In this teaching, Van of Urantia talks about his own personal religious experience and teaches about the markers of spiritual progress, the Seven Psychic Circles. This information is not commonly known because we live on a fallen world. Starseed souls often fluctuate between the circles and few stabilize on the 3rd circle, allowing the possibility of receiving an Angel of Enlightenment. We can attain these higher consciousness levels by becoming purified, sanctified, and adhering to the Commandments which Moses received on Sinai.
Van of Urantia mentions his affinity for the film, Star Trek: Insurrection, and the civilization of people it shows; living a simple, agrarian lifestyle despite the fact that they have highly developed technologies.
In order to cultivate the Fruits of the Spirit, we need to have a sense of humor… not that life can be all jokes and laughter. As it says in Ecclesiastes, there is a time for all things.
Van of Urantia’s teaching is based upon “Religion and the Individual,” section 2 from Paper 103 of The URANTIA Book, “The Reality of Religious Experience.” When all is said and done, we have to keep changing. We can’t just stay in the same spiritual neighborhood our whole life. We must continue to grow in God, the Universal Father, in all that we do.
