlyhaving one lung.
(06:01):
So that just also plays intothe whole fact of him having
that.
That, you know, having thatissue of just having that one
lung to do all that work for him.
And and yeah, you can, you canlive off of one lung, but when
you had double pneumonia, thingsain't?
You know you're going to findit very hard to breathe and and
(06:22):
and go through that process.
But think about this the Popewas in his final moments, was
surrounded by his caregivers inhis, you know, in the apartment,
very simplistic apartment.
(06:45):
It just it's sad that he passedaway and I know that the, the
catholic community is out theremourning, uh, going to get ready
to uh bury him.
If you're listening to us on oneof our radio affiliates, um, he
gets buried over the weekend,um, and, and that's going to
happen.
If you're listening on how youlisten and consume the show, he
(07:09):
may have already been buried soyou can go back and watch that.
It just is interesting to me,being someone who grew up
Catholic.
I know I was baptized as aCatholic, but our faith in the
Catholic community, in thechurch, was kind of like we were
(07:30):
, I guess, catholic byassociation in later in my
childhood, kind of being on ourown going to church.
But on the big holidays, youknow doing midnight mass, easter
, you know, you know AshWednesday, things of that nature
, and that's kind of how we wereas a family going to church.
(07:52):
Terrible, I know, very pleasedon't you know, don't judge me,
but I know that there are othersout there that can relate to
that growing up in Des Moinesand going to St Philomena and
(08:16):
you know seeing some of myclassmates and things of that
nature but there were a lot ofus that were part of the as,
like you know, queen marypassing away and you know the
having king charles move in thatyou don't see it often right,
(08:40):
you don't get to experience themajesty of how the pontiff is
picked.
I mean, think about this rightnow People are watching Conclave
on record levels right now.
Even I partaked and watchedConclave and I know it's on
(09:01):
different platforms and youmight be able to watch it for
free, but it's on differentplatforms and you might be able
to watch it for free, but it'savailable.
I mean, they've had morestreams this last week after the
pontiff had passed, and thatmovie itself is was made or
around, based off of mariobergoglio, off of Mario
(09:23):
Bergoglio, off of his papacy andnot so much, but kind of around
Pope Francis, because he becamePope and they were doing the
screenwriting during his when hefirst took, when he was elected
to be Pope.
So if you're interested inwatching that, it's available on
(09:44):
all types of platforms to watchit.
You don't need to go to themovie theater anymore.
Does anybody still go?
You know you'll be able towatch it, but I think it's so
intriguing now how people aretalking about okay, you know,
now that the pontiff has passed,I mean it being so close to a
holiday, you know him passingaway the day after, like, and I
(10:08):
know that there are differentcardinals that I've seen on
television share their storiesabout wow, if you can go out any
way to write your own endinglike how awesome is that you
know to be able to die on theday after being someone of that
(10:29):
holy stature to be the mentor.
I'm at loss for words.
Which word I'm really lookingfor?
Representative of the holychurch, for um, representative
(10:53):
of the holy church?
Uh, I mean, he worked till theend, literally till the end,
which blows my mind.
And I know that I went back towatch eastern mass, um, and not
someone who's dabbled with thereligion, like I said, you know,
going through and going tochurch, but not so much to the
Catholic church, more to like aPentecostal church down in
(11:17):
Puyallup is where I tend to go,but I still have that drawback
to the Catholic Church to watchthe magistrate or the religious
rituals that are a part ofEaster for the Catholic
community and how grandiose itis, and so being able to partake
(11:42):
and watch, and I was likewhere's the Pope?
Where's the Pope?
You see him come out andwhatnot, and his part was very
small, but he was in really badshape, you know, and he still
was working to the very, veryend.
Even in his final moments, popewas surrounded by his his care
(12:07):
team you know the people thatcared for him and members of the
the papal house, and he hadexpressed his wishes to remain
at the home rather than betransported to the hospital.
And he passed was very discreetand suddenly, and his last
(12:32):
words were that he expressed hisgratitude to the nurses that
accompanied him at St Peter'sSquare on Easter Sunday.
The Vatican had made theannouncement of his funeral,
which will take place, or hastaken place, on April 26th in
Peter Square.
So if you haven't seen it oryou want to watch it I'm sure
(12:55):
it's on YouTube somewhere and Iknow that you know this marks
the end of his historical papacyas the first Latin American
pope and him beingtransformative figure to the
Catholic Church and to many ofthe Latin community of the
(13:18):
Americas to be the first JesuitPope Pontiff.
Where does the Catholic Churchgo from here?
It's going to be interestingwhen they go to conclave to
figure out where the church isgoing to go, and I know that
(13:39):
this now spins.
You know, when they go toconclave, this starts to spin in
a direction of where's thechurch really going to go after
this and stick with me if you'relike where's the conspiracies
here?
Mario, we're getting there,okay.
It's just interesting to mewhere the church is going to go
(14:00):
and how are they going to go.
More forward thinking, or doyou think are we going to see
someone who is more like a blendof a John Paul II, pope
Benedict and maybe Francis, kindof a combination of all three?
(14:20):
The shepherd, the biblicalhistoric, you know person in
Benedict and then you know thecompassion and the heart of the
two, john Paul and Pope Francis,to make a really great new pope
.
I mean, that's how I see itgoing.
(14:40):
Now the conspiracies start tospin after the pope passes away,
because you've got theantichrist uh, conspiracies out
here and you have the, theconspiracies from nostradamus
predicting his death.
There's so many of these outthere.
(15:03):
In regards to where theconspiracy is going, I love
hearing and listening to themEverywhere from.
Like I said, the prediction ofNostradamus to is JD Vance, the
Antichrist when, you know, arewe in the end times where
(15:24):
biblical scripture talks aboutthe Antichrist but it also talks
about in the church, where PopeFrancis is?
And this is the interestingpart to me and we'll kind of get
into this a little bit more isthere's only one more spot left
(15:48):
for the next pope.
There is no more blank spots.
So the word on the street forthis conspiracy hang with me is
that there was a prediction that400 years that someone said
(16:08):
that they had predicted that theend of the world will come to
an end under the last pope, which is now here.
We're going to elect, possiblythe last pope.
Now you can take that for whatit's worth.
On what social media platformseveryone is deeping, just
(16:34):
letting everyone know andsharing these different stories.
I myself, I ain't ready to go,so I'm not.
I don't want the world to endtoday or tomorrow, you know.
So on that piece I'm like, no,I'm not ready.
But is it possible?
Are we in end times, you know?
(17:00):
I mean, could you imagine If itwas end times?
So before we get back, let's goback to the piece where
Nostradamus had made thisprediction of Pope Francis'
(17:20):
passing.
Now, what's interesting aboutthe 16th century French
astrologer?
He was often credited for hispredictions of the death of Pope
Francis.
In his crypt writing, nostradamus always referred to
the passing of a very oldpontiff, which many have
(17:43):
interpreted to align with PopeFrancis, the recent pope being
88 years old.
Nostradamus speculated aboutthe challenges of the church
which they are facing after thepontiff passes, including his
(18:04):
successor.
Who's weakened?
Who?
Who they think or whonostradamus believes will be
weakened in his seat, in hispapacy.
But of course, theseinterpretations are open for to
debate now don't?
Nostradamus being a prophecyand famously having very vague
(18:30):
and symbolic predictions, I meanit's up for interpretation.
You know, I I'd have to go backto find out who was the oldest
Pope, you know, and I believe itmight have been Pope Francis.
Well, I mean, it says theprevious before Pope Francis was
(19:06):
Pope Benedict, who had servedthe Catholic Church, but then he
stepped down, but he didn't die.
His passing was 95.
Pope Benedict was known for his, yeah, but if we're going off
the prediction, he resigned.
(19:28):
He was the first pope to stepdown.
So Pope Benedict, we're goingto have to align with that.
It's going to be very vague.
So I mean, pope Francis mighthave been the oldest pope,
because Benedict was emeritus bythen.
I guess it's subject tointerpretation.
(19:52):
But you could also say that theCatholic Church was under a lot
of turmoil during Pope BenedictXVI's papacy, which made him
step down and being the first todo so in 600 years.
(20:12):
So at that point I mean, maybeit was Nostradamus making that
prediction, maybe it wasn't PopeFrancis, maybe it was Pope
Benedict XVI Aligning to theCatholic Church having some
turmoil and you kind of moveforward.
(20:35):
And there were some turmoilgoing back through through that
time during his papacy, with theallegations and the different
allegations that came forwardthrough the church and what they
were hiding, things of thatnature.
It's to me it, it.
(20:57):
It seems like it is like you're, you're right, mario, you're
like it is very close.
You know, we just don't.
I mean it's again aloosey-goosey, it's subject to
interpretation.
Um, it's something that wethink about.
And maybe you don't think aboutthis, but could you imagine if
(21:18):
you were living in end timesright now?
Okay, so think about this youlive through.
There are a lot of us who havelived a very long time Now if
you're anywhere from 80 to 8,some of you gone through the
pandemic, some of you have gonethrough 9-11.
Some of you may have gonethrough the Vietnam War, korean
(21:46):
War, you've gone through thetear down of the wall, the Cold
War, the Great Recession andsome of you may still be around
listening to this podcast radioshow from the Great Depression.
So if this is end times, ifthis was end times, are you
(22:17):
worried?
Are you sad?
Do you have your affairs inorder?
And when I say that, are youright with your maker?
Like, maybe you're a christian,maybe you're, you know, jewish,
or maybe you don't have faith.
That's okay too.
Um, maybe you're muslim orwherever you lie in the middle
or however that plays out foryou.
(22:38):
Can you imagine like this?
Is it we're about to turn thelights out on this thing?
It blows my mind to think and Ihope we're not in end times.
That would suck, you know, going back to some of the stuff
that has been talked about.
(22:59):
Um, let's go back and talkabout um as we continue doing
the radio show.

You're like when I'm driving, Iwant to hear it on the radio.
There's something romanticabout listening to the show on
the radio.
So we'd love to send yourprogram directors an email Say,
(24:09):
hey, you got to play USPhenomenon, all right, but let's
continue talking about where weare.
Are we close to end times?
Who is the antichrist?
Was the pontiff the antichrist?
I don't think anybody wouldthink that.
Right, and we know thatnostradamus had put that, that
(24:35):
prediction there.
But the one that gets me themost is the ones that are coming
around out right now that aretalking about the Antichrist
being possibly someone from theUnited States.
(25:01):
Now we have some audio and videofrom TikTok, so it's public
knowledge.
We're going to play this littlepiece of audio.
Let me know what your thoughtsare on this one.
All right, let's see how thisgoes.
All right, let's take a listenreal quick.
This let's see how this goes.
All right, all right, let's.
Uh, let's take a lesson realquick, let's see what she's.
(25:31):
Oh, we lost our connection withthis little, uh little, uh,
antichrist.
Uh, let's see what she sayshere, and we lost the audio.
Oh, bummer, let's see here, seeif we got it here.
Now, that's a bummer.
(25:53):
Well, we'll remove her and seeif we can get her to come back
and share.
Let's see if we can get her tocome back on the show.
All right, let's see if we canget her back here.
Here we go, let's see if we canget her back here.
(26:16):
Yeah, what happened to her?
Huh?
Speaker 3 (26:28):
There we go.
Antichrist in there.
That's the only thing.
Pope died.
Everybody's talking about JDVance being the Antichrist and I
want to tell you that he's not.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Okay so hold on tight
here we go.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
The Antichrist does
not operate alone.
He has people that work withhim.
By the way, if you go up to thelink where the links live,
there's a whole thing about theAntichrist in there.
That's the only thing I findworthy right now to put in my
link.
Go check it out.
Okay, because I'm not an avidBible person, because I'm not,
I'm going to read, so pardon methat I'm reading from a screen.
(27:01):
But here we go.
Okay, the book of Revelations.
The Antichrist doesn't operatealone.
Okay, he's propped up by thefalse prophet Revelation 13, 11
through 15, a religious figureor spiritual leader who performs
signs and miracles tolegitimize the Antichrist and
deceive the masses.
The beast's power comes fromthe dragon, satan.
(27:24):
Okay, he gives power to othersto carry out destruction,
manipulation and spiritual war.
Okay, revelation 13, 4,.
And they worship the dragon whogave authority to the beast,
and they worship the beastsaying who is like the beast.
Okay, translation there is achain of command.
The Antichrist can anoint inpower and possess others to act
(27:48):
as his energetic agents.
He sent JD Vance to kill thePope.
So in this context, trump couldempower a proxy somewhat, proxy
somewhat like jd to carry outhis energy or deliver a death
blow, even symbolically, to adying pope like the pope so the
(28:11):
audio and video here suggeststhat the Antichrist is not JD
Vance, which a lot of people aretalking about, but is they're
saying Donald Trump, which iscrazy to me.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
I couldn't imagine
that that would be the case.
But let's finish listening toher text and we can continue
talking about this.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
When he went to go
see him, or an entire
institution.
I mean, it's possible.
So JD Vance meets with the Popejust the day before he dies,
and what's even funnier is thathe brushes him off, and I don't
know that it's funnier.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
But okay, continue on
.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
Off and sends him to
a lesser guy, probably because
he didn't feel good, because hewas in the middle of dying.
But whatever brushes him off toa lesser guy, probably because
he didn't feel good, because hewas in the middle of dying.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
But whatever brushes
him off to a lesser guy and so
jd vance goes to meet with thepontiff on easter sunday and
this is where the TikTok YouTube, those videos start to come in.
(29:23):
The social media posts start torun rampant through the social
media community.
If you're on TikTok and that'swhere I'm going with this Is
this possible?
Is this really possible rightnow?
Are we really talking aboutthat?
(29:43):
There's a conspiracy that JDVance was able to do something
like that.
I just it's.
I don't know when are people'sminds at these days.
Where are we at in societywhere we're like there's so much
(30:09):
trash, so much I don't evenwant to call it garbage, but
it's so much inundation, saturation of stories.
You even got my 70 somethingyear old pops believing that
this is gospel news stories, articles, things of that nature.
(30:35):
But like, oh well, how did youget the news?
I got it from social media.
What I?
I'm an old school guy.
I'm an old school guy when itcomes to it.
If it's not part of and I knowpeople are going to go back and
be like well, mario, that's,they're not even safe either
(30:55):
some of these entities of newsagencies and how the information
is being disseminated.
You really have to do your, your homework on it.
You know and how, everywherefrom you know the ap news and
which, back in the day, when Iwas going through college, like
(31:15):
you, had to have three crediblesources before you could even
talk about the story on theradio or it.
Just, the times have definitelychanged, but this is where we
got to like, think about thesethings.
I I am one to believe that ifthe pontiff passed away, he
(31:38):
passed away on just of an oldage.
He was just an old man who hadbeen doing his work for the Lord
.
He was the Lord's shepherd andwas, you know, his physical
being here on earth to do theLord's work.
I mean, think about it.
(31:59):
His girlfriend at a young ageturned him down and then later
in life he goes away to become apriest and then he gets
elevated to be a bishop, acardinal, and then eventually
(32:20):
he's elected pope.
Excuse me, I struggle with alot of that because someone who
I mean, like I said, when wetalk about the, you know the
antichrist and being end times,I mean, if this is the end times
(32:46):
, I mean let's get into it allright.
I mean this is the piece ofwhere everyone about it, the,
the biblical uh, the bibledescribes and talks about the
(33:07):
antichrist multiple times in thebible, for 1 john 2, 18 it's
mentioned that many antichristshave appeared but also speaks in
singular the antichrist willcome in the last hour.
(33:28):
So maybe the antichrist isn'there yet.
I wish I had a theologian whocould come on to share, maybe,
some more insight.
If you're a part of the, ifyou're a theologian and you have
that knowledge, call us775-990-5151.
We'd love to have you on.
(33:48):
This figure denies Jesus Christas the Christ and rejects both
God as the Father and Son.
Now we're not getting that fromthis administration, so I'm not
sure why people are callingthese two individuals the
(34:10):
Antichrist.
If it's Donald Trump or JDVance, we're not getting those
denouncements of them nottalking about jesus christ and
rejecting god is the father andthe son.
So it's kind of these, thesetheories out there that are
(34:32):
being kind of pushed around.
This is what the bible talksabout.
This is what kind of goes downthat roam of like okay, so we
can kind of like start chippingaway at these stories that
aren't they're like look likeit's fun.
(34:53):
Right to talk about it, tospeculate.
It's like going.
It's like old school going tothe grocery store.
You know, for those of us whogrew up in a time where you know
we went to the grocery storewith our parents, and I know
kids still go to the grocerystore with their parents, but
it's not the same.
You don't see the samenewsstands.
(35:14):
Uh, you know those end caps asyou go in to the checkout stand
where they they still have allthe gum there and but you just
don't see a lot of the oldschool sun magazine, you know,
the national inquirer.
These magazines have becomethinner and less public.
(35:35):
Their publications are just alittle more um, I don't want to
say restricted, but they're notall present up front in the, in
the, you know, in the cashierline where back in the day you
would see these things and youwould say, man, uh, wolfman was
abducted by aliens, or aliensthat made, you know, contact
(35:55):
with a child, or human abductionhappens.
You remember, these days, youknow, and these tabloids that
were out there producing thiscontent, I mean, let's be honest
, I mean that was great formercontent because y'all picked up,
we all did, I know we all didPicked up the magazine, start
(36:15):
reading it.
Right, you go through andyou're like, oh, wow, wow,
that's a.
And then you put it backbecause you're like, okay, well,
it's my time to check out.
Right, they're checking out thebags and if you're lucky,
there's a, a courtesy clerkbagging your stuff.
If you're at a differentgrocery store, you're bagging it
.
Um, I mean, but there wasn'talways a courtesy clerk, excuse
(36:39):
me, at my grocery store back inthe day.
So we were, we were baggingthem.
You know, if you're at thelocal fred meyer, I think they
have cash they have back inthose days.
I say that in the 80s theydidn't.
There were not courtesy clerksback then.
I I know what a courtesy clerkis because I spent some time
behind bagging groceries back inthe day.
(37:00):
But yeah, I mean, it says herein the Bible that it talks about
the Antichrist and it says thathe didn't.
You know that the figure deniesJesus as the Christ and rejects
both the God, that, both Godthe Father and the Son.
So we're not seeing that fromthis administration.
(37:21):
So you know, you kind of knowwhere people are Well, I guess
we don't.
This is a speculation and whereyou think people are in their
beliefs and their I don't wantto say religious beliefs, but
where they lie in regards totheir political views.
So I mean it can go back eitherway, right.
(37:43):
So it continues to talk aboutin the Bible, about the
Antichrist, multiple more times, even in Revelations 13,.
The portrayal, the portrays ofthe Antichrist the beast
quote-unquote rises from the seawith a symbolic horns and head,
represent the power and theauthority.
(38:06):
The beast performs a sign andwonders to deceive people.
So I guess the interpretationof the beast performing signs
and wonders to deceive people sois the antichrist doing
(38:33):
christ-like work, healing people, christ-like work, healing
people?
Are we talking about someonewho is a false prophecy the
bible does continue to talkabout, also warns of the false
(38:55):
propherist, as seen in 1 John 4,3 and John 2, 1, 7.
These passages emphasize thevigilant faith to avoid being
misled.
Let me repeat that.
(39:17):
These passages emphasize thefaith to avoid being misled.
Now, I'm not a theologian.
You can go through these andyou can say, well, I mean, we
(39:39):
can say well, yeah, donaldTrump's the Antichrist, but he's
not.
Jd Vance is not the Antichrist,so it's not this administration
.
We know that, but we do havepeople saying that, that the
(40:03):
president is the chosen one fromJesus Christ to fix the country
, to bring this country back, and I know that we live in such
a society where we want thingsto be so fast and done so
quickly.
But I don't think that thisadministration had anything to
(40:26):
do with the passing of PopeFrancis by any means, where a
lot of the predictions andconspiracy theories talk about
this, and we know that the Popepasses away and we're going to
elect a new Pope.
There will be a new pontiff.
(40:47):
You'll be able to watch it.
You'll be able to see the blacksmoke.
You'll see we won't see theconclave.
You'll see the guys go in,probably under film, and do the
to-do, but I'm assuming we willhave a pope picked out within
(41:08):
the first or two voting sessions.
They won't be in conclave morethan two to three days.
That is my prediction there.
So if you're into that and Iknow I will be spending a lot of
time watching that and being apart of that process being a
former Catholic, you knowspending a lot of time going to
(41:29):
church, but this gives me anopportunity to go back and watch
and I kind of want to get backinto why are people thinking
that this will be the last pope.
(41:49):
Many have said that, um, thatthere's no more room in, uh, in
peter's, in the church, there'sno more room.
(42:12):
Um, um, the and here's where alot of this goes back to.
The idea that Pope Francis mightbe the last pope stemmed from
the prophecy attributed to the12th century Irish bishop.
According to the prophecy, there would be 112 popes from
(42:50):
Malachi's time until the end ofthe world.
Pope Francis is considered the112th pope.
Let me repeat that.
So when Malachi in the 12thcentury the Irish bishop,
according to the prophecy, therewould be 112 popes from
(43:17):
Malachi's time until the end ofthe world, pope Francis is
considered the 112th pope.
If that is correct, ladies andgentlemen, we are in end times
and the prophecy describes thefinal Pope as Peter the Roman,
(43:40):
who led the church during thistime of the Great Tribulation
following, followed by thedesecration of the Rome and the
judgment, last judgment.
While some of the prophecy isintriguing to many scholars,
(44:04):
many scholars do dismiss this asa hoax or overly symbolic
interpretation.
The Catholic Church itself hasno official endorsement or has
not officially endorsed thisprophecy.
Why would they?
If you're in the churchbusiness, then it would be bad
(44:25):
for business.
There's no way in hell ifyou're a clergy, if you're that
church, I mean.
I think there's like one pointsomething billion Catholics that
would be bad for business.
There's no way that the churchis like yeah, that's it.
The Catholic Church itself, again, has not made any official
(44:49):
endorsements in regards to thisprophecy, so the subject
remains for debate.
What do you think about thisprediction?
Is this fascinating to you oris this far-fetched?
(45:10):
Send me a text.
775-990-5151 a text star comingin.
We are getting some texts fromthe us phenomenon text hotline.
At 775-990-5-1.
Um james, who lives in seattle, goes to saint john's cathedral.
(45:32):
Thinks that this is far fetched.
There's no way that this is thelast.
We are in end times, um, but Ido love the doomsday conspiracy
prophecy.
I I I gotta go with you on thisone too, but it is intriguing.
Right, there were 112 popes, orthey believe that Pope Francis
(45:57):
is the 112th pope and theydescribe him as being considered
the 112th pope, and theprophecy describes the final
pope as peter the rome, who ledthe church during the time of
the great tribulation, followedby the destruction of rome and
(46:23):
the last judgment.
Okay, I mean, yeah, that wouldbe super bad for business for
the Catholic Church if that wasthe case, you know, yeah,
wouldn't be good.
Are you excited for the newpope, do you?
If you're a Catholic maybeyou're non-Catholic and I know
there's a lot out there andsomeone like myself who's not
practicing the Catholic faithexcept for, like, on the big
(46:48):
holidays, I'll watch midnightmass, easter, ash Wednesday,
things of that nature.
I know that I spent a lot oftime this, since the Pope has
passed, being very intriguedwatching John Paul's, the
election, having him come out,you know, learning the history,
(47:09):
the election, having him comeout, learning the history about
John Paul.
I mean for most of my life, Imean for most of our lives.
If you're born in the late 70s,you've had like three popes
(47:29):
John Paul II, well, actually youhad john paul ii, then you had
john paul ii, then you hadbenedict and now francis.
So you know, for me I've had,you know, four popes in my
lifetime.
I don't remember the first onebecause he wasn't't around for
(47:49):
very long and passed away, things of that nature, so his
papacy was very short-lived 88days.
But again, it's just, it'sfascinating to me.
You watch and you go back andyou watch how they go through
conclave the movie's out now, soyou can watch that kind of give
you a sneak peek.
Go through conclave the movie'sout now, so you can watch that
kind of give you a sneak peek ofwhat goes on.
(48:12):
But also the movie that was outthere about the two popes you
know, benedict and Francis, andthat was a good one to watch as
well.
And you know it shows Benedictand Francis and kind of tells a
story about how Mario Bergogliobecomes the Pope and how he was
almost elected the Pope Afterthat conclave, after John Paul
(48:39):
II passed away.
So again, it's just an.
It's just like an interestingtime right now A renewal for the
Catholic Church, a synergy, anew pontiff coming to the head
of the church to be a part ofone point something billion
(49:06):
Catholics.
Is it going to be someone from?
Maybe it's going to be, uh,someone from africa.
Maybe it will be someone fromthe the you know someone from.
Maybe it'll be a taiwan or afilipino pope, you know, will it
be anlave?
Where will these guys vote?
And my mind went and drew ablank.
(49:34):
But the Cardinals, the Collegeof Cardinals, where are they
going to put?
Who are they going to vote for?
I mean, we're not going to knowbecause they're going to burn
the ballots, but I know that thespeculation is out there.
You know you're going to startto see some of that?
Um, here in the next coupledays and maybe already we are
(49:55):
seeing some of that out that, inthat information, who is
aligning to be the pope?
Because a lot of these guyshaven't even met each other.
Um, so, not a show that wetypically would do, but because
of the something that I wasintrigued by and had some
passion about and spent manynights in the last couple days
(50:17):
and week to talk about or tothink about this and to be a
part of not be a part but watchfrom a distance it's just
intriguing to me to be able tosay, oh yeah, this is awesome to
watch how this goes down.
You know, go back and watchsome of that on YouTube.
You can, you know, you canwatch Pope Francis take, you
(50:38):
know, come out on the deck andthen making the announcement of,
you know, you know, like, youhear all that and you get to see
the magistrate, but it's kindof the same thing, of like.
So those old traditions arestill around.
Uh, it will be interesting tosee how this plays out in the
next weeks and month.
(50:59):
Um on who becomes the next pope, who will be become?
Who will become the next popeto lead 1.2, 1.something billion
Catholics.
It will be interesting Now aswe wrap things up here from the
Pacific Northwest.
